Alex's - SCROG - 620 Watt CFL's - Actual Wattage - Super Lemon Haze

I have never grown a auto and don't think I will. Like Alex said, if your only growing 1or2 then there is little time difference growing and most yeilds from autos just don't seem worth the soil:)
thats just me.
Now if you were doing a SoG with many plants it might be worth it IMHO
 
YEP ITS THAT BIT BEING ABLE TO WORK THEM, (didnt mean to have caps on) we can work out when to put them into flower:green_heart:

If you want something fast and low, or you've got a shit summer in the garden, then its perfect:) Ive had good returns on autos, at least an oz per plant in less than 70 days. Outdoors in G.B. theres nothing faster.

My idea behind it was that I will be growing one from seed and getting an auto clone for the time that the seedling needs to get to be ready for flower that was the idea and seeing as it'll be a clone there's Lready like 2weeks off the time till the auto is done. Was just a thought. They got three different auto clones at the store ones mazer another is critical I think I'll have a look again and let you know. The critical sounded good. Maybe in an airport coco or something. We shall see still like 45+ days to go till that choice can be made.

it matters most what the temps are at the canopy boss. check your temps there:)
 
ok what is your light schedule? and what kind of venting are you using.
I know this obligatory info but if you run your lights at night you can cheat a few degrees out of that. also if it stays that warm you could make you a Co2 generator and help offset the temps. other than that good luck brother:)

I really do appreciate the help fish cake, means a lot. for venting S&P 100X 130 CFM, I'm using diminishing GLR during the day when I have the AC on from 7AM-7PM, night time AC goes off. I thought about C02 but I would need a sealed space, right? I feel if I seal my cabinet temps will easily go over 100F... Do you think an HPS with cool tube would get temps down vs the 450 actual watts of CFL I'm currently using? Sorry for all the questions I just don't know what else to do at this point.
 
yes I think the cool tube would help most certainly. CFLs can give of as much heat or more than the same wattage of a HPS or MH.
as far as the Co2 thing goes I have just let it do its thing in the hot weather.I dont use a fancy tent but have just let the the tube hang down in the canopy. it is cheap and worth a try if you dont have any other options. you may be surprised:) or how ever you spell it:)

I think the cool tube is an excellent idea

My cooling is as follows.... One 6" fan pointing at my lights
A bathroom extractor fan built in the wall of me grow room pulling air out of the cool bedroom into the warm grow room. I have aluminium ducting running from my extractor fan to the canopy of my grow.
This manages to keep the canopy temperature a few degrees higher than the bedroom tempreture.
Today's been a hot day here and Canopus been 87-88 all day
I used to have an a ocelating fan I too but for some reason when this was on the room temp went up I guess it was whooshing all the hot air around cancelling out the cool extractor fan air

My grows pretty basic I have next to bill knolage of co2 so I can't comment on that

I would suggest u go with a 400 watt cool tube u can suspend that 16" above the canopy and it will return better results than cfl
 
No RICO iv clearly miss worded things again and made myself look an idiot lol
I ment if I was thinking of autos I'd not go for autos but go for a general strain of choice
Give it no veg time at all just go 12/12 from seed
The plants usually will show pistils buy 16-18 days

Regarding to your problem and i looked at your grow area ive been doing some reading into LEDs and will be giving them a go for the next grows after this ones completed. I dont know how much it would be to get a cool tube, ballast, light etc, for your space. but i was thinking about getting an LED for my pc grow as well and there is one that would cover your space i think aswell and costs around 170 US check out the link in my sig for the company. They are running a gift give away of two lights and getting feedback and general info from what growers want from their product its looking really interesting if anyone is looking to take the next step into a more greener grow no pun intended :P i suggest giving the whole thread a read theres some really interesting stuff thats been said there.

Back on point though LEDs would solve your problems significantly as they emit a lot less heat and in turn run up to 50,000+ hours so i think they are a solid investment. Just another solution to your problem maybe :)

I use a regulator for aquariums, its perfect! With a little calculation you can figure how much co2 you need and put it on timer.
 
I read the first page and the last. Has anyone been given the sample lights? Of is the company dragging there feet hoping ppl be friend them and send money for products they don't receive?
I don't mean to sound negative. Although I do sound it lol
I'm very very skeptical of companies using broken English
Especially based in china or africa
 
They get chosen on the 15th of July. Someone's already bought a light and received it in 4 days or something from china to the us. Free shipping with FedEx and 3 year warranty. About the broken English I don't think that's fair. They are trying and contacting their market segment directly which is awesome there are other points which make to seem legit. We will see on the 15th I guess. But I think thier a legit business making a solid product.
