Barneys Farm Sponsors Grow: Gorilla Zkittles, Orange Sherbert Plus Many More

I’ve had a couple scares in the past myself, as well as needing procedures for it. My heart goes to you guys, but I’m so glad she got an all clear!

That’s really nice to hear about the MC, it’s high on the contender list when I switch off of General organics (Monsanto, boooooo hisssss). Seems like everyone is using Brix or MC these days.

Man must have been a really hard couple of days. I lost my mom 2 years ago from cancer. She was just 60 I felt to young to be dealing with the death of a parent. When ever I hear about cancer I get a lump in my throat.

The Blue Gelato 41's....

2 quite different phenos. Early on the similarities were there but as flowering has progressed they have grown apart. Lol. The first has more dense and smaller buds which are caked in slick crystals. The second has the size advantage. She is also sticky but not quite like the first....

Sorry guys. It really does effect everyone in some way or the other. I feel for you both

The Strawberry Lemonade's....

As with the BG41's there is a good bit of difference between the 2 pheno's. The first is short and heavy with few branches. She had the least amount of frost for much of the grow but has since been packing it on. Sweet and fruity with subtle berry tones. She does smell good. The second is now the plant with the largest buds. They're of a great size and with at least a couple weeks reamaining they could get even chunkier. She's smells different as well and has more of a fruity fizz....

Veg Tent Update....

Time for a break down of what's happening in the Veg Tent....

The Purple Punch....

She looks to be on the mend at last. Her colour is starting to return and she is beginning to pic up the pace again. I'll be doing another res clean tomorrow. It seems to have been getting better since covering up the light leak in the top of the pot. You can see the splits in her stem from when I crushed them to create the chunky knuckle effect lol. She has been through the wars....

Shishkaberry....

This one is still doing great and is flying past the Vanilla Kush now. Only one more topping left and I have a couple of weeks to get it in. She's almost caught up with the PP because of the of her being stunted....

Ayahuasca Purple....

This has been a bit of a strange one. She's growing much faster now and I was able to give her the topping that I thought I wouldn't of had time to do so soon. Her leaves have been strange as well and have changed a few time throughout the veg period. She has gone quite dark again but doesn't look bad. She actually looks quite good, just a bit different....

Vanilla Kush....

This one may have actually slowed a little. Ever that or the Shishkaberry has gotton faster as the size difference between them is getting larger. I managed to top her so all 3 soil plants now have 16 tops each. She's looking good and healthy at the moment so all is good....

As caught up as I will ever be, and congrats on the sparkly flowers and the now-healthy veggers. Good catch on the light leak as well. It's a good feeling to know that you solved a problem that you no longer need to worry about.
:welldone:
It's a bit over a photobomb night I'm afraid. The pics are not too bad though....
Thank you for keeping the net at bay Professor! They look terrific in all their angular glory. :adore:
I love doing the reviews. I have 14 more to do before Christmas if all goes well
 You should collect them in a single thread for reference. Each one a detailed study.
I'm going to leave her alone for now though as I'm tired and mistakes could be made.
Very well-considered. Excellent!
I’m so glad she got an all clear!
What double H said. :peace:

Sorry N but the surprise was for VG only....don't worry it was perfectly innocent. But because I got you're hopes up you can have this artsy fartsy pic of Strawberry Lemonade 1....

Thanks GG! Looks like golf balls on the GZ. How do the buds feel? They look solid.

PP is alive and kicking and is still improving everyday. She was stalled for a bit though so I'm going to have to veg her for a little while longer than I had planned

I'm good, busy as usual, similar story to you I think lol. We had a bit of a scare recently. Mrs F had some abnormalities show up in a screening a couple weeks back. We had an appointment today for further testing and we got the all clear so it's been a good day.

Thank you Irie. I've got a full update coming up of everything that's happened over the last couple days. The flowering tent has some goo in there lol. BG41 number 1 has crazy frost and I'm keeping an eye out with her because of rot. There's been so much going around and she's a prime candidate. I think she'll be finishing up over the next couple weeks and it looks like she'll be the first to finish which is good.
I'm good brother, how are you?

:passitleft:
Sounds like a tense few days mate. so glad Mrs Prof is all clear , she must be relieved too.

