Amy Gardner Of Eden: Perpetually Organic

Oooh oooh terrific grow/space/critter update! I don't know where to begin :).

Looks like I already have.

The new box is art as is the fan placement (life imitating art anyway), and I love the fact that you are cloning now, having resisted the temptation for all sorts of reasons prior.

I look forward to the plinth, though I would imagine that the coming spring will raise the temps in the box without any work on your part, so...nicely timed!

a nice body high, so I’m curious how yours does.
A great end of the day smoke for me.
I had to come back to this to say how accurate that thing is that you say there, Luiz. Absolutely it is great end of the day smoke - for me because I find no matter what time of day I toke it, it turns out to be the end of the day!

get the sense Juan is making me a pot as I roll one up
I think of this often as I make coffee -
 :hugs:
Love the new veg box, darlin'.
So wonderful that you have a new space.
:hugs: Wanted to come back to this and say thanks to you for that. Hope you lIke the (mostly) finished version.

It is wonderful to have a hew space and to work at waist height. I hope you’ve been finding relief from pain and space to rest yourself :ciao:

Sour Bubba :adore::snowboating::drool:
Thanks :high-five: I agree! It’s out of the tent and in my room with me now for the night - to prep for harvest. And it’s very admirable indeed :cheesygrinsmiley:
Very nice setup Amy. So clean, so tight, so satisfying! Ticks all my minimalist boxes.

Love the kangaroo posse. What a lovely world you've got there.

How have you found the Sour Bubba? I may or may not have some Bubba's Breath and Bubba's Sis seeds on the way
Thanks Sy! SB has been a pleasure to grow - gorgeous looking and vigorous. I’m realising the smell is more present than Ive thought and it definitely hollows the nostrils the way that fuel does. SO I’m really looking forward to the early tokes with a few buds i will set aside to quick-dry when I harvest (I put them on top of the growlight and they dry in a day or 2 ;) ) so I will let you know more then!

I’m endlessly grateful for my forest and critter family - they’re out there again this evening.

Oooh oooh terrific grow/space/critter update!
:high-five: Thanks buddy!

Phewf! Imagine getting stuck at the beginning!

:thumb: I knew you would notice ‘plinth’ :laughtwo: :reading420magazine:

Love the box build
:thanks:

Oh yes I’ve gone down the Randall Carlson and Graham Hancock rabbit hole before, very interesting stuff about our earth’s history.
Me too. I really like Randall.
Watched a bunch of his lectures. Fascinating fella.

I really do like it. It's inspiring me. I'm now thinking about adding some modified shoji panels to enclose my clone area. It's a metal fish tank stand so I could mount them using large magnets.
Like I need another project.
I built a platform for my 2x2. It isn't quite waist height but rather mid thigh. Most everything is accessible. I may have built it one inch too tall. I can't see into the front window unless I'm on my tippy toes. I may need to build a step stool or cut the legs on the platform. Maybe wear heels when I garden??

Holy smokes. I'm a stoned rambler.
:ganjamon: Have a good day, dear.

Fantastic work on the grow box and the write-up! I really like that you placed it high enough off the ground to minimize awkward bending. I would have given you double  on the reaction icon if they had that option. :welldone:

Beautiful new grow space Amy.
Thanks otter! I’m stoked w it. Small and functional - a favourite combination!

:laughtwo: step stool would be my option ... Heels pose too much risk to my ankles

But that reminded me - I need to put a window or peep hole in the front panel. I’m wondering if I can install a door peep hole thing ... :hmmmm:

I was very inspired by all your new spaces and totally admire the work you did to get them there. You deserve a good break from it! Always something we want to do/make tho, right?

i love a stoned ramble as much as the next stoner! :D

You too m’lovely

Thanks thirteen!

I think Roos are absolutely untrainable :laughtwo: they eat they sleep they come and go when they please... did you raead the story on the 420 main page about a drone weed drop over Tel Aviv - some canna activist activity :thumb:

most are made for door thickness
yes I’ve been wondering about that. This will be nowhere near that thick. I prob’ly really only need a little window of some kind so i can check the environmental conditions without opening the box
sure you and your crew will figure it out.
:thumb:

NO doubt! But please don’t hesitate to share any ideas :) That goes for everyone actually

I saw that article, really cool stuff. In the future that will be the norm. I think I read where the Zon got site license for US domestic drone delivery worked out.

Yes try before you buy, the peephole lens might give fish eye effect. I had considered a baby video monitor or 1 camera from a home WiFi security but it’s more than I want to spend when the grow is right here. You will figure something out, that I’m sure of...!!

there ya go Shed to the rescue..... maybe Velcro?

who is this chick?!!! :laughtwo:
I too was completely distracted. :high-five:
Panama, gentle giant or lurking menace??

:ciao: Update: Panama

Happy happy days!

I cant really say it was 12/12 from seed - more like 11/13 from 10days old. Pretty close to it tho. THe thickness of the main cola has me slightly-nervously watching the humidity and being relieved it’s a sativa that, maybe, might have slightly more airy buds! :nervous-guy:

It’s not ready, but it’s close. Today marks exactly 9weeks in flower (since pistils).

These first few pics are from about 5 days ago - some iPhone closeups :D

Obviously no pink stigmas  No problem... I mean really, look at it! How could one have a problem with such a lovely beast? Here she is yesterday in all her glory!

And this beautiful lower fan leaf is bringing me some hints of the autumn all my northern hemisphere buds are enjoying now...

I have been noticing what seems like similarities to the DDAs. The Panama has had some rEally similar lavender, pepper and minty mango smells. And that fan leaf fade is similar to what I’ve seen in DDA as well.

Smell-wise, I noticed yesterday that the lavender has softened to something sweeter and much less ‘cleaning product’ like. The overall effect was very astringent before, and mush sfoter ad lightly floral now. Changing smells can indicate ripening so hopefully we are getting close.

Here’s the top cola again as of yesterday. Not ready enough to look at trichomes. Hopefully only days away tho’.

I’ve reduced the lights - only Panama and the DDA are in there now so they can have less light whole Panama finishes. I expect not more than another week ...

:Namaste:

Nope-photoperiod. But that’s part of the experiment - growing photos “11/13 from seed“ but cheating a bit by having a veg light cycle for 1-2weeks to get them going. I’m hoping thi approach will allow me to ‘audition’ more varieties - particularly to grow out some of the pure sativas to try. Keeping them small with a quick-ish turnaround :)

I'm using these wireless cameras.

They are cheap, standalone (just needing to be USB-powered), wireless and a cinch to set up! You can then monitor them via an app on your phone/computer.

Loving this Amy. I'm definitely going to have to try this for any "sativa" leaners I want to gamble on growing in my micro (nano?) spaces. :thumb:
