anyone got an idea on what this could be very small white spot not spreading just very strange only gave ph water 5.8 that's it ...?.
It's probably just a drop of water from a previous watering. Keep an eye on it let us know if it worsens

Your spot on there, I dropped a spliff into other pot and as I rescued it some water fell out my jug and just caught a leaf this must be it, I'll keep an eye onit for I think you solved my problem!

How many watts minimum would you say that you need for a 4by4 to flower. ✌
`if you're referring to hps lights, I'd advise nothing below 400w, and that's really not enough. 600w hps will get good results. 1000w air cooled is the standard for good coverage. I been looking at the new led technology, which I'd love to try, but the prices are just out of reach for me.

Led lights sure can be costly but cheaper to run. You'll make your money back in savings. HID lights are good in my opinion but I love my leds

Anybody know of a journal that involves long veg periods and LEDs for bloom? I'm thinking of building a COB, but I want to check LED harvest weights from plants that went 10+ weeks in veg.

The biggest mistake we make is loving our plants to death.
Yes I agree.....if LST and bringing our plants to the brink of "How much can you take". To "Just one more bite and you can leave the table" mentality.
I'm a loving them to death

Skybound, I'm taking down a WW veg for 86 days under LED. 80 days flowering. Part of ongoing experiments. Once I get the data together. If you like, I'll give.

Kingjoe83 I want to say budding started right around day 50. Of all the notes I've jotted down how could I have missed that. Oh well next time. Very impressed with Barney's Farm and Pineapple Express. Thanks to you and everyone else who has been so generous with opinions and advice especially SnarlyWeed.

No problem Sir.

We're just spreading the love instead of evil and education on plant is very useful. Wouldn't buy a car without testing it right.

Anyways yeah no problem dude I'm glad to have helped tries seeing if you had journal bud sad face developed. . .
Ps snarly and the gang in this thread are super wicked souls..

I would most certainly definitely like, yes please! In the meantime, pennywise, what was your final take, or are they still sweating some off?

Also, even though COBs are LEDs, in my head COBs give off a more natural light whereas traditional LED panels give off more of a disco-tech kind of light and I wanted to know if there's any major difference in performance between the two? My day and a half's worth of research on COBs tells me they run between .3 - 1.2 amp draw at roughly 37 volts which tops off about 44 watts per COB. Now LEDs used in the purple panels, aren't they generally 3-5 watts per diode? Or is it that the old LED tech used individual diodes and new LED tech (COBs) smash a shit load of smaller diodes onto one COB/lens? I'm particularly attracted to COBs because it seams just a couple COBs produces as well or better than the purple panels, so swapping out COBs would be much easier than individual diodes, or even an HID inside a cooltube. Apologies for the loads of questions and fleeting tangents, my mind is racing now over this subject.
