Antics Perpetual Learning Experience

I haven't started really shopping around or comparing brands, but I am currently using General Organics CalMag :thumb:
I'll take a look at their lines as well, thanks brother!

I hear really good stuff about House and Garden,, I might give it a runon a few plants this summer,, if I can get a sample to try... working on that. I've also heard good about General Organics, that is another line I've considered. As much as I want to grow all organic, or not from the bottle,, I also want to try as much as possible. Good luck with your decision.

Thanks man, I see they have coco specific nutes as well, but there's so many addiditives available. I'd hate to think I have to buy the base A+B, and also buy all the extra bottles too. That would be too time consuming to mix them all, not to mention costly.

Day 54 Quick update:

Started feeding at the rate of 7ml/gal micro, 12ml/gal grow, and 20ml/gal bloom. So we'll see how that works out in the next couple days.

I also gave most of the buds a little haircut, hopefully to increase bud growth using: LA's Quick Guide To Simple Backbuilding Technique For Buds!

Having used Backbuilding myself and observing other grows that did as well I'm not certain it necessarily increases yield but rather reconfigures how the plant builds those colas. It seems to pack the colas more densely and bring them to a more uniform look. More for marketing than anything, although there's that added density, which makes tighter nugs in the end. That's always a good thing.

I will probably do it every grow from now on. No loss and only potential gain. A win-win all round.

Reps for posting the link and spreading awareness.

I tried backbuilding on my last grow. I selected two opposite branches at the same node, made the backbuilding cut on one, and left the other alone. Total weight of the backbuilding branch's buds was .41g more. Coincidence maybe, but it was enough for me to give it another try :)

Annnnnnnnnnd I should be ordering my second light soon :thumb:

Quick update!

Hello Antics, I done the exact same with my first ever grow. I always had my wake and bake and then attened to the awful out break of gants I had with my last grow.. every morning I would kill about 10 of em lol.. But this one morning, I was a little to baked to be at anything really, and slipped I was leaning all my weight on one hand.. I snaped a huge branch carrying alot of bud.. Man I I was so ANGRY AT MYSELF.. I immediately held the branch back to the stem, as there was still a little bit attached, tied some fishing line around her and when I came to harvest and took the fishing line off, she was all fully mended.. This happend well into the budding cycle tho, and I think it was main cause of the buds being a bit airy.... The plant obv had to put alot of energy to fix that.. This was the lady in question

Day 56 of 65-70.

It looks like some of the buds are packing on some weight and getting a little bigger, but I'll set up a comparison and see what you all think as well.

I can def tell in the second bud pics that it has packed on some weight. The first is hard to tell, maybe because of the LED, but I can see a noticeable difference in the second.

They are mighty frosty brother! I love seeing the trichomes on the stems!! Looks like a pipe cleaner. lol

That plant is bloodly gorgeous buddy.. My mouth is watering just looking at it, and I havnt had a toke in 4 days! ahhhh.... Do you have a heater that keeps the temp between 70-75?
