Aw man, bummer about the probs. I've never had an issue like that with mine, and I hope I don't either. Sure hope you don't have root rot - that sucks to deal with. Good news on the Lemon Kush though.
Glad you caught the flooding thing when you did - I don't always pay that close of attention to mine anymore as it's been so automatic for me - I do honestly worry that I'll get burned bad one of these days for taking it for granted. I pretty much just check the PH and change the reservoir once a week (as far as the Flo N Gro - I spend a lot of time training the plants themselves right now).
But, I've thought of the pump thing before, and realized that I've got the hose just the right length and bent in such a way that it kind of keeps itself in place. I don't know how to explain that, but it's cut to a length and there is a little bend, and when the lid is closed, it kind of puts downward pressure keeping the pump in place. I've just eyed it up for this fear before and realized that I lucked into a pretty good way to have it connected. Not sure if there is a way that you could do that or not. Food for thought, maybe...

Yeah the root rot sucks but I went to my hydro store and bought hygrozyme. You could see it taking action the moment I added it to the 5 gal bucket. Cross your fingers everyone.

Nah, they should be just fine! Did it with the head cheese with no ill effects
But since your plants are SO small it might not hurt to let them grow awhile LOL

haha i hear ya on that, i'll probably just flip them on schedule this saturday, i'm tired of vegging already i want to hurry up and get this grow going. thanx for the tip on that. good luck on your expanding grow. this is getting real interesting over here

Next grow should be a lot better, The air conditioning will be installed so I'll be able to control temps a lot better. Also, just going to have a indica dom grow and the one after that will be a sativa dom grow in the 3rd tent.
Timing will be a TON better this time around so the clones will be in MUCH better condition when they are started. This time it was kinda thrown together except for the blueberry, mojo and hawaiian big bud.
I'm hoping I can start a new grow every month or so.

Your root problem was caused by tent failure, you need another one.

ok, new update. it's a bad news, good news kinda update.
Bad news first.
Got my DIY Ez Cloner going last night. During the night it developed a leak at the seal and I woke up to water all over the counter and the floor. During testing it never leaked at all so not sure what happened there. Quick run to home depot this morning and got some waterproof seal and currently it's back going again and no water leaking now.............yet. Time will tell.
Good News
Went and checked my plants this morning and the plants have just taken off. I swear they grew overnight. Really happy about that!
On another note I see that Xlr8 has the lead in voting at the moment for MOTM. Congrats to you X, Everyone on that list deserves to win. Actually, I think they are all winners already and everyone knows it.

ahhh no! i hope the clones turn out fine..if not you can get some more clones off me i dont mind i still have another day till i flip. good news when your plants have a growth spurt im glad to read something positive on here
Hey buddy! Great news about the plant growth - bummer about the cloner, but sounds like you've got a fix going. Did you end up going with any kind of a humidity dome for it?

I'm still working on the humidity dome. I may have to make something up myself since nothing I have come across will work right. Either too long, too short, too narrow, too wide lol
I did end up getting my ez cloner leak free finally. Working like a charm. Mow lets just hope I get some clones outta the deal!

Had what looks to be some excellent growth over night. I mean my jaw kinda dropped when I opened the tent and saw them. I need to top these kids! In 5 days they have drank 10 gallons of water and have been munchin on nutes. I can see the PPM drop every day. Things seem to be going well right now.
so many good journals to keep up with, all looking great as well

'ello! Very nice. I like alot of the strains your growing, very interesting. I would LOVE to grow God Bud.
I was hoping you'd stop by, always nice when one of the better growers looks in !
I got the God Bud on a whim. My son owns a dispensary here in Washingtonand from time to time we go elsewhere just to look in on others. They had ONE God Bud clone sitting there. Looked pretty weak but I took the chance I could bring it back around. Soon as it gets big enough I'll be taking a clone from it while it's in veg to make it into a mother plant.
my journals my first as well, the last time i grew a plant was getting on 9 years ago, and it got abused pretty bad, it started off in a small cupboard and under an old street light which i believe was a sodium light then the landlord came round and we managed to sneak it out while he was in the other room, then it went onto a mates window ledge for a few weeks, then we noticed it was starting to flower so we found somewhere we could put it back under the lights to veg, thinking the plant was to small to veg, as it was 1 foot high, so we vegd it till it was about 2 ft high and then turned it to flower, when it finished it was getting on 6ft tall, we took cuttings with rooting gel and placed them in compost and they all lived and when the plant finished flowering we got loads of it, but back then i wasnt worried about the ph or nute content, we just waterd it and had timer on the lights as i didnt know anything about growing so wasnt concerned about anything, but now i started another grow using cfl's i decided to do some research and noticed how much their was in growing a good plant, so thats what im trying to do, or maybe im just worrying to much and caring for them to much, i mean the jack flash i grew 9 years ago produced just over 9oz when dry and that was even after we fast dried some to smoke while it was drying properly, the results where amazing and i loved jack flash as it was fruity and tangy, but with the plant been abused and not really looked after it done really well, not once did we check ph, the lights wasnt always turned on and off at the exact time due to the persons who's house we was using running out of electric and this happend on more than 1 occasion well i would say more than 10, but the plant didnt suffer and the buds where so tight and it smoked real nice, one of the best smokes ive had, and i got results like that without even thinking about what i was doing or what was best for the plant, so maybe this grow im worrying to much and going ott with the learning curve, but im using cfl's so want to make sure i get the most, but after all these plants are weeds so should be pretty hardy, but their the best damn weeds anyone can grow.
