Camo's 1st Grow - Coco - LED - Lucas Autos - Poll Of Strain To Grow

Ok I bought 2 temp/hygrometer for back up just in case one broke. I had 1 in the tent and 1 outside. I'm resetting the outside one and I'm going to put it in the tent so I can check each accurite off of each other. Ok thank you for he ranges jandre for sure! Ok good to know humidity is good and not going to have to really deal with it as of now. I will try leaving the fan on a couple of hours past lights off, just got to get another timer haha!

Only thing that scares me as of now is the temps are getting so high during the day like now the temps are 86F. That's a little high, so I open the door to the closet and it drops to 84F. Now if I have company I have to close the closet door in bedroom for sound purposes but when it's just me and wife at home I can leave the door open! It's gonna be tricky that's for sure.

Also in my little 9sq ft area, I have 2 450w (260w actual) in the tent. TWO of the lights, I'm thinking maybe I need to cut one off, although it is hard spending all the money on leds & not run them both! I'd rather run both. I'll have to figure something out with temp not that I know humidity is fluctuating between good parameters.
I have heater in there and figured out running heat on low in that closet will keep temps in 70-80 range at night, should I say forget the heater and let it go ahead and drop to 6-7 range. That's what it goes to without heater at night. I would love any insights from everyone and anyone who has experienced these dilemmas !

Jandre and any me else here is some pics of the tent and accurite as of today. With tent running all night and all this morning. I have my off times, 6-10pm due to high traffic of the house I just want the grow area to be as quite as possible !

When u bomb you need at least 2. The second kills hatched eggs before their old enough to lay more. Then in another few days spray leafs. It's a war and looking at my leaves I'm loosing in a big way. GSC has most all leaves damaged. Cinex is better off but still has damage. Plants are to big for tent so I can't even get in the tent. That's a problem, next grow I'll be prepared and won't repeat these mistakes.

Live and learn. I did about all you could do wrong. I'm surprised that I made it this far along. Growing is like having a fish tank or another pet that does not talk. It takes far more "smart time" then I knew. The more you know about your plants life cycle the faster you can react and you won't loose all your leaves in a mite battle.

Camo, what size exaust fan are you running for your carbon filter, please? Cfm? 4-6-8"?
.

Well lucky I have you folks who have been through it and I can post a pic and get help when needed. I just know I need this stuff, keeps me so calm and collected!

Mcdive I am running a nice hyperfan 8IN 710cfm, and I bought a 8 to 4in reducer to a 4in carbon filter for the small 3x3 tent. 9sq ft. I bought the big ass fan with high cfm for future upgrade area grows. And then I'll just purchase a bigger carbon filter.
I keep the nice hyperfan on low setting 35% it keeps things cool with that huge leds I have in this small area. Shoot I got the itch to grow just waiting on my damn medium!!

Take that reducer off and watch your temps and RH drop. Get some air moving, Camo! :thumb:

:bigblush:You're running at 1/2 trottle, Camo. You're running too hot in the tent. Move air bud. Take it off and see what happens. What's to loose? 30 years of plumbing and HVAC work behind me is a ski g you to try it.

Forgot to mention, close the tent up and open a lower flap opposite the suction line. Get a cross current. Let me know what happens. If your ambient air in the room is , say 70, I would expect no more tan a 3-4 degree raise in the tent under full power.
Good luck ;-)

Listen to McCdive Camo, kinda freaky but that's the same thing likle step for step what I do and it works perfecting I experience about 8 degrees of change just due to my HPS, with the LED only its just as said 3 to 4. I'm running a 4 inch hurricane at full throttle in the same size space with my ambient temps at 70 and I never go above 78 with lights on.

See? lol.
That's about the temps I've gotten to also. If my tent hits 80+ I must be wearing a tanktop. Lol Summer is a whole new set of problems.
