Bud's Does A SIP Featuring The ViparSpectra KS5000

I’m also learning Spanish on a free site called Duolingo, I’ve been at it off n on for over a year now. Keeping the grey matter sharp.lol CL🍀
Aprendo cado invierno mi amigo. Masculine and feminine kills me, though.
Love duo-lingo but have nobody to practice with in real life. Have a basic understanding of german aslo.

Again, good brain work all the same.

Cheers!

I’m a Strat man myself, I just love that single coil tone. And I can rip on Fender neck. I got a SG I mess around with but when you’re used to playing a Fender it feels like playing a bass. lol CL🍀
Srats for Lead & Les Pauls for rhythm. I'm mostly rhythm with a little lead here & there when I needed to fill in the blanks. Songs like Breakdown by Tom Petty or Needle & the Damage Done by Neil Young pretty much require you to play both.

Same hear with the speed and the sore hands, but at least it is good brain excercise. :tommy:
Play on an acoustic for a few months & then go to the electric. That always helped me when it came to speed & accuracy. I do have 2 electric & 1 acoustic in the house & a line 6 Amp with built in effects. Guess I could mess with it to see if I can still play anything. Metallica was big when I quit playing. I played a lot of their stuff & Judas Priest, Scorpions, etc...

I’m lucky there’s a bunch of Mexicans that work @ a local Hot Dog/Burger joint that I practice with all the time. I’m ok with the m/f it’s conjugating that gives me fits. CL🍀

Didn’t Tom Petty play a Rick? I’m not a rhythm player, playing scales is more my thing. I love anything with a great riff. CL🍀

Good riffs & scales are great if you know them well enough. I was ordering CD's off ebay to learn lead riffs since I never learned music theory, circle of 5ths, etc. Just learned to play by ear for the most part. But TAB makes learning riffs much easier then when you had to read notes in the old days.

Off work today, so I'm going to start the SIP build. Should have it done in a day or so. I'll post all the pics when finished.
Still waiting for the seed to pop. Been 2 days. Seed is still there, but hasn't cracked yet. Cross my fingers it sprouts this time. I want to get this show on the road !

Absolutely, I don’t read music and tablature makes learning songs easier. I’m not really well versed in theory but I somewhat understand. Like scale modes and how they work. CL🍀

Buds I have a question/concern. I have these girls that I grew from seed in solo cups, then 1 gal fabric pots. This past Tuesday I moved them into SIP containers. They're in TLO soil under two Mars Hydro FC3000 lights 26" above the canopy at 100%. Based on the pic you posted of the one plant that yielded over a pound, I'm a little worried about whether I have enough space to veg them any longer - they're coming up on 10 weeks above ground but they've only been in the SIP containers for two

days...

These girls are all Power Plant strain & are supposedly known for large yields. When, in your opinion should I flip them? They're all very different from each other & one has a cluster of growth right in the center. They've were defoliated the day after I moved them into the SIP containers...

Not sure how much space you have; but from the size of the plants now.... I'd say each one will fill close to a 3'x3' area pretty well. In Fabric Pots they seem to double in size at Flip. In SIP's they seem to almost triple in size. Looks like nice strong branches so you should do pretty darn good IMO.

Well Hell's Bells. The 1st seed I planted has popped it's head up. It's at the side of the cup. Should I move it right away or leave it be a day or two ? Don't want 2 sprouts in the same cup. Don't want to kill it because I'll use the one I like best for this journal & put the other one in my small tent. That seed took a week to sprout.

@InTheShed is an expert at this! I think he doesn't worry about a few days before breaking them up.

That's great Buds! Must have migrated to the side while watering. I see it as good things to come, sometimes ya just gotta wait for it. If it was my little sprout, I would name it Gloria as in Gloria Gaynors I will surive.

That's wonderful news Buds!

It sounds like the Germination Gremlin has moved on to perplex some other grower. That little bastard gets around! :Rasta:

Rythm accoustic, here though my most recent purchase last year was a classical and started delving into flamenco.

They say that the older you get, the harder it is too learn and OY, my friends.. I never felt so useless in a long time.
Not advancing quickly but it is as much fun as it can be frustrating.lol

Nice to know fellow musicians. Nothing like a good smoke and a good jam with some good friends to feel the true meaning of harmony.

Cheers!

Good, I'll need you to do the intro to "Crazy On You" by Heart. Can you do that one ?
Been a while , Buddy! Could relearn it in a fews days. Could drum it too if I still had a set. Just kept a practice pad to keep my wrists agile.

I always let mine get complete root systems before I split them, but I've only done it with clones (as many as four in one solo cup):
