Black African Magic (2), Cafe Racer and Malawi x Panama in SIP's

Most folks spend their lives dreading exams but now all we want to do is test, test, test! :ganjamon:

Beautiful boxes of buds, Chuckeye!

Everyone is tucked away in their jars

Final yield was >

Black African Magic - 152g
Black African Magic #2 - 140g
Malawi x Panama - 204g
Cafe Racer - 336g

For a total of 832g or 29.7oz or 1.9 lbs......

Last night I tested the Cafe Racer and was quite pleased with the results, But ;)

Cooking supper was a challenge, he, he..

Four different portions cooked four different ways, but I managed :yahoo:

BTW > second cook on a Char Griller Akorn Jr kamado grill.

My propane Broil King needed a complete rebuild so I decided to go back to charcoal, it's more work managing the fire/temp but my flavor of choice !

Cheers, eh ?

Great thread. Nice harvest. I have a couple cafe racer seeds a friend gave me I have been avoiding. Now I’ll have to try them.
Thanks @Tmik !

If your space is height challenged I would suggest topping and flipping to flower early.

And train sideways until at least 24" wide. I would still expect to do some super cropping to keep the height down ;)

IIRC mine was only 20" wide before I let her go.....

I didn't super crop on purpose to achieve as large/long as possible spears !

Cheers

Cross posted, looking for advice !

As many of you know I'm a die hard HID user !

But, my ballast has passed away and I'm due for two new tubes.

Thinking about investing that money into an appropriate sized bar light ;)

And finally quenching my curiously :yahoo:

I don't Need a Mega Watt monster but would like to come somewhat close to what my 600w HID was producing.

Currently looking at (@VIVOSUN ) VS FD 6500 (~$600) and the (@Mars Hydro ) FC-E4800 (~$490)...

Sponsors Gladly Accepted !

FYI > I plan to continue growing Sativa's but am actually looking at training methods to Reduce my yields !

Still in SIP's and 4 strains per grow in a 4' x 4' enclosure that expands to +5' x 5' if needed.

Comments appreciated !

Cheers

Flowering coverage is 2' x 2', I'd need 4 of them @ $150 Cdn 😆

Leaning towards the Mars Hydro !

I'm beginning to make over my 4 x 4 to have 4 @ViparSpectra XS1500 Pro lights. Each plant will have height adjustability and a dial as well for brightness. Have a look at these little giants! Having 4 cultivars can make for 4 height differences and for me. After a time in flower I can't block them up so the light makes it much better. Best footprint I can find.
Well I see you have this all thought out. Good luck!

Thanks @StoneOtter !

That would be an excellent option to consider ;)

If you don't need the ability to hang multiple lights at different heights, then the ViparSpectra KS5000 would be one to consider for a 4x4.

I can tell you, it's a beast. (Really, all of their lights seem to be awesome. I've used 4 different ones and have no issues with any of them. The one's Stone mentioned are smallish but still little powerhouses and when you run multiples using them they get the job done, and some!)

See why do I read these…. This light just made it onto my want list as it also is fully controllable with my ACI 69Pro!
