They are as high as they can go, but at full power. Dim them by 20%?If the lights are too low or too intense the plant tends to foxtail like yours.

You could but there's really no point. The quality won't be affected by the foxtailing it's just something to be aware of next time so you can make adjustments. They are as high as they can go, but at full power. Dim them by 20%?
Thanks Mr. S. I did read that when you posted it (and again just now) and thought I had signs of foxtailing then! That’s when I decided to flip to 14/10. I will leave things as they are. Hurry up and ripen! You could but there's really no point. The quality won't be affected by the foxtailing it's just something to be aware of next time so you can make adjustments.
Here's an article I did a little while ago on foxtailiing.
The Sauga Ends Here
Nice roots there Mr S! Even though it's small enough, I'm sad about the fabric pot that my plant's in because I can't just pop her out to check the roots! I never seem to be around clear solo cups or could never justify the cost, but the trick is planting them in clear solo cups and setting...www.420magazine.com
Thanks! I don’t see them either and then all of a sudden, whoa! I wanted to get closer to that guy but he was giving me the stink eye and I was worried he might jump at me! There must have been an egg sac that hatched a month or so ago because I’ve seen babies, then teens, and now adults all over my flowers. One of my favorite insects. It's amazing how they blend in with a plant. I never see them until someone points them out. Great shot.
Here she is with the final coat on the inside. Where would you suggest the holes and what size? I don't think I will need a massive amount of air circulation but I do want to be prepared if I decide to throw one plant in to finish up a grow....but I could be wrong! That's a nice cabinet! You might add some vent holes to let some air in and out, but it doesn't need much else.
Your playhouse is sweet!
If it were mine, I'd have a couple of 1-1/2"- 2" holes down at the bottom (just above the floor) through the rear wall so they don't show- and a 3" or 4" hole in the "ceiling ". I'd add a little usb fan to the top hole, to pull fresh air through the box 24/7.Where would you suggest the holes and what size?
If those are the same strain they are completely different phenotypes, which explains why one is in flower and the other is thinking about it.Here are a couple of the big gal and side by side.
I like the supercrop knuckles!I like the "trifecta" look of it.
Foxtailing is also genetic, so if there are no other signs of light stress I wouldn't change a thing. The other one is foxtailing and is usually a sign of light stress.
Do you mean 10/14? Light hours traditionally come first (like 24/0 or 18/6).flip to 14/10
Very Good suggestions! I wanted to take the top shelf out but I fear it will mess with the integrity of the piece, so holes are good. I planned to put a second shelf in there so I will make it slightly thinner for air flow purposes. I finally got the door aligned so it shuts easier and I can lock it if I want to....so airflow will be good. Once the paint has dried for a couple of days I will go back and caulk the inside (and maybe the outside if I have caulk left), and then holes, etc! Thanks so much for your input.Nice paint job- looks nice n reflective!

I'd also add a couple of holes to the shelf- otherwise (it looks like) the shelf will cut off most of the bottom to top airflow when the door is closed.
The fan is optional- not really necessary unless you put a larger plant in there.
Without the fan, the heat from your light will keep the air flowing - it just won't flow as much without a little fan pulling it out at the top.
Lots of ways to do it, but that's what I'd do...
Thank you.The babies look terrific, as to the flowering girls.
Whew! I'm glad I'm not just seeing things. I need to understand what phenotypes are and how you can get different ones from the same purchase...does that make sense? If those are the same strain they are completely different phenotypes, which explains why one is in flower and the other is thinking about it

Yes. 10 hours of light and 14 of darkness. Sorry!Do you mean 10/14? Light hours traditionally come first (like 24/0 or 18/6)
Yep! I like to do everything the hard way Shed! Ugh. At least I'm learning...I think. So, they are at full power, turn them down to 80%?Bug bites and light stress? Are those only on the top leaves?
Seems reasonable!
Kyle can help with that.Whew! I'm glad I'm not just seeing things. I need to understand what phenotypes are and how you can get different ones from the same purchase...does that make sense?
Thanks so much VG. I hope you are feeling better. One day at a time. Right now it is pouring down rain, lightening and thundering. This is a test for her. I'm tired of jumping thru hoops every day for that plant. I may cull her tomorrow...Kyle can help with that.
I think that video was acceptable to keep in your journal btw. Nice quick vid and he was really enjoyable to listen to.Kyle can help with that.
