i agree hps give off plenty of heat, my grow door is open now we are in summer, its getting hot in the grow room, got fans on high doing their job,

cfls are great for starting plants, i will always use cfl for the first week or 2, then they all go under dual spectrum hps for veg then flower,

@AleX, is that a staff in your avatar, i got a staff, my last one looked exactly the same as the one in your pic, in fact id have to say it is my dog, lol, my last staff used to love the snow, he find a snow ball and carry it in his mouth for miles, he would wait outside the shop and put snow ball on the floor, then walk home with it in his mouth, then he would eat it and puke everywhere.

my new staff is huge, like a staff on steroids, problem is he thinks he is a cat, i got him when he was 8months old, his last owner got him as puppy but she had a cat and this cat obvisously bought this staff up, now my dog thinks he is a cat, when he sees other dogs he gets down low to the ground and crawls like a cat stalking its prey,
best dogs by far, its the only breed i will have now, loves kids, problem is little dogs keep attacking him, not sure why but they do, he just lies down and lets them bite him, it dont bother him so clearly not hurting him, he just sits their taking it, he wont take it from a bigger dog though, they only got to look at him wrong and he will go for them,

but if they dont bark and show signs of aggresion then he just sits down and lets them come over and play with him, loves swimming in the river, their easy dogs to train as well,

Interesting first post GF.
welcome to the best site on the planet to share a grow with:) oh that would be :420:
Shit love does pixs!! Hope mine will be that good!! :bravo:

Damn I thought I was signed up to this journal already no wonder I didn't get any notices in my E-mail. Well I will now. Nice grow and setup; I've been revegging and cloning SLH for two years now and like it a lot.

Hey didn't realise I'd re-vegged also. And slh too that's great to no that's went well I assume as uv been doing it so long. As I'm sure uv read its my first attempt at re veg so hopefully it goes well designing a new hood to veg her under that will accommodate 4xt5s and 2 x 125 watt CFls

Man I always subscribe to threads and al be thinkin...... I wonder were "joe blogs" has gone his journal was cool. I check in and iv mist 20 pages lol I must knock the in subscribe button with my clumsy thumb lol

Don Paul.... Yes it's a staff :) I got him at 18 months old. Best dog iv ever had he's been a good friend through challenging times and such a good dog in general. He's 6 now. He's total opposite with cats man he hates them with a passion. As for other dogs... When I'm walking him he will walk on and not batter An eye lid. When the mrs walks him he thinks mike Tyson wanting to brawl with anything!

Iv got kids and he is great with them. The breed gets nothing but bad press were I live. But it is such a minority of the breed. There the closest thing to pit bulls u can own here so the gang freaks buy them to fight them and bad owners = bad dogs.
Mine and the vast majority are lovely dogs hate the press they get

you cant go wrong with a reveg, after harvest just leave small buds and a few small side branches at the bottom of the plant, then add a weak veg feed to put something back in the soil if grown in soil, then 2 to 3 weeks later the plants back in veg.

im sure you wont have any problems with the reveg, but you do get some crazy growth at first, then you get a real bushy plant after with many branches,

Shit love does pixs!! Hope mine will be that good!! :bravo:

Hello hello thank you and welcome ;)
To as sir fishcake said..... The best god dam site on the plannet
What are u growing?

that sounds awesome i want to try a reveg someday. I love dogs my last two died within a month of each other i wasn't to thrilled about that but was told like 2 months after that they had both died.

On a brighter note alex are you going to be doing a 48hour darkspell?

LOL I got 4 dogs I'm going to kill if they don't quit staring at me:):circle-of-love:

i have to keep my dog on the lead when i walk him, he walks great off the lead but people get a bit scarred and start screaming and shouting if he runs over to say hello, mines called tyson, its the name he was given by his old owners,
mines a big softy, my moms cat scares the crap out of him, when i take him my moms if he sees my moms cat come in the house he runs off and goes and hides in my moms bedroom, then he keeps sneaking out the room and comes down the starts slowly, but if he sees the cat look at him he slowly turns round and creeps back up the stairs,

i guess he was used to living with a cat and thinks their all friendly, but my moms cat hates dogs and when my dog ran in the house on day and the car was their the cat hissed and spat at him and jump on him and tried scratching his eyes out, he not gone near that cat since, my dogs pretty big for a staff but a big softy most the time,

they get used a lot for fighting where i live and all the kids walk the streets with them as some sort of weapon, so they get a bad press here also, but all my staffs have been great, i only had 1 that hated anything that moves and that was the last staff i had, she hated dogs and cats and anything else small and fluffy,

but tyson is a great dog, easy to train and so placid, the kids can do anything to him and he just sits their and dont bat an eye lid, when i walk him i got people crossing the road to avoid him, he is pretty big and people are scared of him but when they get to know him and see how soft he really is they dont mind then,

but no one would mess with me when im out with my dog, so guess thats a good thing, but yep they sure do get a bad press, kids train them to attack people and abuse them to be nasty and we know these dogs can be vicious, they would rip anyone to pieces if they was trained to act like that, mine would really do some damage if he was nasty, if be scared of him if he turned on me because of how big he is, but treat them right and good training and their as good a gold, by far the best breed of dog i have ever had, its why my last 3 dogs have been staffs,

im thinking of breeding mine because of his size but the people i spoke with said it would be difficult to breed him because of how big he is, they recon the female needs to have a bigger head than the male for breeding, this stops the female having problems when giving birth, but ive not seen any staff thats bigger than mine let alone a female with a bigger head, so hopefully i find someone to breed him with at some point because i know the pups would be pretty decent size,

mine looks pretty similar to yours mines like a dark brindle with white patch just like yours under his neck, my last staff was brindle with white socks this one is brindle with white patch on his chest,

Fish cake Kane always stares at me when I'm stoned. Iv sat there before on a head trip imagining what I'd do if he started talking like the dog on American pie... Or was it road trip. Anyway yea that would be tripy.

DonP
That's crazy about your staff with cats but it makes sense u bring up a monkey with a human he thinks he's a human. A dog with a cat he's guna think he's a cat lol
The thing about the head size I'd not heard before. Would make sense but if I'm correct there head is soft and round as puppy's right? And it's months later when there skull "cracks" and they get a big fuk off head lol
Kane is the biggest staff most healthy lad on my estate because he's always been fed well and well walked plus musts had good geenes of course
Ppl also cross over when we pass. Well not so much on the estate as they no he's good now but if we trek further out its as if I'm walking a tiger by the looks you get off ppl

Back to the breeding. My dad had the biggest staff iv seen he died last year but he spread his seed all over the country first lol the amount of bitches he pupped was unreal. Only thing to remember is take the bitch to the dog.
If I can find a pik of the big boy il post it. I'm sure there was no problems with his litters

Also Kane is always on lead :) if something was to happen to a dog that ran at him when he's on his lead that's not my fault then that's the owner of the dogs of its lead fault
