Black African Magic (2), Cafe Racer and Malawi x Panama in SIP's

Long day but I did manage to take down Black African Magic #2

I'll do a full wet trim tomorrow !

Day 71 of 114.

Call it 10 weeks of 12/12 with a veg time of 43 days, the last six without water....

NO training.....

Breeders Guesstimate of flowering time is 6 - 8 weeks

Here is All 56 1/2 " of her

String support removed !

I did pluck off lower bud sites, these are some of what remained...

More bud shots....

The top didn't really respond to the one time bud back building clip. The nodes were quite far apart and didn't fill in. But the buds are Frosty and HARD

For sure the densest I've grown, to date

One leaf did have some problems

ProMix HP and Mega Crop one part, in a SIP

Dovrei menzionare che questa volta ho provato qualcosa di diverso.

Riempire i secchi con ProMix HP e innaffiarli prima con 1 gallone dall'alto.

Quindi riempire il serbatoio fino a circa 3/4.

Il motivo del riempimento insufficiente del mezzo era quello di avvicinare il fondo delle coppe singole alla zona "umida".

Dopo il trapianto ho aggiunto un paio di pollici di terreno e "bagnato" che con circa 1 litro di mangime, la miscela era di 2 g/gallone di MC.

Nelle prossime settimane riempirò quotidianamente il serbatoio fino a metà prima di iniziare l'irrigazione dal basso/dal basso/dall'alto con il serbatoio pieno....

Loosely hung, four feet of string...

With the internodal spacing and height the buds didn't look that impressive, but She was 3 1/2" shy of Five feet

Largest leaves and internodal spacing of any sativa I've grown to date and a very easy trim

Smoked the scissor scrapings last night, We Have A Winner

Unlike most of the sativa's I've grown, Do Not Plan Anything Serious

What a lovely evening of FUN !

After 10 days of no water I wet trimmed and hung to dry the oldest (+11 days of veg) of the two Black African Magic's

My first test of scrapings from #2 lead me to believe this strain will make the top Three Sativa's I've grown

Not a huge yielder But could be an excellent choice for shorter tents !

Topped and trained sideways the first/oldest ended up under four feet, left alone the second one was under five feet...

And all within a footprint of 2'x 2'.

Beauty shot, after the leaves are gone it doesn't look like much is left but she is about 4 feet tall and the buds are FIRM !

Restraints removed !

Age and training/topping did appear to produce More !

Younger/untrained Lady on the left...

The third Black African Magic seed I started for a friends outdoor grow is a whopping 2" tall at day 19 (?)

Two other strains I started at the same time are 6" tall and the fourth node is emerging !

I did have some lighting issues, my 85W CFL quit and I tried a little LED light (which sucked). Using a 35w CFL for now and the babies are praying and leaning

And then there were Two

Cafe Racer is 5' 2" tall, Malawi x Panama is 4' 4"...

Each plant gets roughly 2' x 2' feet in 5 gallon SIP's !

The actual enclosure is as big as I need but with the light fixed in the center I don't like to go much more than 5' x 5' wide and I try to turn them everyday...

A gift of an Early Miss Auto seedling from Crop Kings. 3 - 4 wks old (?)

Her temporary home 2 weeks later. Roughly 42 days old and not flowering yet

Doesn't make sense, this would point to lack of adequate light contributing to a longer veg time ?
