If those roots were braided up (heck even they way they are now), I wonder how much force it would take to break it. From the looks of them, It would appear that you could tow a supertanker with a tugboat using the roots as rope.

Chiller is being ordered. I found a great local grow shop, 26% off all products, if its not in stock they will order it and I still get the 26% off.
I have some other questions, humidity and air temp. My room will be 8' x 8', using panda plastic (white/black side), using 2" x 4" studs for walls. Im ordering a 440cfpm inline fan 6". Now if the air in my room is cleared every min or so how can I control the humidity / temp? I could cut a window out in my wall and put a smaller air conditioner in it? This room is located in a basement with concert walls so in the summer its still cool. I'm ordering the $220 HORTILUX™ SUPER HPS™ in a XXXL reflector. I have to have my list ready by SAT in the A.M. I've read your post and your list and I have a few questions and comments:
1. Your room is 8x8 and if I'm reading right the walls will be studded with panda over them as sheating, correct?
2. If so, and this room is enclosed in a cool basement(how cool is it?), logic tells me that this room is going to have relatively the same RH as the basement itself. Therefore, you really won't know if you'll need a dehumidifier until you start growing. You can veg with RH in the 70-80's but you want to flower in the 40-55% RH range. As far as the AC goes, I'd need to see the setup to comment but if I'm reading right, wouldnt the AC be inside the basement?
3. You have $50.00 listed for "nutri" which I suspect is nutrients. It's very important to grow with good nutes that won't gum up your sprayers. I used Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A&B as well as Conniseur A&B. I've also used Sensi Bloom A&B and it does a fine job. Either way, Expect to have 200-300 invested in nutrients per grow.
4. I see 3 inch net cups listed but you plan to use 4 inch PVC? 4 inch PVC will not accomodate 3" cups. You must use 2" cups and neoprene sleeves in the 4 inch pipe. There's no room for hydroton. To grow this way you need to keep a mother and clip clones from to feed your system with. Snip em, dip em, place them right into the sleeve and start spraying them.
5. You need to look into investing in a light mover for your 1000 watter. It'll pay for itself after 1 harvest.
6. You need a lot of special fittings, float valves, vinyl hose in various sizes, drains, etc to set your system up right. Have you thought of these things? Have you ordered your sprayers? grommets? brass fittings to run your sprayer hoses from? Have you built your spray pump or do you have an idea or concept for it?
The details make all the difference when growing like this.
All of these items and ways to get them can be found within my journal. Use it as a resource/blueprint if you'd like.
Lastly, I know why they promised you the 20% off.... those folks are expensive.....lol

Ya I'm still unsure on how the spray system will be built but there will be 22 jets. The basement is about 35' x 25'. Yes the studs will be lined with panda pvc liner for a fully enclosed 8' x 8' room. I guess I have to keep the incoming air cooled? Meaning I have to cool the basement (incoming air) with a air conditioner/heater (cold winters, cool summers.) I'm not sure. Ya I wont use any medium, I'm using 4" square pvc probably will use 2" nets, 3" will fit. I figured 50$ on nutrients to start. Need another paycheck

Question: Do you think a longer pipe would help? I think you mentioned going with a 6" pipe - from those roots, seems like 20' of 4" pipe could be filled... with U's of course to keep them within the grow space.

I know that harvest took alot out of u. Nice work, definitely gonna give hydro a run. I'll take a stab at it and say 26oz dry weight. PPM never exceeded 600W, damn. How's the potency? Hell of a journal man, let us know when ur gonna do it again.

I know. 420fied has shown us all that pumping in high nutrient levels won't necessarily lead to bigger grows even if the plants can tolerate those high levels.

I am totally amazed at the amount of information you have shared. I have been accumulating the parts I need to do an aero grow and you have answered every question I had about the system and experiance. Thanks so much for all of your effort! GREAT JOB!
