The buds are getting quite nice. The top colas of one of the CBD Crack are about as thick around as a cucumber. I’m very impressed they are doing so well considering they are packed so tight and have such small pots. (I keep saying that, I knew; but it’s still true. Lol)

Yes, I'm really impressed by the fact you are running them in such small pots. You got me trying to blom the last clone I got in a 2,7L pot now just for fun to see how it manage. :slide:

Looking good over here Bear - cucumbers come in many sizes though so I’m gonna assume you’re talking about the 2-3” thick variety ;) Some nice phat colas for you!

Okay, maybe cucumbers was a bad example. Now I have to talk about length and thickness, and that’s just not nice to do in polite company. Lol

Possibly true, but it may be just folk wisdom. This is one reason why starving the plant may increase trichs, or keeping in the dark, or letting it dry out.

Hey Bear, what brand is your tent? Is it good? I’m deciding to ditch my DIY growbox and just get a tent...
 
Mine is a cheap off-brand from Amazon. I like it just fine, except for it being a little small. I can’t do much larger, maybe upgrade from a 2x2x4 foot to a 2x3x5 foot tent.

In the plus side, it only cost US$40.

Adding the fan at the bottom near the intake has helped, as well as moving my lights as far up in the tent as I could. The exhaust is pulling hot air out more efficiently now. And the top fan is cooling the lights better in this configuration. I’m sitting at about a 10F shift in temp from lights off to lights on.

Temp at the soil level is decent, so I’m happy with that. I’ve got the fan at the bottom and one at the top of the tent for circulation. My colas are getting fat, so I think everyone is happy. :)
 
So, I’m an idiot. I’ve been obsessing over these amazing pics I see on here and wondering why my plants never catch the light and sparkle like everyone else’s. And tonight I finally realized why: people are cheating!

Okay, not cheating exactly, but using flash.

Yeah, told you I was an idiot.

I’ve been taking my pics during lights on, without flash. Sparkle happens with flash.

I took a couple pics of the girls after lights out with the flash, and feeling much better. The trichomes are still developing, but you can really see by the refracted light that they are indeed there.

God I’m dumb. Lol

Not only that, but a camera with a quick flash will catch it better than a cellphone with a flash that is held on in a slow pulse.

Still...good looking girls...:p
