Another Brix In The Wall: Sweet Pink Stink & Coked Out Girl Scout

re: Another Brix In The Wall - Sweet Pink Stink & Girl Scout

Oh boy oh boy oh boy yeah this is gonna be great. Can't wait to see it harvested!

Hey Pat! I can't wait either! There are 4 or 5 colas that are really fat. There really dense too. I'll guess close to 4 zips.

Wow 120g just for those 4 big colas? From the one plant? For real homie

I'm probably not a good person to guess since I've only harvested 3 plants so far but each one of those colas are at least 1/2 and probably more and then there is the rest of the plant. I wish my carnival would produce as much but I'm sure her quality will be hard to beat.

WWXBB 1 went right into a dark tent so will have about 30 hours of darkness before the chop tomorrow.

WWXBB 2 got her 1st cat and carnival got RO.

Looks like a nice yield Ween!...gonna be more than 4 zips methinks... I'd say 6.2...lolool...h00k...:Hookah:

Thanks Hook! I'm thinking more than 4 too and will gladly take 6.2! :high-five:

:bravo: Party at ween's! :lot-o-toke:

Thanks Nis! Let's hold off on the party until it's cured, then everyone is welcomed! :passitleft:  :theband:

Congrat's ween. Nice lookin pull. Got some nice lumber left there.:thumb:

Hey Ween, nice little haul bud....great work!:thumb::cheertwo::bravo::high-five:

Thanks Budley and Duggan!

My WWXBB 2 is +25 and looks fantastic up top, see below, but there is tons of undergrowth, lots of little tiny funny looking buds and some dying leaves (less than I would've thought considering not much light gets down there.) should I clean up the lower part of the plant? Strip her clean? Is it ok to do at this stage or should I just let her go? Let me know if I should post pics of her underside.

Mornin Ween,...ya , strip all that stuff off her bud...let all that energy go into filling out up top OK! Cheers , and once again nice work Ween!

Done. Stripped off a lot, about 1/2 a plastic shopping bag. Gave her a shot of destress.

re: Another Brix In The Wall - Sweet Pink Stink & Girl Scout

Very nice!

Thanks Canad! Have Some White widow X big bud or as we like to call it, Big Widow! :passitleft:

Yes,...indeed "C"!.....That's the stuff Ween.:thumb:

Thanks Duggan! It'll be interesting to see the difference from WWXBB 1 which I did not clear up her underside.

So it dried quickly and the total is 102 grams, pretty much what I had guessed.

So, I'm a little bummed about this crop and my 1st, not because of quantity but because of quality. Both came out very fluffy and not sticky at all. I was surprised this one came out fluffy because the buds were huge, dense and pretty firm when squeezed but after about 28 hours of darkness that firmness was gone and they were quite soft, they dried real quick and are fluffy.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I suspect my carnival which is due to come down very soon will have at least some stickiness based on resin forming on the buds but can tell the buds are going to be on the fluffy side too.

I know I need more practice but would like to dial this in sooner than later.

Thanks everyone for all of your help! :high-five:

im not saying you did these, but improper timing of the CAT(late) or finishing with Transplant instead of GE, and picking buds earlier than they should may make buds fluffier.

also can be strain dependent :)

congratulations on your harvest!!

Thanks Ziggy!

Of those things mentioned, it really could only be the strain. She developed little to no resin on her large buds while my carnival who was grown at the same time shows a lot more resin. What's odd is the WWXBB 2, a clone taken from WWXBB 1 is already starting to develop some resin a few days after her 1st cat.

Does everyone put their plants in darkness for 24 hours prior to chop? I feel like if I skipped this step that she would have been less fluffy but not sure if that makes any sense.

4 days since carnival got RO and she's still pretty heavy. I'll see what she weighs tomorrow and if still heavy then she may come down.
