5 Unknown Strains - 2012 Grow

I like it alot wizz

Thanks Sir Fish :)

is that the same silver they use to make f seeds ???i started using that 10/14 light sch last year...my flower rm is on that now...i'm sticking with soil...at least until i can get those constant read meters for ph and ppm...i just went on line at harbor freight..going to order one of those RF Detectors..can't have too much security...

IDK I emailed them but the email that was given wasnt active or wrong. So I wouldnt know but it says its .999% silver so I think it could be exact. I may just try it my self just to see. Just a little test run. Im liking the 10/14 and I will def stay with it. The new room ill be growing in I will have to light seal it because theres a few leaks. I never checked my PPM or PH in hydro. And never had any problems with the plants. I use AN & BPN nutes/additives

Nice, man. Those must be sativas with thin long ass stocks.

The top 2 pictures are Indica and the lower 2 pictures are sativa

yeah...i got some 2 part AN..i know its suppose to keep ph in control..right now i'm using Technaflora ...guess i should switch..make up a batch and put this sick PE in it

I know you would like the BPN nutes. I use the 2 part base nutes and BPN's other additives like the seaweed etc. Only AN products I will stand by is voodoo juice, bud candy, & rhino skin. I think those are there best products. I use 3 different nute lines and make one super nute line up. GH, BPN, AN. Oh and I really stand by Great White mycorrhizae. SNS 604A does wonders also. It helps nutrient uptake and stops deficiencies from happening. Pretty much balances out the soil etc. :thumb:

Looking good Wizzy!

I think collodial silver is all the same. It's sold as a health food supplement as well. I found a bottle in a cupboard here the other day. My wife has all sort of stuff like that around. :)

Wiz, you should try a hempy grow. Gives pretty close results to dwc and is much easier to maintain. Or check out my super hempy hybrid. I'm working on this pot for my critical. Something new. Not sure if it has ever been done before. It is like mixing hempy, dwc, and oxy-pots, the kind will all the cone holes.

thanks Wiz...going to check amazon...see if they have bnp..my grow store don't stock it...

You have to go to Cory's website. BluePlanetNutrients.com :thumb:

Im open to trying anything new. I see you have it running now so Ill stay posted to your journal to see how it goes.

yep...just left Cory...i read where a grower just mashed the end of a cutting..stuck it in jel...and put it in a cube and it rooted..i got a mashed stem in the cloner...i got my fish tank out and heating pad...i got a tray of rockwool and a tray of jiffy pellets..i got seed in both trays and cuttings in both trays..all seeds were put in water for 24hrs and they all split...see where i get better results..RW or JP...i'm betting on JP...

No doubt in mind that the seeds/cuttings in JP will root way faster then RW. RW sucks IMO. I wouldnt even waste time using RW. I had cuttings in RW for a month and they never rooted. Same with seeds. They popped there heads up but never grew. I removed them then put them in rapid rooters. Rapid rooters are the best. But I now choose my bubble cloner over everything else.

Have you had trouble with seeds using the heating mat? To much heat will make the seeds mushy. I had encountered that problem once

oh i got elect heaters...on sale now at walmart...i need cheap heat..i was thinking karosine would be cheaper than propane..even those small elec heaters have high watts..if i could add watts..i would upgrade to a 600 w hps..or run another 400 w cmh...update...i got green in my RW...all 6..the JP...only 1...got pics...this is only the 2nd day...not bad for a 1st run in the tank...now lets see what these cuttings will do...

I would steer away from anything that burns fuel...you create CARBON MONOXIDE...poisonous gas to humans...make sure to get those electrics off the floor also! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Guess I'm excited about this grow & very excited about the 3rd. I can't wait until next week when I will stop using voodoo juice & great white & start using molasses. I really think that will super jump these plants & they will love it. Carbo: Bud candy, BPN Sea Weed, & Molasses

These plants are doing awesome for only 4 today makes 5 days into flower since flipping the lights running 10/14. I will upload some pics to show you the difference in growth with using GLR vs 16/8-18/6

Agreed! Kerosene only in a well ventilated space.

Ok im pointing out the difference with light schedules. Major difference in growth. These are the same strains under the same lighting and conditions. Same nutes. I just wanted to point this out because everyone says GLR sucks and its not worth the time. Its not the point of it speeding up the veg process, its the fact that it will get you a much bushier plant in a whole and it saves electricity. Both lighting grow the plant at the same speed.

GLR Light Schedule. Notice how the side branches grow out all the way up the main stock. Which is only left with about 4 nodes thats tight and close to the main stock. GLR focuses on the whole plant instead of lateral growth. This is good for SCROG or if you just want a bushy plant(s).

16/8-18/6 Light Schedule. This lighting only focuses on lateral growth. The side branches will not grow as well but if height isnt a issue then it is perfect. Notice how theres about 7-8 nodes of tightness around the main stalk. This lighting is perfect for SOG grows.

That's a great demonstration Wiz!
