Aberration Goes Ker Bloom! - Perpetual

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

First, catching up:

Code:
9/28/09
-------
Just 1/2 gal plain water to hold MTO2 over 'til tomorrow.

Harvested MTN2. Will do OC1 and 3 ASAP.

Hmm, im sure you would love the BigBuddah Cheese, good flavor great high.
For the indica , you would also love Sensi Star brother this strain is the shit!

If you can find it C99 is a great sativa

I'll look into those - thanks!

I wasn't aware of the different types of flushes. I new u could with and/or w/out nutes. thanks 4 helping bring clarity. + rep if I can. Nice post.

No problem. To be honest, I caught some flak from my mentor for that post. He thinks we should stay quiet about our flushing regime. I told him that would be just silly. Besides, I already posted it. ;)

That couchlock Indica that you're wanting? : Try Northern Lights.

Thanks. I did look at that and I believe I will go with it.

On the heady sativa, I've read good reviews on Satori, from Mandala Seeds.

Malawi Gold from Afro Pips sounds really good too. They even have a "mini" version for indoor growers.

I've also heard good things about both of those. :D

---

Finally, MTN1 and OC5 have been manicured, dried and jarred. A good part of MTN1 got mixed up with OC5, but it's all Orange Crush so it's not a big deal. The totals are:

Code:
15.4 oz MTN1
25.7 oz MTN1/OC5 mix
 4.5 oz MTN1/OC5 fluff
----------------------
45.6 oz total (2.85 lbs.!)

    which works out to

22.8 oz/plant average

Holy shit!

Pardon my language, but I am floored by this. This far exceeds my wildest expectations. In fact, this exceeds my last 6-plant harvest (40.5 oz) with just 2 plants, and I still have one Matty drying and 3 more that aren't even cut down yet.

More importantly, I need to get rid of some immediately, as I am over my legal 24 oz limit by a good bit. I know some med users who are going to love me today. I'm headed out to play "Sativa Claus" as soon as I finish this post.

There was a good bit of fluffy crap on the bottoms of the plants. It is smokeable, but I'll probably hash it and/or make edibles. As for the rest, between the sativa nature of OC and the 2 heat 'incidents' they went through, it is somewhat airy bud, but certainly good enough. It is also covered in trichomes and has a good stone to it.

So I'm quite happy right now. Time to roll up a celebratory zeppelin. :grinjoint:

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

Oh, I forgot the picture.

My bountiful harvest:

090929-bountifull-harvest.JPG

I weighed it out in 29 g 'ounces'. It's easier that way. The four 1-gallon jars in the back have 4 oz each. The pint jars in a row across the middle hold 14.5 g each, except one, which has almost a half-ounce of fluffy bud and shake packed in. The rest of the jars (quart) are 1 oz each.

Four more plants to go.

Damn man, see? I don't even try and its like friction follows me. Sorry bout that. Maybe he just wants his protege to shine and protect tricks of the trade. Can't blame him, especially if he worked hard to devise this regimen. Props to ur mentor for developing this regimen. Its looks like it working great for u.

I'll be the first to say WOW!

What a tasty haul!

Don't smoke too much and crash the Santa sled, lol.

LOL! Thanks.

Don't worry. He'll be fine. ;)

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

Lite night huh? Just in time for the weekend. U harvest the Mantanuska yet? That's KK now right? I was wondering what it smells and tastes like? I had a thunderfuck strain last year and want to know is it the same one. It was called Alaskan Thunderfuck but I wonder if dude just called it that because he couldn't remember Mantanuska (which is in Alaska).

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

The first Matanuskan Thunderfuck (MTN2) is down and drying. Actually, a quart jar of it is curing, but most of it is still drying. It did not produce nearly as much pot as the first two plants. I think I needed to work her a bit more and for a bit longer in veg.

Early indications is that it is just like what I know from previous Matty: Frosty and very stoney. Over-dries very easily. Not much smell or flavor. I mix it with another strain that is more flavorful but less potent at smoke-time. It is powerful workhorse medicine for my knees in the daytime.

I just have to learn the plant, because they can be a bit temperamental sometimes.

By the way, thanks for stopping in regularly and for the MoM nomination. :)

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

So I think I have reached a conclusion on what seeds I am getting. I looked at the suggestions I got, as well as others I found on my own. My list is:

Code:
Seed Company	Strain Type #/pack	$/pack
--------------------------------------------------------------
Sensi Seeds	Jack Herer Natural	10 $213.66
Sensi Seeds	Marley's Collie Natural	10	174.21
Sensi Seeds	Northern Lights Natural	10	161.06
Paradise Seeds	Delahaze Feminized	10	116.67
G13 Labs	Pineapple Express Feminized 1 Freebie
						       -------
						       $665.60

I'm going through Attitude Seeds. Any opinions, on strain or seed bank?

I'm getting the Schnazzleberry used to a higher ppm. She's looking good with no nute burn issues. They have completely overgrown the space in veg:

Here is a quick 2-shot pan of the bloomers. The foreground lady is the same in both. She's MTO1 and tomorrow, she gets nothing but Clearex and water. The two in the back, OC1 & OC3, are going long gracefully and should be pulled any time:

Here are a couple bud shots of MTO1 to commemorate her last meal:
