Same thing I do every half time lady C ........ Try to take over the world

Greetings fellow growmies,

I've conferred with fellow competitors in this fun and friendly compo and the upshot is I'll be continuing to grow alongside my auto grow buddy @HappyHazmat88 as he goes into his second half. The reason for this is that I am going to scratch the Seedsman Blueberry from the first half of my grow due to unforeseen circumstances that they are no longer sponsors at 420 Mag. The good news is that @Freedom of Seeds are sponsors and I have two of their Satdica autos just started.

I'll be growing Satdica's Cream Mandarin auto and their Somango auto for this grow. Here is a little bit of info for you on the strains.

Strain 1: Cream Mandarin Auto F by Satdica, from Freedom Of Seeds

“Cream Mandarin Auto cannabis seeds are the talk of the town! These little beauties will leave you with a sweet and fruity flavour that’ll have your taste buds begging for more.”

Lineage Cream Caramel Auto x Ice Cool. “The combination of these two strains has resulted in a well-balanced hybrid with a unique mandarin aroma and a potent yet mellow high.”

Effects “Cream Mandarin Autoflower strain offers both a relaxing and uplifting high. It’s perfect for those who want to feel more focused and creative, making it an ideal choice for artists or writers.”

Medical “Cream Mandarin is a medical cannabis strain commonly used to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and stress. It is also known for its effective pain-relieving properties, making it a useful treatment option for individuals dealing with chronic pain conditions like arthritis or fibromyalgia. Furthermore, Cream Mandarin feminised has been reported to help with nausea and loss of appetite in patients undergoing cancer treatments such as chemotherapy. Its calming effects may also assist with sleep disorders and promote relaxation.”

Cultivation “Its short flowering period of only 8 weeks makes it a popular choice for cultivators looking to maximize their yields. When grown indoors from Cream Mandarin cannabis seeds, growers can expect a bountiful harvest of approximately 450-600g/m².”

Flavour “The Cream Mandarin strain boasts a citrusy aroma that brings mandarin oranges to mind. Its flavour is a sweet and tangy mix with creamy undertones, providing a smooth finish. Inhaling the smoke or vapour will unveil fruity flavours that are rejuvenating and delightful. The aftertaste is creamy, lingering on your palate for some time.”

Sounds like some interesting strains Carmen can't wait to see these grow up

Well, there's always commercials during half-time. This guy got a good time slot in.

"Got bugs on yer' nugs?"
"Tiny critters that skitter?"
"I will work for food!"

(this is not a paid actor. This is a real life critter muncher)

Amazing detail in her head. Great capture.

Coffee grounds for Nitrogen?

I am not sure quite how to do this with the coffee grounds. I put used coffee grounds in my mushroom substrate, but haven't tried on my plants yet.

I did a little coffee grounds treatment for my three girls a couple days ago.
1 gallon warm water with about 3/4 cup of used coffee grounds I had been saving up. I left it sit overnight, shaking it up a few times and strained it the next day.
I used 1/3 of that in three 1 gallon nutrient/water feed for the plants.
Each girl got about 1 gallon of that.

Personally, I think they look a deeper green now rather than what appeared to me to be a nitrogen deficiency with a lime greenish look going on.

So, question is...have any of you used coffee grounds for your plants, and if so, what was your method? I don't do complicated..... :laughtwo:

I add coffee grounds to my worm farm and the plants seem to love it.

What kind of worms are in your farm?
I started a worm farm years ago, but I kept forgetting about it because I was still working then and putting way too many extra hours. Just enough time for eat, work, sleep...repeat.
I'm seriously considering trying again. Worm poo is good for so many things.

I forgot one of my pics the other day.
It's hard to tell there are three plants there, but there is. ;-)
The stalks on two of these are seriously thick. I'll get some pics this weekend of those.
I need to do some adjusting, a couple are leaning out of the light area. And the one in front needs to be lifted a bit higher for even canopy. I have the light tilted downward in front right now.

The stretch stopped earlier this week. We're concentrated on flowering now.

I cut a lot of larf away from the bottoms.

Go Team Girlz!
Nice looking plants there, Lady!

DAY 7 BANANA BLAZE AUTO.

Woooooweeee it's been a hell of week, I finished a rust removal and repair over the weekend and today finished a frame repair .... Well the welding is done at least 😂 next is fiberglassing.

Anyhow I how everyone has had a good week 😁.

Ok onto miss banana blaze by @Herbies Seeds . We had a bit of a rocky start and some minor worry that it would just die... But luckily enough she pulled through just fine and is growing fairly steady. Here are some photos of progress during my absence.

And now that we're caught up this is where she sits today .

She is taking water every three days or so and has not been given any nutrients. I will start the feed regimen of "Veg" by @GeoFlora Nutrients and will be supplementing immediate liquid nutrients in the event she needs something more immediate. I had a lot of problems throughout the last one....so I'm making sure to be ready to help if she needs it. She is currently under a @ViparSpectra P1000100w led at %25 on a 12/12 schedule (all the plants are in the same room so I must maintain flower time schedule for the other plants ) and at 12-13" inches from the canopy. Unfortunately my @VIVOSUN sun A6 oscillating fan died 😭😭 she served me well for three years of continuous use.... But I will be ordering a replacement or two this Friday. In the mean time I have been using a massive 18" oscillating fan..... Like a tornado in small burst 😅.

That wraps up this update... Catch y'all on your ends :headbanger:

:cheer: GO TEAM GUYZ:cheer:

She had a nice week! :goodjob:
I had that same thing happen a while ago. It’s because one side of the first oval-shaped petals (before the first true leaves) was damaged as the sprout shed its seed coat. But it looks like your lil girl is doing mighty fine now! She’s a fighter!

Dozens of long wavy fingers reaching, searching for pollen. They are alive and active.

@Barney's Farm - Rita - Gorilla Zkittlez

Such pretty white pistols you have! Not to mention it’s beginning to snow… and I remember how long your colas are, these lil ladies are going to grow into each other to form nice dense nugs… sorry, I drifted off to Layla land! Haha

So, beginning flowering in the grow I ran out of my usual General Hydroponics Cal/Mag. Plants were doing great, no deficiencies to speak of.
I had a quart of Earth Juice Cal-n-Mag, so I started using that. I started noticing deficiencies after a couple of weeks.
It looked like a calcium/magnesium deficiency to me, along with the nitrogen possibility.
So, I've stopped using the Earth Juice today, and have switched to Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus that I had a quart of here as well. I'm hoping to see a difference.

The GH cal/mag is a brownish/tan color, always has been.
The Botanicare is a brownish color.
The Earth Juice is clear.

Anyone have any preferences to their cal/mag (Besides homemade from eggshells etc.)
And anyone who uses Earth Juice, is it supposed to be a clear color?
