Thanks Carmen I'm glad it's not just me! I'm not going to start anymore seedlings in the water only soil, I've got lots of light warrior (designed for seedlings) and happy frog lying around and the 2 babies are loving that mix. I'm curious to see how they take the transplant into the hotter soil in a few more days. Thanks for checking in!

Thanks @Jon! I somehow missed your living soil/sprouts, I'll look for that. I'm really anxious for ML to finish, she's stinking up the grow room all by herself right now. It won't be that long and I'm going to start another Cream Cookies seed real soon to take her place. I didn't even get an ounce dry from her and she's great smoke - she smells great and the high leaves me pretty dazed for a few hrs, my favorite kind of high. Not super dazed but I'm not sure that's possible anymore since my tolerance is also quite high. I think I'd have to stop toking for a few weeks at least to get that kind of high again. I'm also curious to see how big the next one will be with my newfound knowledge, FastBuds says shes a big yielder.

Had a great day with the visiting granddaughters today, they're 5 & almost 8 which is a perfect age. We went to the Aquarium here in town then came back here and they climbed their first tree ever and then chased my cats all over the house for a few hrs lol. Because of the smell and temps I left all the fans and filters running but shut off the lights for a few hrs while they were here, I didn't want them wondering about the bright light coming from under the bathroom door. No problems at all. Days like today.... treasures!

The grow room is starting to look nice now, I transplanted the 2 babies yesterday after 10 days in the cups. These actually came out easily with the soil intact. Amazing root growth the best I've done by far. The Red Super Skunk was my prior best and it's roots weren't this good after 12 days.

I also topped/fimmed the RSS, as feared I didn't get a super clean cut it was too jammed up.

The bags I just transplanted into were the ones I prepped about a week or so ago. They've got the living soil, bokashi, frass, myco & perlite in 3 or 4 layers. They were watered in with a kelp tea and left to stew. They were mostly but not totally dry last night and the transplants were gently watered in, right around the perimeter of the root ball.

RSS topped at 23 days:

Space is at a premium now with 5 grow bags going, Strawberry Banana days 36/9, Mimosa Lemon 66/42

Until last night the ML had the VB2000 to herself, now she has to share with the SB. The other 3 each have their own XS1500. All lights are ViparSpectra's. The ML's buds furthest right are kinda at the end of the light, maybe a bit beyond that. I just rotate her once or twice a day to get everyone lots of light.

The SB is officially doing way better. Her new leaves are barely clawing. Bud development looks great to me for day 9 of flower. I'm psyched!

She's got trichs all over her fan leaves, glad I left them on lol. You go girl!

Good Morning! Everyone looks pretty happy in the garden this morning, kinda strange the way things have gone lately.

I'm worried I have a hidden time bomb in one of the two newbies, pretty sure it's the Blueberry Glue in the 5gal bag. Good Morning! Everyone looks pretty happy in the garden this morning, kinda strange the way things have gone lately.

This is awesome BK. I love the deep green in the RSS. Normally I might even be watching for N overload but wow does she ever look perfect. Just that strain’s color, yes? The SB to my eyes is fully recovered and that’s some of the best recovery work I’ve seen from you yet, great job! The Mimosa looks yummy. But you’re right, the youngsters look fabulous. I can already see the XXL is going to have the huge fans, wonder if they all do. @Emilya has the Banana Sherbet XXL going which is great for me cuz you guys are growing the other two seed sets I have, lol! And what’s up with the time bomb worry? You’d have known by now I think. You’re going to be fine on that. Great work BK really.

Thanks Jon! I guess that's the RSS's natural color, I've never grown one before. It's been like that since day one. And I can't take too much credit for the SB's recovery . After all I didn't have to do anything except stop trying to help her lol!

I put the butter where it belongs and put the box with my seeds in it on the kitchen counter while I made room for it. I got distracted and forgot to put it back in the fridge. The GF was helping me clean the house because my granddaughters were coming over. She thought the box was empty since it was so light and pitched it. The trash gets collected on Tues night and so I took the kitchen trash out. I went looking to start a Cream Cookies this morning and as you've probably guessed the box with the seeds wasn't there, and is now buried in a landfill.

