yea alaskan1 your journal is going along nicely...weird how that one plant isnt growing. looks healthy and alive from the looks of things but then you see the size of the others and you kind of know somethings up...well if it does start to grow you'll have a little runt lol

I have 3 runt dogs, I have NO need for a runt plant as well thank you very much sir lol
well the clones you cut from my white russian and white widow should be some strong growers for ya. you can feed these ones alot. i have my PPM at 1300 for all 3 and had no burnt tips until this morning. i checked the PPMs and the widow was at 1550 somehow and had a tiny bit of burned tips here and there. any who you'll like these ones

we use a concrete mixer (new just for the garden) to wash the hydroton and add a small bottle of Hydrogen peroxide to clean them after use. After the first batch, no more red dust....We get H2O2 at the dollar store

Well, Last night had a few issues :O
The flo n gro got stuck in flood mode and the plants sat in nute water for a few hours. The pump inside the controller came loose (damn suction cups) and lost it's prime somehow. Reset the pump in the proper place and moved the float and the pump started working and removed the water from the buckets. YAY!
I need to pay a little closer attention to whats going on. I had seen that the system was in flood mode but didn't look at the timer. Had I, I might have caught it sooner.
PH was up to 6.2 again so I adjusted that back down to 5.6
The Headcheese has issues again. Pretty sure one of the plants is battling root rot again. Bubbles everywhere and is not drinking much water. At least not compared to the other plant. Other plant is sucking up at least a gallon of water/nutes per day. Readjusted the PH back to 5.5 in both and I think I'm off to the hydro shop to get some hygrozyme. See if that helps.
On an up note, one of the little lemon kush plants has FINALLY taken off and started growing. Now lets just hope it's a girl and NOT a boy!

ahh man bummer about that pump. i really hope its a nute problem in your water rather than root rot. i really would be bummed if you lost a plant to RR.

Should have some soon as I am setting up my DIY EZ Cloner and will pop a couple of them in there.
Aw man, bummer about the probs. I've never had an issue like that with mine, and I hope I don't either. Sure hope you don't have root rot - that sucks to deal with. Good news on the Lemon Kush though.
Glad you caught the flooding thing when you did - I don't always pay that close of attention to mine anymore as it's been so automatic for me - I do honestly worry that I'll get burned bad one of these days for taking it for granted. I pretty much just check the PH and change the reservoir once a week (as far as the Flo N Gro - I spend a lot of time training the plants themselves right now).
But, I've thought of the pump thing before, and realized that I've got the hose just the right length and bent in such a way that it kind of keeps itself in place. I don't know how to explain that, but it's cut to a length and there is a little bend, and when the lid is closed, it kind of puts downward pressure keeping the pump in place. I've just eyed it up for this fear before and realized that I lucked into a pretty good way to have it connected. Not sure if there is a way that you could do that or not. Food for thought, maybe...

OK, I have some white widow and white russian in the cloner! For shits n giggles I also did a head cheese, peanut butter kush and I'm starting a mother plant for chief!!! AK47 BABY!!
