I agree on the not spraying. Treat for calcium deficiency and see what happens... watch for progression or remission of the symptoms.

Good morning BK I apologize for my late reply.Morning! Been hot and sunny and dry here all week, the 2 youngsters have spent a lot of time outside.
Forbidden Runtz day 41 flower 18, 14". She's still looking good although she's got some kind of leaf issue, I guess it could be bug bites but she's been inside and it's mostly just gnats that I've seen. My second guess is calmag. Any thoughts @Jon, @Bill284, @Emilya? Yesterday she got a full watering plus calmag, Safers & GG Bloom nutes.
Strawberry Banana day 66 flower 39. She can go anytime, we checked the trichs today still some clear but lots of cloudy and amber. I can't do darkness per se, but from now on when I'm going to chop in the morning I'll just turn the lights off the night before and leave them off until the chop. At least that way they'll get 10hrs or so. My friend says she smells like lilacs. To me she just smells like the sweetest plant I've ever grown. Reminds me of the Bubba Kush from Barneys Farm all those years ago.
Cream Cookies day 22, close to flower. I re-tied her yesterday to make her lean more, I think that's the end of my training. I hope she gets bigger, but I'd say she'll at least be bigger than the first time around. From now on I'll be planting them over to one side, she's right in the middle. @Jon do you think I should top her? Got a feeling I know the answer lol
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a great day!
Another gnat trick I’ve used successfully is cinnamon. They hate it. In my first grow I sprinkled all the tops of my plants (the soil) with it. A layer maybe 1/16” deep. They won’t go in to lay more eggs and the ones that sprout out already in eggs won’t go back either. Harmless to the plant and makes the room smell nice.
As I think I mentioned before a good topvdress with frass keeps them at bay.Another gnat trick I’ve used successfully is cinnamon. They hate it. Yes, I reapplied every time I watered and let the pot get nice and dry between waterings. After three applications and a few fly strips right at pot level (to get the emerging flies) they were gone. That's interesting @Jon. What happens when you watered, did you have to re-apply it? I slacked off with the Safers drench when I stopped seeing them, I won't let that happen again. Persistent little buggers.
It's impossible, they are microbes and fungi.
Hey Bill, thank you for explaining how it works together. I am sorry but I don't remember who it was. I was sure it was @Jon, but I may be mistaken. I am following quite a few journals so it sometimes gets a little much to absorb. I am well thank you and I hope you are tooIt's impossible, they are microbes and fungi.
I roll the roots right in frass.
Then I feed my babies full strength nutrients, same as the full grown girls in the veg room.
1000 ppm right to baby clones and never burn them.
It's a different method from a regular pot grow or dwc.
Microbes and Fungi feed and take care of your ROOTS.
@DYNOMYCO helps expand the root uptake zone and keep the roots healthy.
It's all about rapid root growth and feeding max nutrients for max plant growth.
If someone burnt their plant using my method it's because they never used the Bokashi and Frass properly or never activated it properly.
Can you find me the post with the burnt plant please.
@Jon Did you feed with full strength nutrients?
Cover your roots with Frass ? Bokashi ?
Did you have any burning of the leaves or roots ? At all ?
BTW: Hey Carmen
Hope you are well my friend.
Stay safe
Bill
beautiful plant what was your light cycle 24/0 or 20/4 or 18/6 ???I've mentioned my friend @Jon, most of what I'm doing I learned from him including the strains I'm growing.
Yesterday I chopped an LSD-25 from FastBuds Auto. Tomorrow I'm chopping the second one. They are the first purple strain I've ever grown and I love how they look. They're not very big but I'm working on that. Per FBA they are 9-10 week plants, 21% thc.
This one was chopped 70 days after I started it, 65 days after it broke the surface, and roughly 44th day of flower.
This one is enjoying it's last day lol it's the same age and somewhat larger.
Next up is a ridiculously small Cream Cookies auto, also from FBA. She's the same age as the LSD's
but has a while to go. My guess is 10-14 more days. She's 65 days old, FBA says 10-11 wks & 23% thc. I'll be growing her again soon, she's supposed to be a very big yielder lol. She's currently day 38 of flower.
Unfortunately she's only 11" tall, hoping it's great smoke.
Next up is a Mimosa Lemon from Expert Seeds (purple punch x tangie auto). Per the website 24% thc, sativa dominant & 8 weeks. It's also on the smallish side and no way will it finish in 8 weeks.
40 days since breaking ground, and 16 days into flower:
She's the only one I've topped and I'm not sure I should have. These have all been going into flower very early and it's killing their yield. I'm not chasing giant yields but I'd like to get to average lol.
Next is a Strawberry Banana from FBA. Awesome 27% thc, 55% Indica, 10-11 weeks per their site.
She only broke ground 10 days ago. I'm hoping for great things from her.
Everyone else has been grown in 5 gal bags, she's in a 3. I also dusted Great White all over the transplant zone when I moved her in. I'm hoping she doesn't get huge and make me regret the 3 gal choice.
I've also just started a few more, we'll get to them next. Thanks for reading!
I don’t think I’d say impossible Sensei. I top dressed the Pluto Runtz with frass and you saw what happened. The frass was the only change then, there’s no question it was responsible for whatever reason. So maybe “extremely rare?”It's impossible, they are microbes and fungi.

Wow something must have been off.I don’t think I’d say impossible Sensei. I top dressed the Pluto Runtz with frass and you saw what happened. The frass was the only change then, there’s no question it was responsible for whatever reason. So maybe “extremely rare?”
It’s FF soil and GeoFlora nutes with bokashi and frass in the pot layered a la your method. No issues whatsoever until I top dressed the frass. It killed the Pluto Runtz on the vine in 24 hours. Feed is just tap water, never once had an issue. No additives or anything else. All was fine then I decided to top dress the frass and boom - that was it. Next day you saw the picture, she was dried out and crispy all around and no longer viable. So I don’t know! Crazy! I thought the same as you - impossible! If not for this I’d still say impossible.Wow something must have been off.
I'm sorry Jon that's the first time.
Did you double check your feed water was correct?

It’s this. Don’t think that was it but maybe I overloaded the N with it?What brand of frass was it?
Might have something added we don't know about.
I'll check if you remember.

Ever since the 24 Karat has curled down tips that look like N overload too. The Strawberry Banana was not affected, she loved it.It’s this. Don’t think that was it but maybe I overloaded the N with it?
Ok ENTIRELY MY FAULTVIt’s this. Don’t think that was it but maybe I overloaded the N with it?
I am sure BK won't mind if I ask this here, do I need to be careful about N in the calmag formulation I am about to treat my plants with?Ok ENTIRELY MY FAULTV
Below you will see the frass I use nop N - p - k n nothing 000.
Not even listed.
So thank you so much for bringing that to my attention.
I'll have to tell everyone to check npk before they order frass.
Stay safe
Bill
Sorry BK I just realized who's thread we are on.
