With all that perlite, you could fill the tray at the bottom and the soil could suck it up to the top of the pot.

I agree, they are growing very rapidly. Most likely due to the new gear and ditching the cfls. This will be interesting as there will be about 6 days with no updates and no pictures, I'm hoping I come back to a literal forest in my tent.
They have grown up so fast!

Everyone got up potted, tied down, watered, and defoliated. Not sure how much water they got, after the 12th liter in the first pot I turned on the garden hose.

I hope 6 gallon won't end up being too big for my space. I know that 4 of them would fill the 4x4 half of my tent nicely. I love the 4x8 as I have room to jump inside, zip it up, turn on some tunes, and work. Also if they get a little too bushy I have a extra room.

Day 48
Everyone is still doing very well. Still tieing everyone down a little at a time. Diesel #3 is especially stiff so she moves like a quarter inch every other day. Getting nervous for the week away from my babies.

What did you settle on for your watering solution? I'm going away for a couple of 3-day stretches while in flower - was thinking of trying either releasing water on a timer (with an assist from the local hydro shop - they figured I could set it up for $50-60) or setting up a wick system. It's a little different for me with coco, watering daily.
