Bluter's Happy Home For Hilarious Hempsters

I've heard of people growing under 12/12 with autos just was wondering if the yields are affected at all under less than 18 hours.
The 3 I'm growing now are under 600w of led, mars hydro sp3000. Would it be possible with what I'm running without losing yield/weight ?

in those buckets you're gonna need all 600 watts. you could try pulling it back, you won't lose weight probably, but the potency will suffer.

i technically grow micro plants. they just produce well. the plants are smaller, but they support a cola that's larger than an equivalent soil bucket size.

you've kinda taken the idea and macro'd lol..
you can do hempy bigger for sure, it's only passive hydro.. but it will get monster. that means you need the space. light , etc to support it.

a lot of what i do is in the jump from veg to flower light. i gain 3 times. it's a real old school thing to do. works the same in led as hid etc.

a lot of times i run a diminishing light schedule in flower. especially with photos. 12/12 , 11/13, 10/14 to finish.

Yea, the M3 e30 is super rare now, they go for a pretty penny in the UK aswell. I've seen them sell for silly money.
The 325i is rare aswell. A lot of folk here buy them over the M3. What's the bhp on them as standard ? 167 bhp. It's a 2.5L ?

yeah like 170 out of the box. it's just linear and handles nuts. i'm gaining a bit with the mods but it's not gonna net a pile. i'm stayin n/a.

your car is a guppy with the later eyebrows. nice colour.

edit : we got nothing like that. they didn't even sell base cars here. focus only.

The plants are under 20/4 at the moment, I'll probably run that until harvest. What I normally do is run 1 light until a couple of weeks into flower then turn the other on and run both until harvest. Helps to keep the bills down slightly without depriving them of too much light.
I was thinking more for in the future as the price of electric in the uk is going up by 53% next month but if it's going to affect yield or potency i would rather just keep it as is until i have the funds to buy something else. I did have 3 sp3000 led lights that would have brought it up to 900watts but sold one a few months back to my mate as needed the extra cash over Xmas.

I might give growing micro plants a go, would I be right in thinking that I would be better with photos if growing micro plants ?

I like growing big plants lol if I was to say grow one plant in the 4x4 and try make it a monster with hempy what would be the best method to achieve something like that ?

Is there any tutorials on what your doing on the forum so that I can have a read and try to better understand ?

For a car that was produced in the late 80's with 170+ bhp it's impressive. I had the civic type r that was n/a think in the US they sold as the rsx type s or type r. I loved the n/a engine in the type r especially that noise of vtec crossover. Had to really cane the engine to get the best out of it, part of what made it more engaging to drive.

once autos turn you can run them 18/6 to cut back. i'm running mine 12/12 under the big light,

a pair of those is probably going to do it for a 4 x 4. it's a bit hard to say. they are my last choice in lighting.

they are easier to manipulate.

one 5 gal hempy photo in 4 x4 scrogged out and vegged would do it. takes a long time though.

not really. there's nothing to see. once in to flower you just roll the light sched back every couple wks. it's quite common on straight up sativas. i've had some with 120 day flower times. it cuts a couple wks out.

The lights were enitially on 18/6 but changed them to 20/4.

I enitially bought the third light for when I was going to grow up the loft but that backfired so never used the extra light. Could have probably done with using it in the 8x4 tent but thats another thing ill probably never use again. The sp3000 got really good reviews compared to some higher end led lights on the market at the time. The lights I looked at were spider farmer, led sun and Mars Hydro the sp3000 were one of the best lights mars hydro sold at the time

I might give it a try in the future and see if I can grow a monster plant in the 4x4. I want to grow photo's at some point. Just need to try use up some of my seed collection I have at the moment lol

Thanks again for the info and taking the time to reply. I appreciate it bluter

wow. i just opened up some 2 yr cured northern lights cbd to make my mom topicals
the aroma alone is euphoria. i might even smoke some lol

oh yeah ..

This was mines.

forgot to add i like your car. i love angry little cars. it would have been impossible to separate it from me in your circumstance. i woulda bought her a mini-van. and either common commuted or got a beater to get to work.

i got 2 - 3 cars tilted in my name at any given point. but we shuffle in the family, depending on how cheap it is to insure ... a bunch are usually my crap lol :)

sadly i've only got a junky jetta in my own driveway .. that's what we call it, the others are elsewhere.

It's either northern lights or dos si dos I'm growing next. Got 6 NL and 3 dos si dos there.
Not made my mind up what to grow first.

At first i kind of grudged trading the car in knowing how much money and work went into it mechanically to get it to what it was at and I could of got a lot more for it if I sold it privately or took it to a specialist that only deals in highly modified, performanced cars but was getting bored of the fiesta and the car I have now i got at another dealership for a reasonable price to trade in the fiesta. As much as I like my cars i end up changing them every 2 or 3 years as I start to get bored of them easily and having two or more cars isn't really viable for me as I have nowhere else to keep a second one

i love the northern lights thc version. that and skunk. both were bc staples for a long time. it's super tough to get the real deal now with all the breeding. i still kinda know folk back out there from my snowboard days that would likely help me out.

i grew the cbd version as lark. i was looking for a 1:1 as i use a fair amount of them and it fit the bill. i'm not real sure you could call it northern lights. it has to have the cbd bred in, how can it be that close ? there's a lot of naming conventions used in the industry now that i'm not so square with.

i got some serious funny stories about skunk. just the name alone should inform you of at least 50%. :cheesygrinsmiley:

everyone was after me for NL and skunk when i was boarding. sigh. i'm so fucking old lol ... :p

i'll pm you to continue.

