Do you grow autos under artificial lights? Whats the point there? I thought those are for outdoors, where 12/12 starts too late, too cold.

Even if they are nice etc, you can't really have any guarantee becuase of shipping time/costs. They also produce a lot of stuff for the west without using it actually - means missing know how, which is really needed in such a business.
The thread in your sig is promising (for US people, since they have no service in eu). Also they might produce replicas with same specs, but worse quality materials. That renders any led light useless.

This is true that they do not have any service in the eu yet but they did say that they send parts etc if needed and if not if sure you can send it back or whatever maybe theyll cover costs ill have to ask once the time comes to purchasing a light. they have suppliers in the uk or germany forgot but maybe you send it there and they exchange it or something. Also they just mentioned that they are the original manufactures that have the patent of the reflective led hoods in china they just uploaded it today with pics so maybe they are really as good as they claim then i am really looking forwards to getting a light from them. i dont see much that potentially go wrong with an led light if manufactured correctly and they get original epistar chips etc so i think they really are a good company making solid products ill let you all know in around 40 days or so when we start getting closer to the end of the grow and ive decided whats what and if the two gifts were received and what the verdict is of them.
 
It can be a pain when your in mid flower and gotta wait even just a week (wont be that quick) for a new led driver ac unit, or anything that stops your lamp from working altogether!
I'd feel only safe if i had a ~same spectra backup lamp too.
 
all good points, Be careful Max. I've ordered quite a few things from China, some very good and quick delivery. Other things were very cheap and customer service practically non existent. I've even had instances where they e-mailed me back in completely broken english, that was a trip lol.
Lot of DOA products that I returned and never got a refund or exchange, policy was we both send at same time. the asshole called imperial mail and had his package returned while I got screwed holding the crap end of a stick. this happened twice with 2 different companies. I've had packages never even arrive and no one would respond to my e-mails. There are no american laws that will help the consumer for products purchased direct from China. At least with US companies you get that peace of mind.
We're all just looking out for you bro :) a backup plan is a great idea, in case it falls through. :thumb:

my best advice would be to comb through forums about peoples reviews on the company, but sometimes this can be misleading too. What I've learned over the years is China sometimes does some shady business practices and pays people to write those reviews. Best of luck nonetheless, Hope it all works out in the end. If it is a sound product keep us posted, I'd love to have a good working LED for a bargain price

Early days I snapped my main stem and taped it up. Went on to grow well. It outgrown its tape like the Incredible Hulk :)

Thank you fish yes second harvest is the plan but still need to leave tiny stuff at the very bottom for re veg :)
Would u recommend harvesting top a tiny shade early so the second stage harvest doesn't go to far past maturity?

nope only chop when its done. the little stuff will just have to get smoked with the big stuff I guess.
but another week shouldn't hurt much:)
 
I think pay pay does offer a degree of safety max that seems to be a plus :)
Fish it does make sense that way. Why have the little buds perfect and the big ones not lol best the other way around with the littles being couch lock

You can let popcorn go longer, they ripen slower too!
If you wait until the top colas look best, and harvest the small ones a week or 2 later, it will be best for both!
Did this last harvest, was really pleased with results. After harvesting popcorn you will still be able to keep her alive, ther's a lot of power in those huge roots!
