Canada Guy's Medical Fusion Grow

Looking really nice.

What did you settle on for your watering solution? I'm going away for a couple of 3-day stretches while in flower - was thinking of trying either releasing water on a timer (with an assist from the local hydro shop - they figured I could set it up for $50-60) or setting up a wick system. It's a little different for me with coco, watering daily.
I usually go about 3-4 days between waterings. I will completely saturate the girls Thursday morning before we go, fill the trays I have with water, and hope for the best.

Thank you very much! What are you waiting for?

The summer is my busy time and I spend weeks away from home. I have figured out what I want to do and have started acquiring everything I need. So far I have a bunch of different seeds and everything I need to mix up some living organic soil. I will mix it up when I get home from this work trip. Just happened to be working where I could find some volcanic basalt and glacial rock dust for a decent price. I still need to purchase my tents, lights, and all the little "fixin's" like timers and pots. So I am at least a month away and probably longer since I am not going to go cheap with lights. COB's are in my future.

It will all be worth the wait because it will be a proper first grow with quality from the soil up. Pretty excited to get going but gonna be patient.

If your doing nothing anyway try some gorilla growing. Depending where you live you can literally drop seeds on the ground, come back in the fall, and harvest. LED might be the future but too expensive for me.

Sounds like a solid plan UA. Get all those toys together, get em growing and you know what will happen? There will be more toys. One can never have enough toys. Every time I run to the local hardware store or hydro shop I feel like it is Christmas. Keep us posted as to when you get up and running. This hobby is awesome. And this community we have here is even better. I've said it before, the powers that be of our world need to take a lesson from all of us cultivators. There would be peace. Rock on! Grow em green and plentiful.

Day 49

All is well. Not much to report, having car trouble so dealing with that right now.

Glad to hear you made it CG. Congrats to your brother on his day of matrimonial bliss. My spirits report that your babies at home are creating a forest for you. Be prepared to do some "weed" whacking in a few more days. Enjoy!

Day 54

I returned from my trip today to find a small forest in my tent. The defoliation and no Nutes made for some fantastic slow growth just as planned. Today I drained all the tubs of water and I will let them dry out completely before watering again. They really take well to the feast or famine approach when it comes to water. The roots are already coming out the bottom of the 6 gallon cans.
