Basement Dweller's Acapolo Gold 2010

Re: Basement Dwellers Acapolo Gold 2010

Brings back great memories BD! Except one, mine didn't sleep through the night till he was 18 mos old.... lots of zombie days and nights without enough sleep.

Re: Basement Dwellers Acapolo Gold 2010

Aww sorry thats how it was the first couple days, but since we been home she is sleeping 4 min 6 max hrs. ALL depends on how much milk she gets in before falling asleep. if she gets 30min on the breast or 2.5 oz she could go the 6 hrs :) 20 min on the boob or 1.5 oz she will be half asleep and half hungry in 4 hrs :) were still in wk 2, so getting a rough view of how things are gonna be. still tough to predict the future but so far, all is great :)

Have you tried adding cal/mag or a good crf?

Re: Basement Dwellers Acapolo Gold 2010

getting real cold here in the NE US so had to move most of #1 into the heated cab to dry keeping it at 60ish peak and bottom is around 45. 20% Humidity the heat cycles on for 30min off 30. when the sugar leaves start getting crispy i move them to the left side of the cab and put new above the heater. I was running the fan but it was a little to much to try and heat and circulate it. So I have since turned the fan off and let heat rise in the cab and the door is cracked, so cold air can enter, I dont want to over do the drying process. Best thing is, i cant smell any of that hay smell any more. All i do is take the budd from the cab, put it into the mason gar leaving the top open and the next day, they are smelling like stinky skunk glands and a sweet smell of Columbian GOLD :) I love this strain. I cant wait to throw it on the digi and sample the tops :)

Re: Basement Dwellers Acapolo Gold 2010

This weather is making a lot of us scramble. Mid-January temps here already. Nice looking harvest so far!

Keep that baby nice and warm!

Re: Basement Dwellers Acapolo Gold 2010

Thanks blue. She is like a "bug all snug, in a rug" She loves her cozy blankets, only wish they made full size ones so soft :) We hit the 26 over night, Dam cold for this early. I bought a couple rolls of R30 to double up on insulation. Try in to get my alternate veg/flower box set up. #4 and #5 into flower yesterday. Only had a 12 hr dark period in between :( was shooting for 30 but timing was off. They have been getting 25% p in the transition feedings for two wks now. So we should see some changes with in the wk hopefully. #3 is looking like my best one so far, not for weight but lst and lollie popping have proved to be a valuable technique , when space limited like i am soon to be :) #2 is looking great to Same phenos as #1, branches every where but her budds are twice the size and thickness as 1. I think it cause i had the hps and mh over her. I have since cut out the mh in the Basement flower box, too much heat to remove. Af has some nice colas on her, but very small. think i am either gonna reveg her depending on the taste, or maybe some colloidal silver to self pollinate ? My buddy also got some yumbolt pollen saved up so think i may try my luck with making some crosses. MY ultimate plan is to have 2 or 3 strains, harvesting every 2 months but alternating them every couple wks. Oh well time to get back and get some work done :) :roorrip:

Re: Basement Dwellers Acapolo Gold 2010

well the time has come to update my journal once again. #1 has dried very well in the semi heated cab, still some lingering budds that were slightly moist so they were not included in the weight, also bear in mind i haven't bought any other budd in 2 wks. #1 came in at 52 grams and figure a heavy 1/4 shy i ve sampled :), also have the moist still in the cab. So i am thinking some where around 65-70 grams :) I know the pkg say 450 in a scrog but being my #1 indoor ,first rdwc, two pwr outages, one P burn, i think i made out very well

#2 is a wild beast, she seem to amaze me every time i see her. Drinking about 1.25 gal a day. Her budds are so heavy and dense they keep falling over, i ve been using pipe cleaners to support them but might have to resort to stay straps for strength. had two pull the hooks out of the cleaners. I wish i would have opted for the 250 vs the 150 but what ya gonna do. I am thinking my weights may be low bc of the 85+ temps ?? i have a low amount of semi airy budd on #1, figure i will just throw that into the hashish bag
Gonna give her her last 50% Nute bucket this wk end. then the flushing starts :) thinking about clearx -ing #2 I didnt with #1 and i love the taste and smoke is soooo smooth, just want to see what the difference would be. I am gonna also let her go dry/ no h20 pump for the last 2 day then on the 3rd day chop. I ve seem a couple amber's but i am waiting for 40-50% for this one :)

well its been a rough last couple day and only gonna get worse, so if my next update isnt untill next wk please its only bc i got a ton of work and family things to do so KEEP SAFE, AND GOD BLESS EVERY ONE AND YOUR FAMILIES TOO

