Update Critical Mass - day 59
I feel like I should add a disclaimer about the kit with all my posts atm. Both my standard kit grow and my custom soil grow are kinda wayward, or slightly improvised, for different reasons. They won’t always be but I wouldn’t want anyone to get the wrong impression about the kit.
This plant was the star of early veg and then went into flower super fast after the solstice, like, within a week. The days are still longer than 12hrs I’m fairly sure. Maybe I’ve stressed it into flower, or maybe some dark stormy days. In any case it has many pistils in every top now.
It’s in the raised bed along with the recently applied custom ammendment and went in sooner than is ideal so right now I’m just hoping it makes it through the next week or so ok. It’s survived the first week
A bit of new growth kicking in after the GI drench the other day. I’ll get some better pics once it gets through the next little while and we’ll see how it fared.
It’s central tops were looking really long today so I decided to tie them down to continue keeping things low. I remember the Critical Mass x Afghani I grew last year was pretty damn rangey during this stage, but with all the pistils showing already I’m not sure how much stretch to expect. Time will tell.

Hey Ames, found ya.. Told you I would when you got to the outdoor growing.. LOL... You gonna love that Critical Mass, my girl/friend grew two outdoors last year.. IDK if I posted a pic anywhere but they turned out good at 6' tall and at least that in diameter as well.. Super heavy producers as well.. I am still in possession of about an ounce of that great smoke for my personal stash.. Green days Sis, I will be watching ( and dreaming)... LOL

Thanks folks! Things in the garden are quite well. I’ve been enjoying the relief of having all the up-potting for the summer done at last so having no more 1gal pots to tend to, phew! Much more restful.
Drenches, Foliars and rain and heat have all been happening and I’ll update later tomorrow...
In the meantime, I have to share my excitement about a little Christmas present I bought myself with some Christmas dollars...
I’ve been bit bummed for a while that I don’t have the energy to make any hash (@newty ). I’ve been thinking about getting bubble-bags and doing it like Duggan, or getting a screen so I can dry sift. But both of these would cost money I don’t and still require me to have extra capacity and get someone in to help me. ... I can just see it never happening... so! ...
A few days ago i realised there were some Christmas dollars (a gift) sitting in my account so I splashed out on this! It’s way better than the plastic one I’ve been using for over a year (it was a storZ and Bickel, so not total crap, but still, plastic) and look at its features...
Mini hash collection every time I chop up!

Easy way to clean them is just keep a bit of rubbing alcohol in a mason jar then toss the grinder in their in pieces and shake. Then after a couple years of that let the alcohol evaporate. Be some hash residing there.

Things are changing so quickly and I really liked these shapes... so I’ll drop this picture from yesterday, just to reassure myself that I do still have a garden.
All babies transplanted and everyone is still growing and green... so all good
