Another Brix In The Wall: Sweet Pink Stink & Coked Out Girl Scout

re: Another Brix In The Wall - Sweet Pink Stink & Girl Scout

OH ween..... I'm smoking my Carnival right now. I decarbed it first, you've heard the rumble. Un.....believable.

You have a lovely garden going there. I'm looking forward to getting the switch out of the way. I'm ordering the Pro-Mix right after this post, but you caught my eye on my way to the rain forest. I wonder if Home Depot carries it? Hmmm....

You're in for such a treat ween. Last time I didn't know about the decarb bonus. Lucky you. :battingeyelashes:
What is this decarb bonus you speak of?

Like you decarb to make edibles she is decarbing buds to smoke at least I think she is decarbing full buds instead of grinding it first. I think she does it at 230 degrees for 110 minutes, better let her confirm though.

We've been experimenting with longer decarb times in her Study Hall (link is in her signature). Results confirm that longer decarb dramatically increases the high. We tried 90 min at 245. Someone found report that 110 min at 230 was ideal. Fear not, we shall work tirelessly to dial in the perfect decarb parameters. Feel free to join us! :)

Oh, and Hi Weenmeoff. First time to your garden, enjoying my stay. :thumb:

Hi Ween,

It's been pure pleasure to read thru your journal....you are coming along beautifully.....I see all the professors are here as well....you have already endeared yourself to me by the PM offer awhile back; I am a proud brixer and have the kit down pat, going on my 3rd year now....so happy with the quality and consistency of the product; I harvest 3 weeks out of every month, my patients and customers are raving and rather than puff up like a banty rooster I am always humbled to no end and very very grateful....rock on, dude....

Hi Shawnee!

Welcome to my journal. Thanks for stopping in, reading through and for the compliment, it means a lot coming from a veteran brixxer. So cool that you can provide your patients with the best quality medicine around, I'm sure they appreciate you and your growing skills. Your doing excellent work, keep it up and Rock on! :theband:

Going to say hi to the girls even though they don't need anything tonight.....ha! :yummy:

Thanks Duggan! Smiles received.

WWXBB's both got GE and Carnival got RO. Basically a photo dump. I was trying to get some different angles. Gave Brix/wax10 a few nights ago. They're +56 and +8

re: Another Brix In The Wall - Sweet Pink Stink & Girl Scout

A very Merry Christmas to ya Ween,...my brotha! You are catching on quite nicely and have and are , developing some skill with your girls....so good to see. Keep up the fantastic work....try and lose those "burnt tips" next grow bud. Other than that ...your golden my friend. After ya get a few "kit" grows behind ya ...it's natural to try and lose those burnt tips , cuz all us Kit users are shooting for perfection , we're all figuring it out . The grows around here are just awesome and it's so cool to see so many of us having all this success!
Cheers bud and have an awesome Christmas.:circle-of-love::Namaste:

Hey Duggan! Thanks my Brotha! It really means a lot coming from you! I owe you a debt of gratitude for all the help you've given me with my 1st kit grow, thanks! :high-five: what causes the burnt tips? How can I avoid them going forward? Should I trim them along with dying leaves?

A very Merry Christmas to you Duggan and all that wander through my journal. :xmas: :passitleft:

Hey bud,..ya , the best advise i can give you , with those burnt tips is to remember to give two drinks of plain water or one, depending on what run of soil it is and how much you've been Drenching them. The burnt tips are caused by a few things , but mostly , too much of a good thing. Too "hot" soil ,too much Tea, too much GE. That's why Doc's. original instructions , say to give TWO drinks of plain water between those Drenches. (Brother Tard and i wish more newbies would just read those ORIGINAL instructions ) Remember bud, all the stuff we put in our pots,..stays there for the whole grow. it was only during the second full year , that some of us started giving 1/4 Transplant between Drenches with the plain water. It's NOT necessary to do that , especially with soil that's had more than one run . Third run DBHBB is way different than first run...despite efforts to keep it balanced and near like first run. Know what i mean. For instance i wouldn't be giving 1/4 Trans between Drenches if it was third run soil. It's easy to throw that "run" out of whack with too many strong Drenches and salts (if you've been growing salt lovers). First run is more forgiving and is actually hard to mess up with too much "kit" stuff. If you stick to those guidelines and have mixed and pre-cooked your DBHBB soil properly, then it's very unlikely you'le fail , as Doc and the lab have done an outstanding job of getting this "container " soil able to grow such healthy plants for many months. That's another reason i like sooo much soil under mine....it's so good , that the plants think they are outside and get stupid big buds and colas!:) Hey Ween , thanks for the kind words ....you have a fantastic Christmas with your people OK!:Namaste::high-five:

Thanks Duggan! I was flowing directions until recently when I went to only 1 plain water between drenches because I read a comment that said with big plants which mine are, you can do 1 but that was only for a couple. I will go back to 2 plain waters between drenches unless you think I should stay at 1. I am in 1st round soil, 10 gallon pots with about 3 inches form soil to top of pot (will try to get that down) band have been doing about 9ml plus 1ish ml of tea in 2 gallons of water, let me know if that is ok.

I wish. Wasn't obsessive about looking at them every day because it's hard to notice any growth.

Thank you Duggan. I'll have to hit you with reps for this. I read this and realized this is what might have happened to my soil. I ran the first two runs with only one plain water between drenches. Might this explain the curled leaves I've battled?

I'm starting over, and following directions this time, with no tearing down, but it'd be nice to figure out just what did go wrong with my first try. Not that I haven't harvested some great produce, just that we all know it could've been better.

ween, I know those "dripping with trichomes" leaves get you all excited too. :laughtwo: Looking good here. :high-five:
