Another Brix In The Wall: Sweet Pink Stink & Coked Out Girl Scout

re: Another Brix In The Wall - Sweet Pink Stink & Girl Scout

OK, thanks Bud! If I do get 4, probably won't happen, maybe I'll veg en as long as I can in the veg tent then throw 2 in flower......or I'll just pick the best 2 and cull the others.

I mentioned this over n the community carnival journal since Graytail asked if mine smelled like raspberry which it did not yesterday but does today, very interesting!
Crazy how much the smell changes after a dry and maybe a week of curing..Six weeks later it's yet a different smell.
Terpenes are dope.

It was my second grow and my first using Docs kit soil. Thanks LED! I raised my last plant up to 24" below the Goliath. The leaves seem to be bleaching a bit, yellowish spots here and there since I made the move. Will she be OK or should I lower her? There are also a couple small spots that look like rust. On a positive note, they are starting to smell really sweet, like some kind of magnificent berry.

See how the leaves at the top, the edges of the leaves look sharp like teeth? That is the first sign of light stress. Next, the edges will start to curl up.

I would lower the plant a bit for now. Once about half way through flower, then raise her up to 24 inches. Let her get used to that then during the last 3 weeks, get her within 18 inches for fat, dense buds.

So I pulled a major bonehead move, major! I knocked over both of my#1's with the freshly planted seeds. I scooped up most of the soil but not all so I can't be sure the seeds made it back in the pots and if they did who knows how far down they are. I wonder if I should give it a week or so to see if they sprout....? Dag nab it!

:sorry::hmmmm::hmmmm::yikes::rolleyes3:sorry::surrender:

I did that several days ago - knocked over a pot that had a seed with tail planted in it. I waited 3 days, no sprout. Started another seed.

A couple of grows ago, I did the same, no sprout, started another seed.

It happens.

Good afternoon Brotha Dugg! I was surprised the weight of carnival was more than big widow, 104 vs 102. The gf is giving both good reviews. Carnival is more dense than both of my previous harvests but still a little fluffy. She dried quickly. Let the curing commence.

So my blooming girl is having some issues, looking for some input on what it may be and remedies. She got straight water a few days ago and 2 previous feeds were cats, about 9ml of cd and 1ml of tea in 2 gallons of water and this is the typical drench formula I've been using and 2 straight waters between drenches. I did recently raise her to 24" below the light but lowered her a few days ago to about 36" below.

I get that too on my fan leaves sometimes. My RH is also around 30% but the buds come out top notch so I don't stress it. Definitely won't invest in a humidifier just to save a couple fan leaves :passitleft:

re: Another Brix In The Wall - Sweet Pink Stink & Girl Scout

I would have to lean towards that 88 spike with lower humidity. That'll fry leaves quick! After buying our bigger humidifier it's amazing how happy all of the plants look at 55-60% humidity. That always seems to be the struggle for grows, if you can get a handle on it, it should work out for ya.

Take it easy ween.

Thanks Canad! I won't stress it but do have a really inexpensive humidifier lying around so why not. It one you get from the pharmacy, probably $15 or so. Gonna put it on a timer so it's not running all day and night.

Ah buddy looks like we both on a bit of troubled space regarding our plants. I am not too sure what will cause that, maybe potassium problems...not too sure mate hope somebody will point you in the right direction

I suspect that raising it up to close to Goliath was the initial cause and the low rh is not helping. I'm adding a small humidifier, get her some destress last night and hope she bounces back. I cannot say enough how amazing she smells! Wish I could bottle the fragrance.

Thanks Nis! I was typing as you were. Gonna try my cheap-o humidifier and see how it works.

Yeah ours puts out .5 gallon of water an hour lol. But humidifies 300 sq/ft quite well to 60% and cycles on and off every few minutes. Something to think about when you move your tents back out of the house. :thumb:
