Flower Day 41 - Veg Day 23
I left for a mini vacation into the mountains of mother nature and got back today. I watered the plants Monday and then watered them today as soon as I got back. The flower girls were pretty dry but gave them a strong soaking and the pots are moist again. The plants themselves didn't look droopy or anything however the dryness might have caused some salt build up. I may flush with a light nutrient regimen tomorrow if they look like they are getting nute burned.
To my surprise the veg girls really took off the last couple of days. I have let them get a bit more vertical than normal and I will start training tomorrow. I did a little tucking and bending but tomorrow I will defoliate a bit and start my LST. Roots are all over the pot and are already on the surface.
Cali OG in the back right. Purple Envy front left. Purple Kush front right and Lost Coast OG in the back right. Lost Coast is a bit behind it seems. The Purple Kush has started out the strongest.
The flower tent is still trucking along. Almost 6 weeks now so the last 3-4 weeks I should see some bulking up. Should be an interesting finish. The aromas from each plant are super strong and starting to see lots of frost now.
The White Castle is frosting up the most but I'd still like to see a little more bulking at this point. She is likely going to go a week more than the other two so I have to keep that in mind.
The Amnesiac has noticeably fire orange hairs that are healthy looking and all over. I think this is going to be one of those buds that just has really red hairs.
I must say for being the runt most of the time, the Jack Herer is stacking the nicest and thickest. Amnesiac is still the largest and densest but if the Jack Herer keeps filling out like it is, it might take the cake of the 3 of them.
I can't remember if I mentioned this before or not but my final weight for the Auto Headlights ended up being 96 grams. The nugs were really dense and is by far the best nugs I have gotten with an Auto. Very sweet smelling like my Aurora Indicas were and a familiar smell for sure. It definitely was the Northern Lights in both strains. I've had good results and yields with Northern Lights strains and like what I get out of them.
The Cherry Bomb auto came in at 181 grams. It is now the largest single plant that I have grown. I can already tell the buds are not quite as nice as the Headlights. They are a little bit smaller and pop out all over the place. Kinda like a pineapple. The smell is really something though and I keep getting whiffs of cherry throughout the house like someone baked a cherry pie or something. I'm anxious to see how it cures and smokes.
