I have been meaning to ask you for a long time now, but, with the success you are having with hydro growing, do you think you will ever grow in soil again?

wow those roots are amazing. Seem like you could do something with them. I think I would grind them up and put them as mulch on the outdoor plants....or make a Christmas wreath out of them or something.

I'm going to miss this journal, it has been one of the best since day one!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Everything is clipped, manicured, and drying in 68 degrees with 45% RH.

Another couple of days and I might be able to put some in jars. I'm headed to check on/feed the outdoor plants today so I'll have a pic update later. I havent been there in 16 days so they should make for impressive pictures.

OK guys...... what an outdoor update! I did not expect them to be this far along. I fed them both with 2 gallons of RO water loaded with Blossom Booster from Jack's Classic.


Anyway, for those of you that are just getting here let me bring everyone up to speed with some chronological pictures to show you the growth of each plant.

Great looking outdoor plants. They have gotten so big. Your gonna get some weight off those ladies. Great job. And congrats again. There are a lot of great, knowledgeable grower on this site. But this time around you with you Journal and willingness to help deserved it over anyone else. Again great job and can't wait to see how those outdoor ladies come along...

Ahh, the beauty of an outdoor grow. I really don't think plants can be any happier than outdoors, in the ground surrounded by other plants. Yours are beautiful and it is going to be great to see the colour come out of them as the nights get cooler in your part of the world.

about the member of the month, how do you even vote? where do you go? i want to vote for people but can't find it anywhere. anyone want to make my life easy and just tell me? soniq?

dude, propa pointed me at a grow that was a vert style kinda like yours, but it was made one long pipe, fed at one end and dumps back to the res on the other side. not aero though, just fast flow nft.

i think it was 6" pipe though.

after seeing your roots, just makes me think that it must be a pain in the ass for him to cleanup after a grow because he can't just pull out all of the mass like you did, hed have to pull them out of the holes for the netpots, or take the whole thing apart.

anyways, not relevant other than you got massive roots and it made me think.

I'm pretty sure I know of the grow that you are referencing.

The guys name is Heath Robinson and he's a beast. He netted 46 oz off of that grow with a single 600Watt bulb.

He puts clones straight to 12/12 in that system. Results can't be argued with.