The Gz buds are literally rock hard. be interesting to see what shrinkage happens in the drying.
Trimmed Pog and the second smaller Gz now too. I am hoping they weigh in heavier than they look they will !.

Flowering Tent Update....

Hey 420. Hope everyone is having a good day. Been a crazy couple for me but I have managed to do a few things in the grow room. The flowering tent however has had literally nothing done other than a watering. I still need to tie up a few branches. I can see which ones are going to go now but it's not going to be too bad. The stems are quite strong on most of them. The weakest is BG41 number 2 and she'll need a few strings here and there. SL number 1 is solid and won't need any at all. I'm impressed by how this grow is turning out and will incorporate the sand into the next flowering round though I'll mix in a bit more soil because the pots are going to be bigger than these and they're heavy enough all ready. The plants are heading into the final stretch and it is around now I would have been considering a flush in the past. We won't be doing any flush although I am running out of MegaCrop. I don't think I'll make it to the end of the grow without getting another bag. It was close. I most certainly will be buying another bag as this stuff is amazing and just makes life easy. Anyway, here's the flowering tent. I'll have more pics on the way shortly....

wow prof they are huge. puts mine to shame .lol
I think i need to start potting up instead of straight into finals from sprouting and seedling stage. I want big fat colas all the way down and i am clearly doing something amiss with all this tech and stuff and atill getting mediocre results.lol
Need my tent scrapping as i think it hinders progress with its age and disrepair. it wont stand another dismantle i dont think. need dehumidifier too.
living the girlies progress mate. looks like a natural withdrawal of food for them till finish then.

sorry to hear that mate. seems sadly the norm now too. both mine to cancers in past 10 years . An evil industry driven by greed amd corruption too sadly. Ever read the cancer act ?. Total pharma stitch up in law that doctors dare not break tjrough fear of prosecution and loss of licences to work if they prescribe outside of the pharmaceutical industry to treat it. !

Thanks Shed. I'm not 100% on it being fixed just yet but I do feel much better about it. I've just been in to do my (first) evening inspection and she's looking better again. I'm going to clean the res again shortly
Thank you for keeping the net at bay Professor! They look terrific in all their angular glory.
I couldn't put it on now if I wanted to. I don't think the multiple snappings have negatively effected the bud production on any of the colas. In fact some of the snapped branches have the biggest nugs
You should collect them in a single thread for reference. Each one a detailed study.
can you do that?
Sounds like a tense few days mate. so glad Mrs Prof is all clear , she must be relieved too.
Thanks GG. We're both very relieved. It doesn't bare thinking about but that's all you do when you get news like that
I am hoping they weigh in heavier than they look they will !.
They look heavy to me. I'm sure the weigh in will be fine
wow prof they are huge. puts mine to shame
Don't be silly you toffee panda! I look at yours and I'm drooling lol
I want big fat colas all the way down and i am clearly doing something amiss with all this tech and stuff and atill getting mediocre results.lol
How about all the way across? I'd recommend getting the plants as low as possible. How far is the light from the top of the pot?
Flowering tent looks awesome mate and I’m so glad the PP is on the mend. Those fat stems will produce some nice colas.
Thanks Lew! PP is one tough plant. She had completely brown and slimey roots which were then torn from her. She didn't look great for it but continue she did. I think it'll only be a week or so before she's back and growing vigorously again. Her roots are definitely coming back to life now

:passitleft:

Of course you can. Just start a new thread in:

Call it something like "The Professor's Collected Strain Reports." Then copy each report you've done and make each one a new post.
I see. I didn't think of that. Sounds like a good idea.

Flowering Tent Update....

Hey 420. It's flowering day 46 for these four. Not long to go now. 2 or 3 weeks max. I'm still thinking they'll be 9 week strains but who knows. The buds are already way bigger than the GZ and OS's and if they carry on swelling at this rate they'll be bigger than the POG's. I think that the frequent dry periods are doing the plants good. I'm watering every 2 days now but with only half the amount I'd normally use for these pots. The BG41's are drinking it the fastest and are often on the edge of being under watered. There has been several occasions where I've checked in the morning and decided that they'll be fine only to come home from work to find dropping plants and dry pots. The plants seem happy though so I'm not concerned about the watering at the moment. No hermies, big buds and happy plants! I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing....
