The Winning Auto Grow
Day 26
Nick Hardy
1. Yes, I can and will control this without overgrowing or blowing up the tent
2. If you had anything near this on only day 26 you’d be very happy. And shit talk aside, day 26? Really? Jeez. They already look like most autos when they’re almost done. This is incredible growth for day 26.
3. If you ever grow another auto, try the Gorilla Cookies from 420FastBuds. Talk about a perfect beast to grow. Easy to grow, huge, very cooperative, huge fans but not too leafy really. It’s a spectacular auto. I got real real lucky in banking on three of these. They’re yield monsters and the buds will be immense. I can tell already. And talk about a cooperative auto - the BB#3 is off the charts. It practically trains itself.
4. Not only are the coco girls going nuts, the organics are too. I must have gotten really lucky with my proportions in the pot prep, cuz these are all four better significantly than the awesome Skywalker I just recently grew. I honestly think part of that is due to the quality of my EWC. I switched to Uncle Jim’s Worm Farm EWC and it’s spectacular. The plants love it. Ithe texture and richness is off the charts. Like holding soft, black gold. And it doesn’t seem to crust the soil as much as the first stuff I tried. I’m more happy with the organics than the cocos. I know coco. Just really learning organics and so far I’m hitting it well.
All of that was to provide a general daily update. And to try again to make you see reality and kindly offer to let you out gracefully now. You’re like DeSantis. No shot. And you’re about to lose to Nicky Haley in your own state. Withdrawing was the right move for that douche. It’s his only example worth following and maybe you ought to consider it. I hate feeling responsible for someone’s months long bad mood.

Skywalker Backup
Ever since the photo Skywalker I grew last grow I’ve really fallen for the strain. It is delightful and a smoke whenever type strain. Tasty. And in terms of growing it it’s one of the easiest plants I’ve ever grown. Last one was my first, I have two more now. One is in the soil/3/Geo setup in the tent, one is here. The backup bedroom closet Skywalker under the mighty NextLight 420h, one of my favorite lights. Awesome light. I have their Mega Pro 640 watt beast in box, unopened, for a new 4x4 when I move. The 420h is my favorite light to use for my 3x3, as it’s just a bit much for a 3x3 but easily controlled. Perfect. You can crank or withdraw with ease and it’s infinite sweep on the best dimmer I have on any of my lights. Anyway, I’ve done exactly zero here til two days ago when she got topped and that’s all I’m doing. Hopefully I have enough time left in veg for more catchup. I’d love for the lower branches to catch up to the topping but Skywalker has fairly longish internodal and it doesn’t quite appear she will. A bit too far since the tent Skywalker is going into flower and that means this one will follow in the next five or six days (same pack of seeds, identical plant, likely identical pheno, no reason not to expect the same behavior and timing pretty much). I will lower the tops to create a flat canopy but I’m going to eliminate all side branching on this one and see how big I can get the colas. No middle buds. No side branching. And stripped perhaps to the point where all I get is the colas. It’s something @InTheShed does to perfection. For anyone here who wants to really learn how to max your yield on the defoliation/flarf removal side, Shed is a master and I give him credit for the model I now use. I just had no choice but to vote for him AGAIN in PLOTY. Take a look at that plant and the colas. You don’t get that by accident, and to create it, in my opinion, requires more consistent attention and keeping up on than just about any other aspect of maintenance in flower. Ok Shed, I’m done, hope you enjoyed your Sunday ass kissing.

Feels like I’ve been slow. Flip on day #35 I guess. Maybe #40, that’s what I did last grow in here. Harvested today at 100.
They are in their final home, which its self is nearly finished. Mulling some more side lights. There’s a little bit of airflow management as well. Lots of 5000K cool white light. Recover today. They were fed 5 hours late. Then by Tuesday morning I reckon I’ll see a growth spurt.

They look a little rag tag. They spent most the evening with the door the tent open watching the last generation getting chopped. And then ushered into that killing field themselves.
For me? I love the next 5 weeks. This is it. I’m shuffling in little a deeper in the seat. Roll my shoulders. Stretch my neck. The window open half a smoke in my fingers, ash trailing out, whipped by the wind. Adjust the seat with a whir and a click. Turn the music a little higher, the air a little cooler adjust the box back and press the gas slowly down, feeling the engines gradually spin up, the rumble builds. Jink a little, test the wheels, a slow breath deep. Then. Release. Flick the smoke.
Push. Push through the horizon. Homcoming.

How big do you like ‘em Shed?
The 12 in the pallet are 110oz/0.75 Gallon - 3 litres. The two in cup holders are 16oz - 400ml standard.
Thanks Jon! I do like to point out that it's not done to increase total yield, just decrease larf and trimming time.
Though if you don't include larf in your harvest weight then I'd say it does increase yield in that sense.
