4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG - 1200 Watts

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

Those collard greens are looking nice. I forgot but how long did you veg your clones? I think I'm going to veg my clones for 3 weeks and flip the switch (with Co2) to 12/12.

A shot to show more scale

I fed both with 30-10-10 Jack's Classic(2nd feeding since planted).... with a gallon of Distilled water each. They have been in the ground for exactly 27 days and are getting plenty of sunshine and rain. I havent actually measured them with a tape measurer, but I'm guessing each plant is 32-36 inches tall at this point....and that's conservative.

I'm certainly pleased with the way they look! Thoughts?

Those ladies look like they are loving the outdoors. I cant wait to see them all grown up. Great job..

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

very nice they'll get some fat buds

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

Thanks everyone. I've decided to tuck my canopy yet again tonight. The colas are going to be too tall if not.

I'm in for an agonizing wrestling match. I'll show pic updates when it goes down.

I appreciate everyones comments and feedback. Hopefully we'll all learn something along the way.

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

You really don't want too retuck them in flower mode. If the bud grows into the screen the screen could cut into the bud and cause mold/budrot in those particular areas.
I would use the screen as a trelles and just tie down the buds that are getting too tall to the screen arcing the smaller ones to the middle and the larger ones towards the outside. Good luck with the grow. Some really nice work goin on in this thread.

After assessing the situation this is going to be my only route. I've got 13 inchers in places. I never dreamed they still had that much stretch in them. Oh well, this is my first run and we'll call it a learning experience.

Anyway, I'm going to tie them tomorrrow. I'll provide some pics of what I'm doing.

+rep for your input.

Here are some pics for you guys.

Most tops are in the 6-13 inch range. Most tops are 6-9 inches with 3 or 4 making a foot or better....it's an error on my part but I can't tuck them now. I'm going to tie off the longer tops toward the outside and tuck the fan leaves above the screen in order to do everything in my power to get adequate light to the shorter tops. I appreciate everyones feedback.... We'll be OK.

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

420fied, you have dense vigorous healthy growth just two months from cuttings. Looks as even as other successful scrogs were, but more thick. The stem in your hand appears to fill half or more of that 2" net cup. Now, let there be flowers in profusion.

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

Just a question but is it possible to just raise the screen up a few inches further on the new growth and then trim out anything under the screen? Just thought it might take less time than tie a lot buds out.