Re: Basement Dwellers Acapolo Gold 2010

Congrats on the great harvest so far BD. 75 grams is almost 3 z's I'd say you did great. Those numbers they give are usually for a big 3'x3' plant under optimal conditions.

We understand you have other priorities now, give your baby girl extra hugs from your 420 friends!

Re: Basement Dwellers Acapolo Gold 2010

got two that just won't finish. One got the Blackberry blush the other nite. They keep on packing on weight, but they're staying 75%cloudy 20%clear 5% amber. My flower room is full aaaarrrrrgggggghhhhh!!! 5 or 6 ozs of nice Indica dom out there.....FINISH DAMNIT!!!!:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

chopper, watch that plant for seeds, thats one of the signs....believe me, i know....pinch some of those big seed pods just to be sure....the male flowers on those come out on the bottoms or in the middle where you cant see them...dont panic, but watch carefully at this time with that plant....and a lot of those cloudy t's will go honey as you cure....and alot of times t's just dont turn until overnight.....good luck....L

base.
thats a great weight....i only avereage now 2 oz off my plants...some give 3 dry, but its rare.....the weights they give are for the godzilla tree plants, they got the room to grow...not us normal beings on planet earth....youre doing great...give baby a hug....later, and take care...L

Re: Basement Dwellers Acapolo Gold 2010

nope. no seeds. I'd tried to squeeze in a second outdoor grow this year, and got caught out by unseasonably cool weather. If things had stayed warmer till January like usual, I'd have done great. Now i'm stuck with just about 5 or six good hours of direct sun....it's going a lot more slowly hahahahaha

Patience is killer when waiting for these to finish. What i do is take the bottoms off when they are 75% cloudy, then wait till 25% amber take the middle then 50% amber or as long as i can wait to chop. My heated dry cab is only little, so i was worried with drying in the cold 40 deg. but all is well :) so take the bottoms and wait it will be worth it in the END :)

Thank you L,
I cant believe the difference in the weights though, I thought a 450G scrog was way out there too. that's a half L :) :thanks: I am tring hard to only spend little time in the basement, i dont think they mind the lack of attention, #2 is doing great. well some spots on the fans from letting her bucket go more then a wk so i did a flush and gave her 25%p nutes for probally her last nute bucket. the flushing starts next wk. I started #s 4 n 5 on Transition nutes and # 3 is just humming a long :) she is doing great smaller but gonna be the size i want them to be from now on. SHe is in a 1 gal and about 2' tall by 16" wide. has 6 tops so hope the lst works and i get some great colas and some nugs and hoe to get a oz on her, I may be dreaming but really dont know what a small girl will put out ??

Baby is doing great, sleeping through the night well 11:30 -7:30. And that's great for us. We can only hope she stays that way through teething :) Thankfully, we got some months till that happens though :) She is so alert for only being a month old, she knows our voices already and is so happy. The family went to mall Sunday, we saw Santa and got her pic took. She was kinda a little milk drunk but we got 1 great pic with her grabbing Santa finger :) aww so cute.

Re: Basement Dwellers Acapolo Gold 2010

sorry for not updating earlier :) this xmas has been nuts and time is on fast forward. Any how #2 is done and drying in the deep freeze. #3 is in her last wks. #4 & 5 are covered in mites :( Dam none in the veg cab and none on #2 or 3 ?? so i assume i picked one up along the route from veg to flower. I gave them one dose of sn 217 and no more crawing but the eggs are still there figuere i will gaive it a day or two and reapply. I am not worried as i have time with 4 and 5. 6-10 are filling in nicely just need to do some mods to the flower box and get my rdwc bucket cleaned up and restarted i think 6 and 7 may find they re way into the bucket. the buckets are real good yeilders :)

#2 drying and some in the heated cab
