Cali Connection Chem 91 Sk Va
Still the best Chem 91 that I've grown. Hadn't grown it for couple of years & paid attention to grow a real good plant to compare. After recently growing Top Dawg Star 91, Dinafem DinaChem, & Loud Headband......all featuring Chem 91, can now say that the CC Chem 91 is better than the others. Easy call at that. The others were fine, but not up to the CC Chem 91. In potency, character, & just all around better. Loud's version would be 2nd....much better than either the Top Dawg or Dinafem, but still a ways behind the Cali version. No BS or exaggeration....this shit is serious strong. Lit up a bowl sitting in a pitch black house during a scheduled electrical outage......a friend calls, he links up another person......I'm really too f**ked up to even talk, borderline incoherent, let them do most of the talking....seriously. Don't get that way often but can still happen. Lol.
What's up in flower?
Just for fun I planted seeds for a Christmas 2017 sprout......all sprouted on 12/25 or 12/26. Ended up vegging longer at 54 days because I was patiently waiting for a Pisces Polaris (Chem 91 x Deathstar) to get going. Had to scrap her at 14 days due to low vigor & growth.....alive but not enough going to keep damnit. She was replaced with an Oni Sour Papaya......my 1st Oni strain. Oni used the Rez Sour Diesel. Into 12/12 when the Sour Papaya hit 40 days.
No early freaks blowing out mega frost early but steady & even on the frost front. Flowers don't seem that big for mid flower.....but I think that every time, hahaha. Uneventful even keeled flowering so far.....the way I like it. Only issue has been some magnesium shortages.......as a group this batch are hungry mag gluts. Got serious fast......even to the point of some dying upturned, curly queque large fan tips. A few consecutive epsom salt applications remedied the problem......but "lost" 3-5 days of rapid development in week 4. Damnit again.....lost time in flower can't be made up imo.....their genetic clocks are running & can't be stopped or delayed.
Will post the complete strain list soon. Always a couple of high percentage sativas in every run, always 2 strains that I've grown previously. The rest are generally new. This pic is Silver Pie......it shows about where they're at right now at 30 days flower.

Good info on the 91. Thats great to know the wife and i have an anniversary coming up and good to know what chem to get. thank you. Garden us looking wonderful.
Pics and strains have just been ridiculous, and that jungle is looking mighty fine. 
New stuff sounds like something I'd like...Sour Papaya, hell yeah! I'm just grinning at that 91, she's a helluva nice looking copy. Prob smoke better than those sexy ass nugs you posted on the last page. Her mother's sister devours more Mg than anything else I've grown, by a huge margin. 
I prefer growing from seed, but I also want to know what I'm getting for a smoke. So some of this, some of that.

Asalways i appreciate the opinion. I might pick upthis Chem on another occasion, but for now it seems another seed dropis coming to my door.
Thanks for the tip on the Chem... I had a good one just pulled her... Grow room close up and filters going, my room is on the 3rd floor. Last night we were walking the dogs about 10pm... dark and quiet. We get a 1/2 a block from our house and bam... I can smell her.
"Can you smell that?" my wife says... "yeah I can smell that for sure".... shit everything is closed up and filters running. I chopped her down... pronto this am. She was finished @ 68 days.
That Chem 9, man she looks really good. How long after pic was harvest??

well you just gave cali connection some of my business... That plant looks incredible... Out of curiousity. Will you be running any dominion seed company genetics in the future? Ive got my eye on their sis skunk for my wife... Heavy narcotic supposedly... Its chemdog sister x (skelly hashplant x sssc skunk 1) if i recall that correctly...
Also ive got one of my girls, shes got some fan leaves that are curling down and crisping/dying at the tips... if you had a chance to swing by my journal id appreciate an opinion as to what might be going on so i can try to fix it ahead of time on the next go. Too far along now im just going to let it ride to the end.

I got some freebies from Dominion....I think it was their Skush strain. Haven't run it yet....probably going to be a while to get to it!

Mg hunger starting ~week 4-5....then K hunger ~week 5-6 has become expected. Pounding away with calcium & phosphorus in bloom pushes me right up to antagonism level with mag & K.

I'll keep looking at other 91 based strains but this one is still is my favorite.
Pic at 69 days. Harvest next day at 70 days 12/12. Have harvested same strain indoors at 65 days & 77 days.....like the 65-70 window best.
Welcome Pjs420. Happy to have you join us. Make yourself at home. No experience with Dominion Seeds. See them on SHN.....Skunk specialists w/ some nice crosses & gorgeous pics. Will try to get over to check out what you have going.
You have the same problem I have haha.....forgetting what you have & how to get to all of them. I look at my strain list/inventory when tempted to buy. Works sometimes but not guaranteed by a long shot.

I knew I'd like that Oni, she's looking fly af. The Silver Pie too, IHG strains always seem to show well. What a great strain selection too, something for everyone.
I'm supplementing Mg at twice the normal rate in Veg, and in flower I have to hit her in huge chunks, every other feed, weeks 3-5 as to not push out others constantly. Fairly mobile, so I figure she can move it. I'll know I've gone too far, when I see Ca spots, or other diffs. Still learning where the edges are. That genetic seems to have us boxed in, not much room for error Ca:Mg
:K. I may try upping my pH on that specific plant to see if it will reduce the need to supplement Mg as much. More available and less leaching, I'm thinking it might help. I run them hungry so they're fairly high pH anyway, but I'll have to feed her more at 6.6 so it may just balance out around 6.7 to 6.8 in the medium. Usual is 6.35 inputs, but underfeeding pushing pH in the medium to 6.8 so it should be fine.

your garden is beautiful bl wow you and a few other growers i see set the bar for all of us to reach there all frost machines but that sour papaya has peaked my interest great job on those girls!