So basically I just threw out 48 seeds. I hadn't even grown some of those strains yet. Luckily the XXL seeds didn't fix in the box so I still have them. On the one hand I'm pissed, on the other hand I'm excited that I need to buy some seeds again

So I just ordered, from Fast Buds Auto, 3 packs of Cream Cookies, Strawberry Banana, Mimosa Cake and Purple Punch. The latter 2 are new to me and look very tasty. I'll get 3 auto freebies too.

I'm also soliciting auto seed recommendations... always!

Red Super Skunk day 26 got her first full watering today, 14 days after the transplant into wet soil. Not sure I'll do that again depends on how she does. She looks like a little excess N is happening, can't remember if I added any nutes to her soil. I think she'll be fine.

She's come around nicely:

Mimosa Lemon day 68 flower 44 she's slowly getting there. She's drinking less. And thankfully her calmag issues haven't gotten noticeably worse once I stopped trying to help her, she only gets ph'd water now. She smells incredible, so sweet.

Everything is looking good with the garden with the possible exception of bugs. I put sticky traps in the 2 newbies pots today and they're attracting a lot of what look like gnats. The soil has always been in the bags, it sat outside in the bags for a few days when I prepped them, but that's it. I'm hoping they're just getting into the room on their own and not infesting my plants, I've not really noticed more than 1 or 2 flying around now and then. Usually I don't see anything. Should I spray them with something like safers?

My usual sequence of pics, the garden tonight:

FRXXL day 14 she's no Titan but hopefully gets moving soon, she looks great

Red Super Skunk day 27 I'm seeing pistils she'll be budding soon she's pretty small herself but looks great. I think I fimmed her by accident but that should be fine.

Strawberry Banana day 39 flower 12. She's turning into a really sweet plant and probably as recovered as she's going to get from the N toxicity. This and the Mimosa Lemon are the perfect size for me, 2-3 z's.

ML day 69 flower 45. She's the first plant I'll have finished under this new light. Hopefully 2 more weeks or so.

My understanding is that Safers is fine but don’t use Neem in flower. And yes, if you have it or can get it, I would. Garden looks awesome!

Hey @Jon! Yesterday when I put out the 2 sticky traps one of them must have attracted 30-40 gnats in a few hrs. So I put a few more out and they've only gotten a few. I'll keep watching but if I can avoid it I'd rather not spray them. The room isn't like a tent, bugs can get in via under the door or around the ac unit. Hell ants invaded 2 months ago from a small gap where the wall and floor meet. The house is 90 yrs old and wasn't built that great to begin with lol

Having aquariums is a fun, relaxing hobby and you learn a lot too. Unfortunately every so often you have to clean them, and my big tank was long overdue. 5 hrs hard labor later it's all worth it.

Back in my prior run days there were a couple of guys here that were trying to integrate aquariums with their grows. They'd feed the fish and the fish waste fed their plants in a crazy stacked hydro thing with the aquarium at the bottom... looked like way too much work to me but as best I could tell it worked pretty well. I only use this water to start seedlings if I don't have any rainwater handy.

I know this isn't too exciting but I'm posting pics of everyone daily so I have a baseline for future grows. Just now the gnats were the worst yet, not sure what's going on. I saw at least 5 flying around and probably 10-20 more in the sticky traps since this morning. Oddly they seem mostly near the forbidden runtz which makes me think they got into her soil when I was prepping her. I'll keep all that stuff inside from now on. Should I treat the soil with a drench or something like that? This is new to me. It's always something....

BG day 15 she's all of 4" tall. Besides that she looks fantastic. Every few days I'll give her a little water as she works to empty the pot, she was transplanted 5 days ago.

FR XXL 15 days, also 4" tall although she looks smaller than the BG.

RSS day 28. She's only 7" tall and close to flowering. Will be interesting to see how tall she gets. The light next to her was lower and one of the emerging colas got confused and is growing towards it I've never seen that before. She still has that gorgeous deep green color.

SB day 40 flower 13 she's 13.5" not sure if she's finished growing. Probably stunted her a bit with the hot starter soil and N toxicity issues, but she looks good and should give me at least 2z's. She's way bigger than the Cream Cookies ever was.

ML, day 70 flower 46. 19" and she's definitely full-grown. She looks the same as yesterday, I'll skip the pic.
