BigBearNTX Perpetual Auto Grow

Off this week and working in the pottery studio all day, but I thought I’d take a mid-week canopy shot. The tall colas in back are one of the CBD Crack; I super cropped those over this morning after I took that shot.

Also, took a half a brownie and it’s kicking in, so fun with mud is going to be interesting today. Lol

How has the temps in the tent been with all those lights?

Nice journal BigBear I see that the upgrade of light has gotten the new girls nice and tall :goodjob:
Do you think the WW didn't respond well to the topping and training? that may explain the stunted growth.

I think the difference was that I forgot to put some Osmocote+ into her starter pot. She’s grown slow from the beginning. I only had one seed of White Widow Auto, but I have a packet of White Widow CBD autos that I’ll grow later. Hopefully won’t make the same mistake next time.

How has the temps in the tent been with all those lights?

My high temps run about 83/84F. I’ve got about a ten degree shift from lights out temp to lights on.

The heat doesn’t seem to bother them. I might get better trichomes development if I had cooler temps, but that’s not going to happen. As it is, as long as I keep them watered, they are doing pretty good.

Going well. Everyone is alive and blooming.

I think I’m about two weeks from the first harvest. All the girls are at about eight weeks. I think one of the CBD Crack will ripen first. Then the Auto Ducks, and last will be the White Widow.

Nothing much to see here though. I already watered, so I’ll take some pics in a couple days when the pots are dry and I can move them out of the tent for photos.

Great!

Got my cal/mag so they are in treatment now. Hope everything is going to be ok. Very strange that I have never been faced with any issues before and I have grown almost year round for ages... but this og is a new strain for me so its probably pretty perky about that. Got to order some more seeds soon, running very low on my cbd candida now...

Looking forward for some new pix bigbear!

The cal-mag issue tends to be something that fast growing plants go through - commonly tomatoes in the garden. They just use up all the available calcium for their rapid growth. With Doc Bud’s kit, he recommends crazy high amounts of calcium for his soil to compensate for the rapid intake. I don’t see why that doesn’t apply to all mediums we grow in.

Going to look, but I think it is suppose to only contain calcium and the other magnesium. Canna Mono.

I don’t know, I thought think it depends on how they are extracting the calcium. It’s a mineral, so at its heart it can’t really be organic.

Bear, your duck is looking pretty sativa....is that what duck is supposed to be?

No, not at all what it’s supposed to look like. Lol

It’s either faulty genes in this batch, or a packaging error at the breeder. In the end, it’s still weed, so I’ll be using it. I think it’s just going to be jar cured and stored.

Just a couple of pics for the weekend:

CBD Crack was tipped last weekend to help with backbuilding. Colas are looking good. This plant has five this size.

Auto Duck looking very Sativa like. Looks like two of the three are like this, and at least a week or two away from any trim to backbuild.

White widow is growing and blooming, but blossomes aren’t near what I would like. She’s also still about six inches shorter than the rest of the tent. I doubt I’ll get a full ounce off of her.

It’s still at that point where the pictures don’t really show much, just “yep, that’s a plant!” Kinda pics.

I’m still pretty confident my harvest schedule will be two weeks for the CBD Crack and one of the Ducks, four weeks for the other CBD and Ducks, and about six weeks for the White Widow. Hopefully the White Widow will improve once the tent starts to open up and she can get all the light.

I mean, it's looking really sativa. Might be a fun smoke! I would love that plant.

It's gotta be a packaging issue, my duck is supposed to be all indica.
