BK's Indoor Soil Autos

@BubbaKush909 - dude you have done everything correctly with that up potting. Great job. What’s up with the planting on one side of the pot? Don’t do that, what’s the possible reason for it? You did it exactly right!!

Btw - see how you cut the frass, I assume just in case and cuz of it not being 0-0-0, right? I did the same with mine. But I think that frass burn was way rare and I just overdid it. It’s also more of an immediate hit when it’s top dressed versus a prepped pot, which I also think was a factor. Which brings me to my suggestion. Not sure how closely you intend to follow @Bill284 methodology, but if you go all in it includes bokashi and frass tea. I made a similar adjustment to the frass content of the tea after that burn too, just fyi.

I feel ya  You'll have a better go of it now I'm sure :)

I hope so Carmen! I just banished the Forbidden Runts to the backyard, if it doesn't start stinking too badly I'll let it finish otherwise it gets the chop. Sorry for the misspelling, the last letter of the alphabet stopped working on my keyboard. So did the letter between w and y lol. Looks like I need a new laptop.

Thanks @Jon! I plant to the side to lst the plant around the perimeter of the container. Or at least I used to, not sure I'll be doing that anymore. Now I just want to focus on growing a decent, healthy plant.

I did cut the frass to the recommended dosage. If you remember my RSS had too much N. All my recent plants have been a very deep green, and I think I was overdoing it. I've read Bills thread I didn't see anything about bokashi and frass tea, just a B5 & Superthrive spray. I'll have to go back earlier I jumped in late.

As I mentioned to Carmen I'm basically giving up on the FR. Every time I look at it I see more spread of the fungus. And I found some on the Blueberry Glue so my worst fears have started. I hope it doesn't trash the whole grow but I'll wait a while to start anything else just to see.

Thanks for visiting!

Bummer about the computer BK. Maybe have it serviced and see if that helps. I am also having some quite serious problems with mine crashing when I use Adobe products. I have a fancy big ass laptop with all the right specs and it shouldn't be doing this. Neither the IT guy, not Microsoft, nor Adobe can figure it out. I've been pulling my hair out these past few days!
I am sorry too about the plant issues! It will be very sad indeed if the Blueberry Glue goes the same way as FR.

Thanks OG my fingers are crossed too. Know any organic fungicides safe to use on flowering plants? It's not stopping and I'm running out of leaves. Ugh.

Yesterday I prepped a 5gal square bag for the Red Banana Berry XXL. It holds as much soil as my 7gal round bags. I got a giant bag of coarse perlite the other day. It's prepped as @Bill284 describes. This is the first one that I pressed down the outside edges and built a mound in the middle. I was going to plant her on one side of the bag but I'd like to get one right first. I misted each layer with a kelp solution to activate the frass, bokashi and various myco's.

I had prepped a 5gal bag for her last week but I was worried it had too much frass so I dumped that one on the spent soil pile out back.

RBB day 12 in her new home.

I love when a new one is starting out before it all goes south :yahoo:

As I understand @emily's instructions, I've watered her enough so roughly the top half of the bag is now wet. Does that sound about right?

All help is welcome believe me. Thanks for visiting!
Good morning BK hope you are well.
I see you have your pots done. :thumb:
Everything looks good.
Very nice work.
I can't see anything wrong.
Now just water properly and watch them explode.
Take care my friend.

Stay safe

I'm also growing these autos:

Bruce Banner from 420 (24%, 10-14 wks, 60% Sativa)

Strawberry Pie from FBA (26%, 8-9 wks, 85% Indica)

Red Super Skunk (Jack H x Super Skunk) from Expert Seeds (27%, 8 weeks, mostly Indica)

BB & SP have just broken ground, RSS not yet so that's where we are.

This is actually the 4th BB I've grown, between cal-mag issues, nute issues and BestVA issues I've made a mess of the first 3. But before they went bad I loved how they looked, this will go into a 5 gal bag because it's got the potential to get quite large. I hope I've got it figured out, I only have one seed left!

If you want tips on watering please read @Emilya's The Proper Way To Water A Potted Plant I try to follow that as closely as possible except I try to keep runoff to a minimum.

I include cal-mag in every watering after they are transplanted to their final home.

The 6" fan/carbon filter runs as needed, which is most of the time. I've got a second fan and more filters for when that's needed. Things are going really well when I need both of them lol
Newbie to autos here. Gathering intel. Whats your dosing of calmag if I may ask.
And glad to see u have 2 scrubbers. I had xtra carbon and small fans and was thinking why make just one when its all right here for another just in case?!

Hope all is well in your world.

How did this grow turn out?

We would love to be updated with some pictures and info.

How about posting a 420 Strain Review?

If you need any help with posting photos, please read our Photo Gallery Tutorial.

I am moving this to Abandoned Journals until we get updates.
