It is still a little thinner, but many bud sites will be able to grow up before it's back to a forest tomorrow. At that point I will LST some more. Oh, and the branches that I supercropped are standing straight up again just bruised a little. I'm just gonna tie them down and stick to what I know lol.Ok thats crazy lol. Didnt even skip a beat
Yup one of the indicators is alternating branches, then pre flowers, then sweet sweet bud. This is my experience anyway, if anyone can say otherwise feel free to chime in.
alternating branches is a sign of sexual maturity - but I don't think it indicates either boy or girl.
My hopes were up too.. I will wait another 2 weeks to flip. I'm going to a wedding in Victoria next week. Kind of stressed about how the girls will get watered for a week... also if ANYTHING happens, I may come home to 7 dead plants...And here my hopes were all up due to seeing that now the other plant has alternating leaves on the stem as well. It's strictly luck of the draw when using regular seeds. A few weeks more and they will reveal their true identities. Switching to 12/12 this coming Thursday. Hoping for beginner's luck. Can they go 2 for 2? C'mon girls. Don''t let us down now. May we all have females. CG are you flipping on Thursday also? End of week 7 from germ for us both, right? And Friday is the full moon.

I was thinking more low tech, get a large pan with water, set the pots in, invert some large water bottles, when the plants drink below the mouth of the bottles more water comes out. Maybe it won't work, any physics majors in here? Lol."The cows don't know it's Sunday," as my father used to say. I have thought about this too, especially with warmer weather coming.
I have thought about maybe a jug or a bucket with lines that drip water very very slowly--just a maintenance feed. If your plumbing is amenable, you could set up an actual plumbed drip system...
Also, we grow our plants with the pedal to the metal to maximize output, but if you're leaving for a week you could raise the light up to reduce the intensity, increase circulation to lower the temperature, and stuff like that to kind of put you plants not quite on "hold" for a week but to set things up so constant attention is not required.

Right now they drink about 1 liter a day each. That's a great idea! Very simple and it should do the job. Thanks for that. I used to have Venus Fly Traps (which need to actually have soaking, boggy soil or they die) rigged up with system just like that. And not long ago, I had an automatic nutrient top-off system on my hydroponic reservoir that used the same principle. (The plants drank so much that they'd empty a two-liter bottle in less than a day, and they needed their pH attended to so often that I abandoned the idea, but it will reappear in hydroponic reservoir 2.0. )
Ghetto-ass reservoir auto top-off system

Do u have a link to that swick? Sounds like it would be a good idea. One week without new water in veg - that's like having your dealer out of town and one has to take a bit of tolerance break from weed.
It's a good thing to water them with as much as they can take, and then not water to force tem to send out roots to every possible point in the soil looking for water. My girls average 5 days between watering late in veg (in 7 gallon pots.)
If you were to be gone for 10 or more days I would try what SweetSue calls a SWICK. A thick tray of perlite with plain water about an inch below the bottom of the pots. The water climbs up the perlite and into the bottom of the pot. We did a 16 day vacation by leaving the plants on SWICKs. One plant grew into a light and got toasty, so I topped the burnt part when I got home. - overall everything was fine.
