Hey Duggan! Daj does not have an intake fan so not sure how humidity would get into tent regardless of where the Huey is. What do you think of my idea to add the intake fan with ducting the leads to the Huey? I've done this with a window AC when I was using hid lighting.

Yes,...at this point in the yr. with all our issues with low RH...i would do just about anything that works! With 119,..the air has to be coming from somewhere ,...right...that's where i would put the huey ...but that being said you might have a good idea there sir. If i was him,..like i said...i would do just about whatever it takes. remember ,...if we can get it up to 40 % that will do ....don't panic if it's only 40...it's when it drops down to 35 and below that things start to 'go south'.Try and maintain lower , rather than hotter/warmer temps as well. Growth slows some but as long as it's in the 70's. all is good.
Plumber/friend just left....He fixed my tiolet....gifted him some produce and things....day is getting better by the minute!!

Ok guys... let me explain my setup a bit better... so I have 1 small humidifier inside the closet, it sits on top of my tent... see I need it where it is so my tent and cabinet both receive humidity from it. I have a type where I can point the "nozzles" in two different at the same time. So one is pointed I the general direction of the cabinet the other toward the back of the tent (humidifier sits on top remember). I have the largest opening, at the back of the tent, open all the way for air circulation and to allow the humidity to be pulled in as the air is being pulled through. My closet is , and has been around 40-45%.... temps never get above 80-82f So according to Duggs there... I've been driving myself crazy for nothing.... chasing that 55%

Thanks for your help guys!! If that temp and humidity range is ok... I just won't worry about it. I gotta tell ya... my wife keeps saying... you're obsessed with that stuff... I try and explain and she just says it again... I'm driving her nuts.

Whenever I talk to my wife about what I have going on I can see her get lost and loose interest fairly quick. i dont really have many people to talk to in real life about things so I can just gab at her relentlessly some times. It is mostly just me talking things out in the presence of another person so I do not feel too crazy

Absolutely Yeti... same here. She'll usually at least keep staring in my general direction even once lost... they can be so sweet to let us gab on. I don't have anyone in everyday life to talk with about his except you guys... and I am very grateful.

I can tell its alt least trying to work, when I take the tank off and push the little float down a little stream of water spouts up and with the tank on if I put my hand over the top where vapor comes out I can feel cool air coming out. I tried a few things but think it may be done.

just curious, have you tried figuring out a way to clean it really well inside? Maybe just some build up of junk causing it not to creat the mist...

Good morning Ween, 119 and friends.119...your enviro is not perfect...but its ok...stop worrying so much ok!As long as you keep those temps around 70....80F and no higher..your RH in 40's. will be fine.You and the wife can relax...enjoy your grow.

Thanks Duggs! Yes, my RH now sits around 40-45... sometimes even 50% for a while. But it doesn't drop below 40% ever with the way its setup. My temps the last two weeks... since last small heater adjustment... doesn't go above 78.. I mentioned 80-82 yesterday, but those are like my all time highs in the tent. It hasn't gotten that hot in there in some time.

Morning guys! My Huey slowly started working. I cleaned it the day before. It was working very weak, only getting rh up to 35 from 30 so I turned the exhaust fan off which got the rh up but temps also rose but only to 83, a couple hours later, right before bed I checked and rh was at 68, D'OH. Turned the exhaust fan back on. This morning rh was at 38 so I'm close. The mist was looking stronger but has a little ways to go. If I need to, I can supplement with wicking but my bloomers come down in about a week and veg girls will move into the 4X4 where I could use both Huey's if needed. Veggers looking pretty great this am.

Bloomer got TD two days ago. I'm wondering if I should do two GEs in a row before harvest or go RO then GE?


Cogs getting her GE dunk to show how I trimmed up her underparts.

Done deal, thanks Duggan! I have a big bottle of the old formula which is why I thought of it. I'm wondering if it is ok to use bot old and new through out a grow, not at the same time. I don't want to waste this old formula and only have a small bottle of the new.