@bluter , I'm about to give your VG infusion a try, maybe this weekend.

I noticed you don't add any lecithin to it like is done in Sue's Instant Pot thread. Any reason not to? The lecithin is not supposed to taste very good, so maybe that's one reason.

lecithin is more for an oil capsule. i don't use it for either.

The breeder of the NL I have here at the moment is RQS
(royal queen seeds) never used them before but have been wanting to try their seeds.
Says their NL auto is around 14% thc, 80% indica 20% rudarelis. Big yielders.

Only cbd I've ever grown was a 1:1 white widow from dutch passion. That was a good plant, produced nice big tight solid buds and was still quite potent for being a cbd strain.
If you like your cbd strains I recommend you give dutch passions a try.

would really have to know whats in the background.

northern lights was one of the last of the huge non-commercialized strains. by that i mean pre any sort of legal industry. so it was basically bred and popularized by outlaws. the original strains and genes they used to get there have mostly been lost. so most replications are kind of an 'homage', and not the real northern lights.

i have one super high cbd low thc strain waiting in the wings and i may never grow it lol

i pretty much stick to 1:1 strains, as they've been proven effective for most of what i do. i have the high cbd only strain in case i need to produce for an underage minor. it might prove useful in topicals as well.

should probably add i haven't grown any cbd in two grows or more now. cbd plants produce better than most.

Yea I think their NL will be more homage to the original than actual genetics.

The cbd I grew was ok but not my cup of tea but 2 or 3 of my mates liked it and quite enjoyed the mellow high compared the full thc purple punch and blueberry cheese strains I had grown.

Definitely depends on what your growing needs are i suppose and if your growing for others. Most of my mates don't smoke for medicinal purposes and just want to get baked. Myself on the other hand I prefer a milder high, something that's more mellow and not too hard hitting but not too sedating either to the point I feel like I'm part of the sofa but it needs to be able to help me sleep.
The LSD I'm growing now probably isn't a strain for me as its a high thc strain but one or two of my mates are buzzing trying it. I reckon the NL I have there will be a bit more my thing.

If you're doing infusions, a straight up CBD plant can be super useful as it allows you to mix and match with a high THC strain and get different end results based on your input percentages of each of the two.

Some may like or prefer more of one to the other, but by having two distinct profiles you can mix it custom for each.

hempys have been moving along. they got moved to the jungle room which makes it harder to update as often.
everyone's jumped above the hoops. they are well in to stretch.

the build is not impressing me yet. it's early but i think i might have missed the mark. they really run all sativa through and through. only the leaves show a hint of the hybrid.

super super open structure. the cages help promote it. little sativa puffballs everywhere. it's a wk under 12 / 12 and everyone popped a good 6 - 8 inches up. we dropped the floor twice. little buggers might run me out of head room.

they hit the shelves at 24 inches from the light. we're teasing them to hit the 18 inch, then they get the drop. when they stall at the last 18 inch that's where they stay to finish.

it's exactly the same in veg, the only difference being sticking at the last 18 inch mark in flower. it's a bit lazy but i know loads of folk who do it this way. super stress reducing on the grower and the plants really like it.

we mighta blew through a nute ask. i'm still assessing. the lower fans are getting pulled a bit harder than i wanted at this point.

full

you can see it clear there. it's a pk pull and attrition of leaves not supporting any branches. everyone is doing it.

full

everything under that first hoop is sacrificial. it's what i'd normally pull out on a 2 wk photo defol. i'm letting the plant rule them out this time because auto etc. . i removed the branching there so it's not supporting any flower. the plant will kinda go after that first. it's good to watch.

everything higher up is doing ok.

pops is liking the cage style. it's way easier to work with. i really should've have rolled a cage grow earlier in hempy.

we're running nutes a bit hot right now. i'm near ceiling, and adding mild boost. for autos we're hot. here forward i'm either holding the line on MC and just feathering the BE by a half gram, or cutting MC back and going all in on the booster.

look for the latter likely... :cheesygrinsmiley:

think i found the guest plant ..

got a mystery seed in the @Weed Seeds Express Express pack. and i think we may have found it.
kinda remember asking that it be in the same flower window if they threw me a guesstie .. then just forgot about it.

haha they got me .. one look at this a solid wk 1/2 in and i got stopped. first thought was mold / pest / holy-crap-what-did-i-do-now (?) obvious stuff ... but none of that checked. took a look.

some dark stuff in there. will have to keep an eye to see it if comes in purple.

Is that your dooms day bunker bluter or just surplus from when the pandemic hit.
Where's the toilet roll ? I heard that stuff is like hens teeth.

it's kinda my folks pantry / laundry room. it's just off my flower room. i run the veg space where i live.
it's across town which makes for a hilarious drive once in a while when i have to move the plants in my jetta.

edit : i was making that trip for a few years before legal too :p

I see the cage growing now . Interesting.

yup. top below node 5. lose node 1. keep 2 / 3 / 4. 2 and three come up the outside, 4 comes up the middle.
