Sounds good buddy, looking forward to seeing the pictures tommorrow :) Is the strawberry blue the one that you rescued from early on? What all gear will you be running in your new veg room?

Pictures will be coming in a few minutes :)

Yeah, the Strawberry Blue was the one plant that I was able to save. She had PH problems for about 4 weeks. I had another, Big Bang, that I was unable to save in time.

The new Veg cabinet is going to be pretty simple. A few CFLs, a PC fan for exhaust, with a passive intake, and no filtration, since they'll just be Vegging.

Day 60 of 65-70.

All is pretty well with Strawberry Blue, I don't think we'll see much bud growth now, as she'll likely just be maturing and ripening these last few days. I'll have to rely on a lot of popcorn and hope it brings up the final yield to a decent amount.
Today will also be the last day she receives nutes, as I'm going to start flushing tomorrow. Plain PH water from now on.

And a few pictures :)

Now the Veg cabinet isn't done, but I have some lighting going and the girls are hanging out in there now. I transplanted Big Bang #2 and Cotton Candy into the 1 gallon pots, and one root broke on CC during the transplant when some of the coco was stuck to the bottom of the pot, it was a larger root, so we might see some wilting or shock, but she should pull through fine otherwise.

Big Bang #1 hasn't changed, and appears to slowly be going downhill.

Big Bang #2 is slowly picking up, and at this point I think she'll be fine :thumb:

And Cotton Candy has been a strong grower up until now, we'll see if she handles the root damage well or not.

As for the clones, there's been no real change, they're still alive, but some yellowing leaves now, so hopefully they root soon. It's been a week or two now, so I'm hoping I see something soon as far as roots go.

Here's a quick shot of the cabinet now:

I'm using the adjustable shelf to raise and lower the plants now. Inside is like a matte white, so it reflects pretty well. Inner dimensions of the cabinet are:
23" wide 58.5cm
11.5" deep 29cm
19.5" tall 49.5cm

It's not the best, in terms of size, but should be adequate for 6-8 weeks Veg with a lot of LST, for 2 plants. Next time around I won't have 3 plants, plus 4 clones in there lol.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm going to put some weather stripping around the doors to seal them from light, since it looks ridiculous right now, and is right across from the door to the computer room. Passive intake, and exhaust will be located on the rear of the cabinet so light isn't visible to house guests.

:Namaste:

That Strawberry blue is looking covered in trichomes, bet she smells amazing :) It's still early days in that cabinet but by the time you have it completed it will be a great asset to your garden :thumb: Off to harvest our blue kush auto, happy days to you brother :Namaste:

Mouthwatering! Looking good man! keep it up. Is it best to flush for the last couple of days? just curious as im seeing others flush at all different times, some as long as 10 days.

Thanks man!

For soil, I see a lot of people flush for 7-14 days. I'm growing in coco, and by breeder time, I should have 5-10 days left, so I figured I'll start my flush now, since with coco I water 2x daily, I figured 5-10 days should be enough. But I might still have a lot more time to go, so I'll have to see how things go from here.

I talked to a more experienced grower, Dutty, and he believes I might have a good 10, or up to 20 days to go still. And he's probably right, based on trichomes (only about 25% cloudy on the buds now).

My second light has arrived, unfortunately the shipper forgot to include my yoyo hangers, so I've already sent Sara a PM about that.

The new light is the same as the one I already had, Mars-Hydro Old Model 100x3.

As expected the light arrived safely, no exterior markings on the box at all, and works perfectly.

I also took this time to take out my old light, clean up the glass inside and out, and cleaned the dust off the heatsinks. Keeping your heatsinks clean should help prolong the life of the product :thumb:

Since I'm down to only 1 pair of yoyo hangers, the lights are hanging however they feel like it, which isn't too bad, but I'm looking forward to getting the other pair of hangers in so I can have the lights hanging properly.

I really want to see what you can do with the Cotton Candy because I was thinking about getting seeds. Can't wait to see what your buds will look like!

Emerged from soil March 25. Today is 13 days since sprout. This was taken just a minute ago to show you:

She's growing really, really well. So far she's only getting plain water, PH'ed at 5.8, and is growing in coco.

Cotelydons are pretty much dried up though, so tomorrow I'm going to have to start feeding some nutes.

Strawberry blue looks amazing can't wait to see what you do with cotton candy

The addition of this light should change things as well.

I have a total of 7.19 square feet of growing space. (40"x26")

The lights are rated 150-170 watts total draw.

Previously, with the one light, I was growing with a total of 20.86 - 23.64 watts per square foot.

Adding the second light now gives me a total of 41.72 - 47.28 total watts per square foot. Which falls into the higher end of the 35-50 watts/sqft range I've seen suggested for LEDs.

Thanks for this Antics. I wasn't aware of the recommended range for LEDs.
