Wow! Happy harvest day!!!
That looks like a good harvest! Are you going to show how you make your gummie bears?
I will make sure to be saving this thank you very much!Happy harvest day! Lol
Gummies are fairly easy. I use one box of flavored “Jello” - the green ones were green apple jolly rancher flavor - plus three packs of unflavored gelatin.
Mix all the gelatin into a small pot with a cup of cold water. Let it sit for five to ten minutes to allow the gelatin to bloom. It will soak into a large clump.
After the gelatin mix is soaked, put the pot on low heat and stir until everything is dissolved. No need to boil it, just heat until the gelatin and sugar are dissolved.
If you are using a mold, make sure it is sprayed with a light coating of oil, so the gummies release after they are set.
If you don’t have a mold, lightly oil a 8x8 pan, or whatever size square pan you would use for making brownies.
Once the mix is clear, allow to cool a little, pipe into the molds or baking pan.
Chill to set.
If in a pan, cut into pieces. This recipe makes about 80 gummies in my mold, and probably about 60 if I cut them by hand.
After taking out of the molds, or once cut, put them on a baking sheet and put in a refrigerator uncovered to dry out. I found it helps with the texture, without adding so much gelatin that the gummies become hard to eat.
Or if you like really firm gummies, increase the amount of plain gelatin packets at the beginning.
Yes, absolutely great! Thx!
One question, how much weed du you put in them and when in the process?
I use about 30 ml of alcohol tincture. It’s about equivalent to a half a cup of oil. I figure it’s about 500mg of THC. It makes about 80 gummies in my molds, so that’s about 5-6mg per gummie. I try to have my edibles be about 5mg per dose
There are also recipes for gummies that use oil. I made one of those, but didn’t care for the way it jelled.
