That's kind of the drag about introducing a new strain to the sea... it just takes so long to get the genetic train going. Ya gotta get the clones going... then get clones from them before you bloom anything. In the end, you gotta wait forever before you find out if it's even decent smoke. All the cloning and vegging work goes down the tubes if it's not great smoke. I've got 2 different lines of sub-par UDs working their way out of my garden now, but that represents like 20% or 30% of my garden resources. You get the idea.

Oh I completely get the idea. My grow isn't that much different than yours, so having to grow three generations before you know if it's a worthwhile strain is a pain in the ass.
 
That Jamaican dark will be fun to watch. You figure the lows while we were in Jamaica were like 73 degrees so that should have no problem turning colors with your lows.

I talked to a customer today about Jamaica, told him about my currency exchange adventure. He laughed and said it happened to him too. I still don't know how he did it.

I am excited to see it do it's thing. The node spacing isn't spectacular, but we will see how it turns out.

I actually talked with our host about it after it happened because I felt terrible about it happening to you. He said it's a very common scam. What they do is take your money, count out the right amount of Jamaican and hand it to you. Then they take it back for some reason and while they have it back they use sleight of hand to peel off a couple of bills and then hand it back to you and take off.
 
... or learn the skill yourself over the next year and pull it on THEM. :laugh:
 
Wouldn't that be a nice thing to do? I am more inclined to just bust some knee caps, but that's me.

I have been away, life has been a little hectic lately, but the garden is still doing as well as ever. Hopefully I will be back before long.
 
Alright, so tonight I did a bit of work around the garden, and took down Blue Dream #3. I got a farewell shot from her before I hacked her up.

Man... I got a shitload of BD4 clones coming up thru the ranks. Some just starting bloom. She's an easy cloning strain.
I chopped BD4 the other day. She had reverted to veg in the daylight, but I clipped her down before the buds got too spread out. Been smoking on her some, but she never really matured.... probably use her remains for some sort of extract.
The UDs have really been easy clones in my world too.
 
Nice! I actually just threw that Ultra Dog female into flower, don't really have time to do any cloning right now, so I just flipped her over. Still working on the UD male clones for you, we will see how those go!

Today I am chopping Blue Dream #5 and just put Blue Dream #3 into jars. Not much to say, hope to get some pictures soon. Have 2 Devils Carnival girls in bloom, these things are really getting interesting now that they have gone into bloom. Northern Lights will be the next thing to come down, she has about 3 weeks left on the clock. Got some things kicking around in veg, but nothing too interesting just yet.
 
You sure make them prettier than I do Tead! I actually just took some down, so next time I head over I will bring some so you can do a side-by-side.
 
Ok, so not a ton to show lately. In bloom we have a rough looking, super frosty Northern Lights that has about 2 weeks left. Then we have an Ultra Dog that is starting to push out pistils.

I do have two little gems that are sisters and they are really funky! They are none other than Devil's Carnival by Nismo and Canna Montana. The older of the girls is a green pheno. This one surprised me when I brushed against her and she let out this lemon lime funky storm headed straight to my nose. Man, what a hit!

Then there is her sister, #2 I like to call her. I haven't really paid any attention to how she smells because I cannot get over how she looks!

Funny you should mention that. :laugh: I scrolled up from the bottom and the first thing I saw was the bottom pic and I audibly went "Oooo". Then I see your comment. Yeah! There's just something about it, isn't there? Gonna be alluring when she fills out, huh. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I gotta finagle me some of those DCs. :Love:

Yeah buddy! One pheno have the visuals, the other has the scentuals!

As for the DCs I am sure there would be a way to get some into your garden somehow....

First off it's great to see you back around here instead of having to hunt you down. Just a shame that I don't have more time to visit since you been back. Hopefully within another month or two things will be back to normal.

She is super pretty. The best looking plant I have grown yet. Hopefully I can keep her pretty!
 
I am a terrible journaler right now guys, this I know. I have taken down Northern Lights, classic smoke, reviews for it are decent, nothing spectacular, but not too bad either. Currently I have two Devils Carnival girls going, one purple pheno, one green pheno. The smells coming off those two are AMAZING! I was also gifted an Ultra Dog clone (or maybe it was a seed) from the awesome Tead and that girl is about a month into bloom and kicking out some amazing terps as well. Not much going on in the veg room except some clones, waiting on new soil to cook before I put more seeds down. Thanks for stopping by and riding along, hopefully in about a month I will have more to show you guys.
