Bluter's Happy Home For Hilarious Hempsters

currently in shock...
did the big chop to get ready for quad type training..

have never attempted anything this aggressive

have topped and done lst on side branches. lollipopped and caged way more established plants.
nothing like this though..

even hit the mutie hard in an attempt to get it under control

no idea on what is with the holes. thought something was munching on the leaves. been all over them with a loupe and came up with squat. still not convinced. will see if anything else happens.

everything needs to rebound and grow for a few days before starting the tie down.

the only one that escaped was stunty..

for the time being....

the current carnage

let everything grow a bit later than some would start. root zone is well established tho, and the main stalks are pretty thick.

let's see what happens.... :)
Good things will happen...and you will be all "why didn't I do this before"

heya friend,,

very interesting reading your progress from seed to final pot. i seem to have such a problem with the seedling stage. talking all hempy of course

i am a relative recent convert to hempie and still have not nailed much of the technique, and especially the seedling stage. i would say the stage from sprout breaking the surface to up pot stage gives me the most problems

i do just like you, in solos etc,, but my watering during this stage seems to hold me back. i am never sure whether i am under watering or over watering. and my seedling pay the price.

i have a solo hempy reservoir like you, tho lower, and i am not sure if i leave it filled each watering or drain it most out. you seem to leave it filled?

and i was interested to read your ferting sched, along the process. i will be upping my fert a bit quicker, tho minuscule still

two q's if i might,,

do you fert 'every' watering? and how often do you water?

i also have a trifector plant,, this as a wee one,,

P1170670.JPG

i don't use the rockwool anymore,, this plant, a 'cheese' is much bigger now and near ready for flower.

ph another big issue for me,, workin on it,, i am ph,ing to 5.9 now,, trying to rid myself of early fan leaf yellowing. i had meter issues which messed me up, still trying to work myself back. quite a challenge indeed

will be watching, and reading,, cheers friend

a pic of my trifector now,, got off me butt,, ha

P1170681.JPG

btw,, i might suggest your one plant that had some damage to the leaf,, i might suggest that during an earlier spray episode, with who knows what,, a misting or foliar feed, that some of the mixture might have gotten conglomerated inside a tiny plant top and stuck things up at the earliest stage of growth, way down in there, and as it grows out, the damage becomes clearer.

it happens to me when i get a bug hit, which can happen and does happen to me,, aaargh, i hit it hard with every spray in my arsenal, which is a few,,right away, everything close,, and i see huge damage from it,, yours a much smaller example. just a thot. i get em once in a while

cheers again friend,,

easiest way to water a solo hempy is hold your thumb over the hole and fill till the perlite floats.
on a solo i put the hole about an inch from the bottom

have a great christmas nivek. pop by anytime.

Merry Christmas my Perlite hoarding friend. May your white fluffy buckets bring you green and frosty love every 3 months or so.

Grow on!

how's the christmas garden baron ?

doing some last minute stuff here. update soon.

have a great christmas.
Shes very close to choppity....:nervous-guy:

heya friend,,

i have been reading and rereading this thread quite a bit lately.

i am doing a bunch of experimenting with my sprouting and solo cup stage of the hempy process. i am very much lacking in this area

i have been reading this thread because it documents clearly the early development of the plant. and your results seem fairly consistent and one can't complain about the growth you get

i have been trying to clearly decipher your feeding schedule etc and i am surprised about how much you feed, but i figure if a plant is ph'd correctly, it drinks a lot, and eats a lot too.

looking forward to an update friend,, happy new year to ya,,

cheers :volcano-smiley:

time to update now with the holidays winding down.

the quad style training has been kicking my ass. most have been turned in to tri-lines :p
basic shapes are getting there though. found working in hempy buckets and having to tie direct to the sides a bit harsh.

this northern lights threw an extra node at the top. kept it as i lost one of the mains.

lost a couple branch sites getting these things tied down as well. the mains have pretty much all hit the sides, and the stalks are built.

this one turned out much better so far
hoping i can recover some of the lost growth. the training has definitely knocked them back a couple weeks.

i haven't had to drop them for the light with them being tied for two weeks. not used to that at all.

they've got to be fairly back built by now. i tied the mains up with the larger fans for support as they branched to the sides. this lsd main split at the stalk on me after tying...

left the fan in for support of the branch. not sure if it's going to be able to support much going forward.

cleaned up and tied down the mutant tangie as best i could

it was real wound together and wanted to split the main stalk at first. hence the electrical tape fix. the tape will probably be coming off in the next week or so. the center main got topped, hoping for some branching to work off.

all tied up..

they look kinda sad. everyone is healthy though. hope stuff picks up, am looking forward to see where we get.

i've bumped to 1.3g MC / L ro - 4.9g / gallon after the conversion. sitting right around 1000 ppm.
noticed they were beginning to pull from some of the lower fans before i trimmed them and bumped the feed.

They will all recover and the tape job will scar up, no worries. They dont look sad at all. I imagine you will be relieved to see them the next day as they will no doubt rebound. Those stalk bases are super thick!

I can see where hempy peeps will have their problems with quadlining, perlite doesnt have the holding force.

i got better at it as i went along. think it's more a matter of developing the right technique to tie them.
probably will try it again on other grows depending on how i feel this winds up.

 super late to this grow but better late than never.

pop in any time

maybe update later tonight. i am getting sucker punched on the training.
gonna take care of the plants and eat perogies and cabbage rolls

How did you know I am ukranian. Not fair send some this way. Probably homemade too.
both yes .. oddly as i rarely have homemade stuff. christmas gifts. actually asked for lasagna lol... :laughtwo:
the perogies are frozen. i boil then fry usually. heart attack approach. cabbage rolls are a reheat in the mic. we had a crock pot full at christmas dinner. dammit now i'm real hungry, but have to work on the plants first hahahaha

i'm not ukrainian myself lol.
where i grew up and live is heavily influenced by ukrainain, polish, and german heritage.
