I would only thin the leaves that don't get light. each one of them is like a little solar powered factory producing the sugars that the flowers need to produce resin.
Yeah the hardest part of a scrog is learning the timing for the strain your using. Hopfully they won't streÞch to be to tall through experience I found that the higher they stretch over the screen the less of a yeild. They aren't to far over now though and yield shouldn't be adffected to much
This one will be amazing ...5 star vote ....
Just keep them coming , looks mighty green !
Looking great man that screen is full.

Looks like you've received enough 5 star votes for the software to rate the thread
Congratulations

I have no idea what that means Soniq....but thank you......lol
"Interesting but I don't know if I agree. If you've got enough light it doesnt matter how far above the screen....you'll yield.
However, I'm now seeing that I let them go just a tad early. I'm going to have foot tall colas in some places and am actually considering an emergency mini-tuck job if they stretch much more, simply because I wanted them at 6-8 inches.......lol" - 420fied
I see it like this ... and I am talking from personal experience over my past four or five scrogs... It seems like the less leaves there are the more the plant focuses on bud production. Sure your tops are all going to have the same amount of light but if you let em grow above the screen too much all the growth under the main colas gets shaded out. I have let them grow above the screen on the first two and got 5 ounces for three plants... in the last three grows I have made sure the buds start right from the screen and have gotten yields as high as 7.5 to 8 ounces. I know that sounds really drastic but its the truth. But then again I have only grown the same strain for all of my grows and I dont know if it works the same for other strains.
Next grow give it a try and see waht happens... and if you want to pull em down this grow I use gardening twist ties.... they work amazingly.
Anyways everything looks amazing man and keep up the great thread. I am currently working on ordering parts for an aero system and am hoping for even higher yield... your system is an inspiration I cant believe how fast your screen filled in.
