Ween lately I go by trich color AND how much the girl is drinking. You can tell when a girl is finishing. Her water intake drops off quite a bit. It means she is just surviving and not swelling anymore. I have had plants with no white hairs that were still drinking like a fish, and in the end produced much more than they would have if I didn't leave them the extra time. Also watch fan leaves. If they really start shriveleing, especially the small ones around the top buds it may be time (this is usually an indicator of going too far)

Thanks Shiggity! Exactly what I needed to know. The WWXBB is drinking like a fish, 2 gallons every 3-4 days. She's not frosting up like the carnival but her buds are thick.

I got a couple lenses for my cell phone but am super disappointed. Any recommendations on a microscope lens to get trich pics?

My best cell phone closeup pics have come from taking the back cover off my phone and placing the 10x-20x-30x lenses over the cell phone lens with one hand. Then move closer and further to focus and trigger picture with the other hand.

It takes a steady hand not to 'poke' when taking a touch screen picture - sort of like squeezing instead of pulling a trigger.
I'm not so good at that part.

Thanks Rad. I need to get a good microscope lens, the ones I got were 10x and fish eye lens but neither do anything, total crap. $10 down the drain, you get what you pay for I guess.

My white widow X big bud clone was taken on 9/15 and she is going in the bloom tent tonight. She is pretty short and bushy but I clipped off a bunch of bottom growth.

Wwxbb looks great buddy. Actually a strain I was looking at for my next grow, guess there is alot of blokes that grow this strain because it is so nice. That plant sure is bushy! Have a great day further bru and keep it airie

Thanks Pat! The WWXBB in bloom for about 48 days has some really big buds but not much resin packing on or much smell to her at all. I'll let you know how she turns out.

Nice and frosty ween. How far behind me are you? Mine comes down in the morning at day 143. She's been under 13.5/10.5 so she's finishing early.

Mine frosted up nicely below the top, but yours got much frostier than mine, by the looks of it.

Hi Sue! I think I am about 15 days behind you. How many days since flip? Mine is +49. I am pretty disappointed with the buds and am hoping they will fill in and frost hasn't increased much since it first showed up. Smell is amazing, citrusy pine-ish.

Did you mean 10.5/13.5? Isn't it on/off like 18/6, 20/4, etc....?

Either way, your Carnival looks amazing! It's gonna be a great yield.

My first harvest was White Widow. The 10-30 day after harvest smoke delivered giggles and trippy effects including mild auditory hallucinations (like the 'ocean' sound of a seashell - but in a cone shape.) The later harvests (6-10) didn't have the same level of trippyness.

My other 2 are +53. They're still drinking like fish. Carnival is still swelling but very slowly. WWXBB does not really appear to be swelling. Both are just starting to change colors. Trichs vary from clear to cloudy to amber, least amount amber. I'm thinking 8-10 days on WWXBB and 10-14 days on Carnival. What do you all think?

I think you'll get significant calyx swelling if you let them go a bit longer. Growth Energy. Brix.

Hey rad! As soon as my 1st harvest drys, I'll have a whole extra 4X4 tent but at the same time I don't really have room for it inside which is where the veg/soon to be bloom tent must go because it's getting cold in the garage. Stuff I need to think about. Even the 4 big ones alone is too much for the 4X4, DOH!


Just game em a good brixing. I made up this cheat sheet to refer to and am wondering if someone can look it over to make sure I'm not doing something wrong.

Foliar sprays:
Brix 1 ounce to 32 Ounces Sprayed every week to 10 days,
Destress is .5 ounces per 32 ounces This can be sprayed 1-2 times per week when there are signs of plant stress. If the plants look "perfect" there is no reason to spray with De-Stress. Also, mixed at 50% strength it helps high brix clones root much faster.
Drenches (for me this is top watering in #10's):
GE is 10ml plus 2ml of tea in 2 gallons of water per plant
¼ Trans is 1.5ml per gallon
Trans Drench is 30ml plus 2.5ml of tea for my 4 #10's so 7.5ml plus .6ml of tea in 2 gallons of water each
#1 Dunks:
Trans 6ml plus 1ml of tea in 1.5 gallons of water
GE 5ml plus 1ml of tea I 1.5 gallons of water

Thanks Sue! This is still all for my GF, I will take a couple samples but that's about it. I will have her try the decarb thing. My HD doesn't have pro mix, had to go to the garden center. Happy for your Carnival harvest and that its exceeding your expectations!
