Bluter's Happy Home For Hilarious Hempsters

Hey has anyone run hempy buckets larger than 5 gallons? Thinking about going 10 or 15 gallon this round.

a number of folk have. indoor bucket size maxes at about 5 gallon. any bigger and the the plant will be too large to run indoor. 7 plus foot high plants.

outdoor hempy bucket sizes start at the 5 gallon size. from there the only limit is what size you place on them.

That is some los i mixed up for outdoors. 60 gallon tote. Was trying to minimize the mess with up potting hempy 5 gallon buckys to the 12 gall. Used everything. Tarps bathtubs all of it. But still crunchy barefoot in certain areas of the adobe.

are you running the big hempys outdoor ?

should check out what @FelipeBlu can do in an outdoor hempy. he gets as many zips from one plant as i do in two long grows a year.

you're gonna get tree trunks on them lol

you might not get to capitalize on the total bucket volume indoors.
what size is the tent ?

Naw indoor. Why you ask?

felipe does massive plants in that size or less outdoor. he got so much he's taking a year off.

four 5L (1 gal ) will fill a 4 x 4. i ran five 5L buckets and wound up way overgrown for a 4 x 4.

it all depends on veg time and when you flip. you'll never use the capacity of those buckets indoor. you'll be using more feed / water than you'd require and be tossing enough unused perlite at the end for another full grow.

you're increasing your input costs with no hope of a return for the amount of area you have for a canopy.

I have always run 2 to 5 gallon buckets in the 4 by 4 and never had a case of any unused perlite left over. The reason i went bigger is a couple of reasons. One is my roomie will only have to feed them once while i am on vacation and the other is i suspect that they will indeed fill the 12 gallon totes by the time the grow is over. Going to find out here in a couple of months. Not really using more water and nutes at the moment but that may change in the ensuing weeks.
