Camo's 1st Grow - Coco - LED - Lucas Autos - Poll Of Strain To Grow

Haha if that's the comparison I love lite beer compared to heavy beer!! Thank you for your thoughts on photos and autos comparison.
Jandre I will have to look up the green clean! I want to have something on hand cause I have 2 dogs and afraid I will have problems with pest!!
As far as miller, Brad and growchick goes I think I'm doing the opposite. I may throw a photo in with my autos and just let it have a long ass veg !

So here is some sort of real UPDATE !!!

So here I am today I'm gonna finish up hopefully putting a lock on closet door and finishing up how I'm gonna keep telling temperatures in range of 70-80. Although atrain showed a video I watched that said 75-85F is a good temperature with leds! Well i don't know but if I have a heater on it gets to hot in closet, if I don't it gets to cold. I have to figure something out with the heater kicking on every so often to warn the room up, cause I don't think the leds are heating up all that well! So today's agenda is to get the temps right in grow area! Oh and humidity is just as wild as anything ! RH fluctuation from 30-70%.
Right now temperature is 68F and 55%. So just have to get temps up about 10 degrees and we will be good.

On another hand, I have everything I need for my grow now....EXCEPT MY MEDIUM!! Still waiting on coco, got ventilation with filter put up, clip on fans in tent, leds raised about as high I can raise them ! Did some decent work to the tent yesterday !

Excellent progress!!! I hope you congratulate yourself with a big fat joint, right a bout now (funk soul brother check it out now right about now)

Haha thank you so much grow chick! I'm glad to have you along! I have no one to share with about this except you guys! Yall and my wife are the only people that now about my little grow area! So it feels good for the pat on the back after the hard work haha! I think I will enjoy a nice bowl now !
Camo it's the same case for me it's kind of a shame but also a dirty secret at the same:cheesygrinsmiley:... I do feel bad for my girl though the grow has kind of taken over our conversation topics haha

As your temps fluctuate your humidity will too... it's RELATIVE to your temperature.. that's why it's referred to as relative humidity. As temps spike or fall, RH will follow suit, and then will level out. Also, when your lights go out, your plants are still transpiring full throttle. This is an exchange of water vapor and gases needed for photosynthesis. When the lights abruptly flip off, the temperature drops, but the plants are still pumping vapor for a few minutes longer, this will cause a spike in RH as well. If you have a way to dim the lights to 30%-40%, to get the plants to shut down, before total lights out, this will help with that RH spike. Also, keep your exhaust fan running for 2 hours after your main lights go off, this will also help with the RH spikes after lights out.

Really? See I keep my house 66F day and night. So I was hoping with the 710cfm Hyperfan I have. I was thinking in Veg I could run it without the filter cause there wouldn't be much of smell, but when these babies start flowering hook it into the filter for the smell!

I'm probably gonna have to get a humidifier ! My humidity is to low! It's stayin with fans blowing and hyperfan evacuation out the RH is staying 33%. But I have a Thermometer/hygrometer sitting outside the tent and says humidity in my house is 52%. So I wonder if the fans are blowing away any moisture ! I have a bucket full of water with a towel half soaked in it and half hanging out to raise humidity but it only raised 1-2%.
I will have to figure something out with that. Besides that still waiting on medium, thought it would be here by now. Guess I jumped the gun on the whole grow thing, but at least I am getting to trouble shoot temperature and humidity problems now without risk of plants living being in there.

Speaking of I had a question for all you wonder people following along. Once medium that is wet and plants living and breathing in that tent/closet, do you think RH will go up or down ???

The smell starts long before the flowers do, FYI.

Whether you need a humidifier or not depends mostly on where you live. When I was in Texas, I never needed on in my garden. Here, I run it full blast 24/7 and barely crack 45%. The plants transpire which produces some humidity, but your fans offset that. It kinda comes down to your overall geography on that.

Oaky... here's where my personal comfort zones are.

RH. 30-50
Temp 55-85 (I run purps)
res pH 5.1 - 6.5
res temp <65

What is outside my cabinets doesn't frikkin matter to my plants so it doesn't matter to me, unless I'm spending a lot of time in there.

What I'm seeing on the inside of your tent is pretty good... RH was a tiny bit high at 60%, risking a mold settling in, so keep air moving to keep spores from settling on the surfaces. 50's and below is harder for mold spores 40% is the golden number. So 33% with lights on is actually not bad. It just looks like that the hot temps with the lights on coupled with the fans shutting off right when the lights go off and he plants still transpiring is causing the RH spike to the 60's. I think we know how to deal with that one. Try keeping your fan on an extra 2 hours after lights out, and tell me how that works. keep giving me a shot of the Accurtie, that tells me the 24 hour story better than anything.

And take the wick bucket out......

Hey growchick, that's the weird thing I live in a area that Is usually high humidity !

How big is your total living area? I too live in a state with god awful humidity and its always a struggle in my tent with lights on or off to keep it in the optimal range.

You'll see true numbers when the pots are in there. It will go up with the moist media in there. Geography does play a big part. I'm sitting in 12% RH in my barn and the tents are running at 25-55% RH. It's all a delicate balance of air movement. How much you take out of the tent (and when) and what is going in (if you're able to control that). It'll become second nature after a while. You'll see what works best for you. You should remember you can control the fan speed of your filter to alter the RH. (2 cents)

Your room looks very nice, Camo. You're going to do beautiful things in there, my friend!

Happy holidays to all!!!
