BumpI have 3 Fem white widow seedlings in 4 inch pots with 40% Fox Farm OF, 40% organic starter (peat moss, vermiculite, perlite, wetting agent), 20% organic perlite. 1 week old (above soil). I've heard that with FFOF you wait a month before giving nutes
Does that apply to my girls since the soil is diluted? If not, when? What are common signs that they are nutrient hungry?
I was thinking more over watering and too much nutes .
I didn't think they looked over watered in that pic, but was more so wondering when I should add nutes to my specific soil mixBump
Led lights sure can be costly but cheaper to run. You'll make your money back in savings. HID lights are good in my opinion but I love my leds

I cant wait til I have funds.Check out Black Diamond Perfect Sun, several of us are running them and love them.
Thank you! Yes, I will transplant to fabric pots as soon as they are big enough to handle it, and I will scoop in a bit more soilBe very careful with those peat cups, they suck water out of your soil and dry everything out quickly. You may want to add more soil to the cups if you can. The leaves will become light in color. The cotylodons are turning yellow so they are used up. Watch leaf color closely.
That is how it should be if people choose to have attitudes or becoming to start drama there's the door. .I always thought the 420 forums were a place where people helped each other with positive vibes.
And not look down their noses at people asking for help.
How often are you watering? 40%ff 40% organic starter both have at least buffering additives in them. You can wait until the (little round first leaves to yellow) than water at 1/8 to 1/4 strength base nutrients. pH to 6.0 to 6.3.I have 3 Fem white widow seedlings in 4 inch pots with 40% Fox Farm OF, 40% organic starter (peat moss, vermiculite, perlite, wetting agent), 20% organic perlite. 1 week old (above soil). Or you can start to water now with above.
If this is in response to my post, it certainly wasn't directed at anyone using different methods of growing. That is what makes this thread so great. I have the highest respect for the people here that go out of their way to help people with all and any questions, no matter how trivial or complicated they may be.Snid started this thread for people to come here and ask whatever questions they might have and get answers. So we'll continue to give the best answers we can. We have people in here running Leds, cobs and hps. Theres soil growers and hydro growers. Organic nutes and chemical nutes so hopefully we can cover all the bases.

I was just spouting in general about the odd holier than thou posters.
I apologize, I should be more tolerant as you folks are.
