Boo’s Perpetual Grow Journal

Here are the pics that went with the effed up posts on the previous page, I accidentally deleted them while having some "technical" issues.

They are as high as they can go, but at full power. Dim them by 20%?
You could but there's really no point. The quality won't be affected by the foxtailing it's just something to be aware of next time so you can make adjustments.
Here's an article I did a little while ago on foxtailiing.

Thanks Mr. S. I did read that when you posted it (and again just now) and thought I had signs of foxtailing then! That’s when I decided to flip to 14/10. I will leave things as they are. Hurry up and ripen! :thanks:

Here are a couple of pics from the day. The new babies got 1/2 of the recommended amount of Dyna Grow Foliage today. Their leaves were a little cupped this morning - I think it's a little cool in the basement. So, I let them warm up outside all day and I think I will leave them. They seem very happy outside. They both have very large leaves.

Hope everyone is well!!

It's amazing how they blend in with a plant. I never see them until someone points them out. Great shot.
Thanks! I don’t see them either and then all of a sudden, whoa! I wanted to get closer to that guy but he was giving me the stink eye and I was worried he might jump at me! There must have been an egg sac that hatched a month or so ago because I’ve seen babies, then teens, and now adults all over my flowers. One of my favorite insects.

That's a nice cabinet! You might add some vent holes to let some air in and out, but it doesn't need much else.
Your playhouse is sweet!
Here she is with the final coat on the inside. Where would you suggest the holes and what size? I don't think I will need a massive amount of air circulation but I do want to be prepared if I decide to throw one plant in to finish up a grow....but I could be wrong!

Nice paint job- looks nice n reflective!
Where would you suggest the holes and what size?
If it were mine, I'd have a couple of 1-1/2"- 2" holes down at the bottom (just above the floor) through the rear wall so they don't show- and a 3" or 4" hole in the "ceiling ". I'd add a little usb fan to the top hole, to pull fresh air through the box 24/7.
I'd also add a couple of holes to the shelf- otherwise (it looks like) the shelf will cut off most of the bottom to top airflow when the door is closed.
The fan is optional- not really necessary unless you put a larger plant in there.
Without the fan, the heat from your light will keep the air flowing - it just won't flow as much without a little fan pulling it out at the top.
Lots of ways to do it, but that's what I'd do...

The babies look terrific, as do the flowering girls. :thumb:
Here are a couple of the big gal and side by side.
If those are the same strain they are completely different phenotypes, which explains why one is in flower and the other is thinking about it.
I like the "trifecta" look of it.
I like the supercrop knuckles!
The other one is foxtailing and is usually a sign of light stress.
Foxtailing is also genetic, so if there are no other signs of light stress I wouldn't change a thing.
flip to 14/10
Do you mean 10/14? Light hours traditionally come first (like 24/0 or 18/6).

Very Good suggestions! I wanted to take the top shelf out but I fear it will mess with the integrity of the piece, so holes are good. I planned to put a second shelf in there so I will make it slightly thinner for air flow purposes. I finally got the door aligned so it shuts easier and I can lock it if I want to....so airflow will be good. Once the paint has dried for a couple of days I will go back and caulk the inside (and maybe the outside if I have caulk left), and then holes, etc! Thanks so much for your input. :Namaste:

Thank you.

Whew! I'm glad I'm not just seeing things. I need to understand what phenotypes are and how you can get different ones from the same purchase...does that make sense?

I found it (them) today. Before you say "wtf" these plants are tucked up inside my tent WITH the extension on it and are 12" away from the light. Okay - turn them down?

Yes. 10 hours of light and 14 of darkness. Sorry!

Kyle can help with that.
