Carnival gets the chop tomorrow. The wwxbb2 has the flower tent all to herself. I elevated her by putting her on top of a 5 gallon bucket and she is about 18-24" below the Goliath. She got her 2nd cat the other day.

Took 4.5 hours to trim and wash the carnival with help from my gf. Such a lovely smell. I think it'll be between 3-4 zips. Got a nice chunk of finger/scissor hash.

Thanks Duggan! I appreciate the encouragement. I know I have room for improvement but am happy with what I've done so far and really appreciate all of your help!

I don't think my last Carnival clone is gonna make it so I dropped 2 seeds last night. Instead of the paper towel method, I dropped them each in a cup of water (so I would know which is which) and gave them a little encouragement to sink this morning then dropped each in #1's with a little roots in the hole. I noticed a little white tail had broken through one of the seeds.

I dropped a Super OG Kush and a Special Kush so get to use some of the OG Drench I got.

Royal Queen Special Kush No.1 Feminised Seeds Info
Kush is to Indica varieties what Haze means to Sativa. Much like skunk, kush is a term which can be used to describe a whole lineage of cannabis plants. We use the term Indica today to describe a type of plant which is found naturally (indigenous to) in the India Region.

Special Kush likes to grow wild as if in the mountains of Afghanistan; this means it will fill up any space it can. Indoors, care should be taken that it doesn’t overgrow its space, but given enough space, like outdoors, it can grow to over 3 m tall.

It will be finished flowering in 7-8 weeks and can yield about 65-150 g per plant indoors, 400 g per square metre under a 600w light. Grown outdoors, it needs that warm environment such as can be found in Italy or North Africa. With enough sun, food and water, this tree can yield over 150 g per plant.

Ya mon,...with the beans. Dropping them both in a glass of water was a good idea. All we're trying to do by that is soften up the casing so life can begin. I usually soak mine like that overnight, then they go in wet PT's, on a small plate, preferably where it's nice and warm. (All water used for this is distilled) Then i look at them couple times a day. As soon as they split open ....just a bit, they get planted into our soil .About 3/8" deep. I only do the PT thing to confirm 'life'....otherwise if it's a dud, and it was planted directly , you could be waiting weeks ....for nothing. Since i only have a very small area to work in , outside the GR, i need close to 100% germination, so i gotta be a lil more thrifty and can't plant more than i need at finish. Ramblin a bit eh....that's the "Lilly" :smokin:....gotta love it eh bud......Cheers Ween......and Gang:circle-of-love:

Thanks Duggan! Pretty sure one of the seeds had already popped, is that possible in water for about 16 hours? I'm hoping both come up and will keep y'all informed.

It was my second grow and my first using Docs kit soil. Thanks LED! I raised my last plant up to 24" below the Goliath. The leaves seem to be bleaching a bit, yellowish spots here and there since I made the move. Will she be OK or should I lower her? There are also a couple small spots that look like rust. On a positive note, they are starting to smell really sweet, like some kind of magnificent berry.

So I pulled a major bonehead move, major! I knocked over both of my#1's with the freshly planted seeds. I scooped up most of the soil but not all so I can't be sure the seeds made it back in the pots and if they did who knows how far down they are. I wonder if I should give it a week or so to see if they sprout....? Dag nab it!

its probably happened to more than most would admit...:)

happened to me.. next time i wont wait...I'll start another...

Doc(i think?) said dont become too attached to them..:thumb:

its not easy...they're babies...theyre cute..

and they grow up, especially in HB soil to be friggen awesome! :)

Thanks Ziggy! That helps me feel better and puts perspective on starting new ones which I will do. Im gonna plop em in water over night then in paper towel I until they pop then in new#1's so I can see if these pop but then I may have to many.

Mine landed on the old concrete floor with all the pock holes and gritty stuff. After a couple minutes of scuffing around trying to rescue ... something ... I came to my senses. :cheesygrinsmiley: Some days are just suckier than others, is all.

If either of them pop, I hope it's the super og Kush since that was the only seed I had. The two in water now are special Kush and money maker.

Thanks Duggz! You have a great day too! :high-five: went with your method of soak to PT and will check a couple times per day then right into a plastic #1.

If my original seeds pop, I won't really have the room in my 2'X2.5' veg tent so was thinking of going right into 12/12. Thoughts on that?

Take what you like best of the lot and cull the others , if any. If ya go right to 12/12 they will be small plants.....and you know how I feel about them....:tokin: Up to you though Ween....but like you said the others are prolly way too deep now to even come up , but ya never know , they might surprise you. OK, thanks Bud! If I do get 4, probably won't happen, maybe I'll veg en as long as I can in the veg tent then throw 2 in flower......or I'll just pick the best 2 and cull the others.

I mentioned this over n the community carnival journal since Graytail asked if mine smelled like raspberry which it did not yesterday but does today, very interesting!
