I am really glad to have these in my hands, should be some killer strains and some fun CBD stuff mixed in there.

That selection is amazeballs!! Your ladies look fabulous! Seems to me, you guys have it going on! Woo!!

Thanks, I can't take credit for the seed selection, I consulted Shiggityflip before ordering and he gave me the scoop. These plants are doing pretty good, I got them from Tead as clones and took it from there. They are some of the best looking plants I have grown. I may be figuring this thing out after all! Or maybe these plants are just very forgiving and I still suck. Time will tell.

You got a couple nice CBD strains there Brix. Most of those I haven't heard of, but the names suggest some interesting terpene profiles ahead. :battingeyelashes: The Blueberry X Harlequin Bx, what's the Bx stand for?

Wow! Love the seed choices! I will be flowering clusterfunk and the fuzz very soon, and a couple Tesla.

I'm very excited to see the HA OG X SD!

I have you to thank for the choices. Appreciate the help with that man, you are a damn treasure.

It looks like it's a strain from Bodhi seeds, here is what I could find:

"Harlequin is a famous californian cbd rich medical clone, its a sativa dominant cross of columbian gold, thai, and a nepali indica brought to the community by Wade Laughter. She's easy to grow, smells of exotic flowers, and provides a healthy harvest of cbd rich meds.

The harlequin backcross was made using three lab tested cbd rich good medicine (harlequin x appalachia) males. Harlequin is a beautiful strain, I've heard someone say the effect is like taking a hot shower, i hope that the release of this bx will capture the magic of the clone and allow people that do not have access to this plant to generate a harlequin like mother for juicing, extraction, cooking or combustion."

I am extremely excited for all the seeds, especially those with higher than normal CBD content. I am normally not a cannabis smoker, but I am hoping the CBD will allow me to enjoy consumption.

It is looking like I will need to put a heater into the veg tent. There is about a six degree difference between the veg tent and the bloom tent. Bloom tent sits at 80 degrees pretty easily, but the veg tent just does not want to get above 74 degrees and humidity in there stays in the mid 60s. Guess I will have to go in search of my heater.

Bx is back-crossed. :cheesygrinsmiley:

So the Harlequin was crossed back to a parent - HQ x HQ.

Alright guys, thanks for the good info there. I was not aware what the Bx meant either! Small update today.

The veg tent, despite the low temps, is looking nice. Got a few slow pokes, one Tesla that just doesn't want to grow for me, but the rest are doing awesome in my book. The plant in the back corner is a Super Sour Lime from Dusted Bud that I just confirmed as a girl. Right below that is a Critical + girl, to the right of that in Ziploc bags are Critical + clones I took today, taking a page from SweetSue's book and locking the moisture in. The two bigger ones on the right are Kali AK at the top and a nice Ultra Dog below that. Bottom left is another Super Sour Lime which I just confirmed a bit ago is also a girl. The stretchy thing dead center is a Jamaican Trainwreck hybrid of some sort. Looking like it will be a girl, but waiting on some pistils. The node spacing is not tight at all with this Jamaican strain. Bottom middle are a Jack Herer and a Blueberry, my last Blueberry seed that I had a chance with and it struggled but seems to be coming along! Fingers crossed.

In bloom we have S.Lime Cookies that's on the other side of Cat Drench. I seemed to get some curly tips and faded edges after the Cat, not sure what that's about, but she is fine other than that.

On the other side of the bloom tent we have Ultra Dog which refuses to stretch and two Critical + girls. Things are doing alright it seems. Have to figure out how to get temps up in the veg area. I could always add more light, but that's expensive and I should have the needed PPFD for the area, so I am going to try some heater options. Thanks for stopping by!

The Ultra Dawg won't stretch the way the others will, at least that's my understanding. As I write that I look over at my own who looks ready to make a vertical leap, so maybe I'll hold off on saying that. :laughtwo:

Your garden's coming along nicely. :high-five:

Thanks Sue! I am getting more comfortable with the kit and things seem to be going quite a bit better for me. Still a ways to go though.

Brixnewb,
I am in the same boat as you as far low temps in tent. I don't know how your fan/filter is setup but, I was running it where the fan exhausts out of tent to draw air in through various ports or ducts. Circulating/unsealed/negative pressure setups. I changed mine back to recirculating/sealed. The fan filter exhausts into tent and works as an air scrubber. Temps changed from 70-71 to 77-78. Using the lights heat to my advantage. I do have to watch my humidity. I am testing that now. Running 6 cobs and 300 watt panel led.

