5 Unknown Strains - 2012 Grow

Wizz, awesome. I look forward to it. If you get a chance, check out the pics of the really bushy strains, like the Critical in my second journal. Major side branching, but it is hard to see because they are like a dense bush. They will stretch a bit once I veg them under the hps for a while.

Time for the insane update of mid week 2 of flower.
I did the weekly res change and watered a couple plants today. I think I may stick with coco for a while because MAN! The thought of changing 8+ res's and making sure theres no root rot is a serious full time + over time job. I hand it to growers like Cultivator etc for there huge hydro grows. I mean WIW!!!!!! (Vicks voice)

I will be transplanting the clones and getting the CS treatment started on one of the best clones. This shall be a treat to see Also.....UM I just forgot what the hell I was about to say

Oh well here goes the update and SUPER PORN!


Heres the bushy indica plant vegged under GLR. It has a nice size cola with nice side branches with bud sites. Looks great for mid week 2 of flower. I want you to notice the difference between the 2 plants. Started giving molasses to the coco plants to feed the built up mycorrhizae and for carbo to sweetin up the deal. At the end Ill have some super dense nugs with great trichomes. Bud Candy will still be given to all plants also.

Now for the DWC indica which was vegged under 16/8-18/6 lighting. Heres that 1ft-2ft cola you guys ask for. Super tight bud sites which are tight to the MAIN STEM (NOT NOD LENGTH) but bud sites

Cheese Wiz Qush Sativa plants there looking great but not as great since there under CFLs. But still smells good.

Last is my clone babies. 12 Indicas and 2 Sativas. Ill be adding the stasis clones to the bubble cloner also this week.

P.S. I just remembered what I was going to say, I added CS to the res to see if its true about what I read. CS is claimed to keep the res clean also.

Thanks Miwa & Hiker. To answer your question HiKer yes I added 1.67ml of 50PPM CS to 2.5 gallons of water in the res. The CS that is sold by SNS is 20 PPM so pretty much I deluted the CS to around that. I like running test to see the out come.

Thanks TG. After alot of research, I havent seen anything bad about any CS on the market. In fact I ran into more info talking about how the ions stabilizes plants. I guess just like working with any nute or additve all that it comes down to is the PPM. Well see in about a week how the res and the roots look. And ill be checking for male parts also. Just making sure the CS doesnt have bad effects on the plant when added to the res. I will also add CS to coco. I have a plant thats not going to produce much at all since the main stock is so slim and its been a slow grower since rooting. So ill use that as a coco test run plant.

I'm glad you're doing this experiment. It very well could be beneficial. Knowing the stuff is used to mess with a plants gender makes me nervous though.

No deficiencies just light burn. BPN makes for some healthy leaves & the plants grew into the light. It started to burn out the moister & the trichomes in the leaves. I raised the light yesterday.

Hey WildBill, everything is running good so far with the CS being added to the res. I just poped the hood today an the water is looking crystal clear. Still checking for any changes and ill start adding it to coco this week. As for the clones ill be using CS for pollen etc.

hey Wiz..thanks for the link..thats my store..i like that 1 click ordering..yeah i'll get some...i'm ready for a repot...i got bpn...i got enough going i can do some compare growing i got a bunch of PH sprouts..always wondered if you could grow using only tea..well..if it can't be did in sunlight ..it can't be don...i might strain some compost tea real good and put it in a dwc..whatta u think...man...look..grow some Pineapple Express..

I dont think compost tea will be good in a res since there will be alot of bacteria. That will really cause the res to get yucky. Im pretty sure you can grow in coco or soil using only compost teas though. They have Nitrogen guano and phosphorus guano. So its definitely possible.

No problem on the link. I always go to that online site. I get all the good nutes and additives for cheap on there. I get the great white and voodoo juice for a good price. Super fast shipping also.