Thanks for that bud, I actually had a small heater laying around and I put it outside the tent facing an intake vent and it is working perfectly!

Subbed in for your brix grow! Plants look great!

Welcome along man. I am just starting to get a good grip on the kit and feeling better about my plants and whatnot. I am a slow learner, but the kit has always done me well ever since I started. Hoping to have some awesome genetics in the garden here soon and some CBD strains to enjoy in a few months.

So I have been busy in the garden attempting to keep things humming along. I have changed up the cloning method a little bit and have put my clones in Ziploc bags to keep the moisture up and it seems to be working amazingly well. I got this from SweetSue and while the Ziplocs do the trick, I think I am going to use produce bags because they aren't as rigid as the Ziplocs. I believe that's what she is using.

The Lucy Cruz plants that were stalled are starting to make a comeback. I am going to keep one for sure and see if the other one cuts the mustard or not. Beyond that there are a bunch of little guys in the garden, I have a Jack Herer and Blueberry plant that are doing well. I had planted two Super Sour Lime beans and they both turned out to be female, so that was exciting. The Jamaican strain doesn't seem like a keeper, still in veg the node spacing is miles apart, not sure it will be a good fit for me. Still deciding whether I will flower it out or not.

In bloom the S.Lime Cookies girl is cruising along to the finish line. I just put a Kali AK that I got from Tead into flower today after taking some clones off of her. She has the sativa leaf shape but is a massive little bush! Gave her bottom half a nice little trimming. The damn Ultra Dog in bloom doesn't seem to have stretched at all. It's another bush, she is just starting to stack those pistils. Then there are some Crit+ girls in there, also from Tead.

That's about it in my world. I would join you guys more often on here, but my internet access can be a bit limited at times. Maybe one day soon I will be back with some pictures for you guys! Thanks for riding along.

Flower that Jamaican! I know the node spacing seems like a negative but it will fill in in flower. I just pulled a little over 6 oz from one and that was going from a 1 gallon to a 10 and flipping. I suggest topping all the tops right when you pull the trigger on flowering, it will control the stretch and increase yield. Both my Jamaicans are worth running again. Sometimes the best ones aren't the best looking. :high-five:

I don't think we are talking about the same strain though. These seeds were from some bud we got when you guys weren't along for the ride. I will see. If my contact doesn't want to take it I will flower it out. If he takes it then he flowers it out and hopefully I will get to try it anyway.

Small update, just kind of took pictures of all the girls in the tents. Veg tent is humming along. Small one in the back is a Jamaican Trainwreck cross, on either side of her we have Dusted Buds Super Sour Lime with Ultra Dog in the front right. The other UD I have had absolutely no stretch so I am letting this one really get some legs under her before the flip. Hopefully she doesn't run outta steam. The two plants front and center that are looking decent are the Lucy Cruz plants that had stalled on me. The one in the front is still lagging behind, but the one in the middle of the group of nine really got with the program. I am hoping that it turns out to be a female. Then around that we have Chem Blazzin, from Jack Herer and Blueberry, one Tesla and another bean which is a CBD mix I forget the name.

In this picture we have that S.Lime Cookies really looking rough. She is still chugging along though. Hoping to see her fatten up a bit. On side of her are two Crit+ girls.

DSC_0002163.JPG

Back left here we have Kali AK which is a hell of a bush, have to get a better picture, but she is really rocking. On side of her is Ultra Dog just starting to make buds and then up front we have another Crit+.

Wow! Your Ultra Dawgs look as amazing as mine! Excellent work Brix. :high-five: Feels good to have things humming along again, doesn't it? Don't worry about the appearance of the wounded girl. She'll make it to harvest. We don't grow them for the leaves, although that specimen did take a beating, didn't she? I've done worse and come out with something worthwhile to show for it in the end. I have great faith in your ability to have S. Lime Cookies get to the finish line with a product that'll make you smile.

I have a Thin Mint GSC that smells more like chocolate every day. Does your girl smell strongly of lime? That suggests a wonderful, cerebral buzz ahead. :slide:
